"Here's the takeaway: excellent facilities, but just okay service – a bit of a shame overall. The hotel's public areas, rooms, and pool are very stylish and make for great photos. They've paid attention to the details too: bath salts, disposable bath liners, foot bath basins, multi-purpose charging cables, and wireless charging are all provided, making for a very convenient stay. However, breakfast was a real disappointment. The only highlight was the fresh-squeezed juice; everything else was mediocre. We came to Taizhou specifically for the local glutinous delicacies, and yet, despite egg mochi and other items being clearly advertised on a billboard above the restaurant, none were available when we asked. If they can't provide them, why advertise them and get people's hopes up? Service-wise, the cleaning staff and the pool receptionists were all very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the front desk staff had a poker face throughout, which was a stark contrast to the warm environment and lowered our first impression. In summary: It's great for photos and relaxation, but don't come here expecting a fantastic breakfast or warm service. I'd suggest the hotel focus more on improving breakfast and staff training at the front desk; otherwise, even the best facilities won't be enough to build a good reputation."

"I booked a three-night package deal through Ctrip, and the hotel room was quite spacious and very comfortable. The hygiene and environment were excellent. I'm a bit of a clean freak, so I always wipe down the nightstand and desk with sanitizing wipes when I check into any hotel, and there wasn't a speck of dust here. Also, I drink a lot of water, and the staff were very thoughtful, bringing me several extra bottles. I also dined at the hotel restaurant during my stay; the service was attentive, the food was delicious, and they even gave me a discount. All in all, I was extremely satisfied."

It's right next to the Xijiang River, so there are a lot of people exercising in the morning and evening. There are plenty of dining options within a few hundred meters. "When choosing this hotel, I saw reviews claiming it was the best in the seaside area, but my overall experience was quite average. Firstly, the parking lot design was extremely flawed. After parking in the underground garage, there was no elevator to the upper floors; we had to carry our luggage up the stairs before we could use the elevator. Since most hotel guests bring suitcases, and we had a child and a stroller with us, this was incredibly inconvenient. I've never stayed in a hotel like this before. The hotel design was also strange. The VIP reception was on the fifth floor, unlike typical hotels where you're greeted in the lobby. Our experience from the parking lot to the fifth floor was unpleasant, and the facilities didn't match the price. Secondly, regarding service, the overall experience was very average. Aside from one staff member at the fifth-floor reception, we barely encountered any hotel staff. We even had to walk to the adjacent reception building for breakfast. The previous night, we stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Shenxianju, where the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. In comparison, our experience at the VIP hotel was a stark contrast, even though the VIP room rate was significantly higher than the DoubleTree by Hilton. A reviewer added us on WeChat the day before check-in, but it was essentially just for recording our license plate. The booking confirmation mentioned a complimentary gift, and reviews also confirmed it was included, but we didn't receive one upon check-out. Regarding the facilities, the hotel is quite old, and some are dated, but the rooms were generally decent. There was welcome fruit upon entry, and a late-night bowl of noodles was served, which tasted good. Overall, this experience was very average. I had high expectations for the hotel based on the reviews, but the actual experience was quite disappointing. For the price, I'm not satisfied with the experience."

"Service: The service was excellent; all the staff were very kind and gentle. Any requests we had were quickly met. They even gave us a small gift when we checked out. The breakfast selection was also very rich. Cleanliness: The room was clean. I had requested a non-smoking room beforehand, and there was indeed no smoke smell. "Located near Shili Changjie in Luqiao, I opted for a package that included a dinner buffet. The food selection was great, and there was a foreign singer performing, which really set a fantastic mood. They also offer a free late-night noodle bar every evening, which is so substantial it could easily be a full dinner. For those watching their calories, it offers excellent value for money."

The room amenities are excellent, and as for the details, the water pressure is strong, and hot water comes out quickly. One minor flaw: the labels on the shampoo, shower gel, and hand soap bottles are too small and hard to read. The room lighting design is very good. Regarding dining, the breakfast selection is rich, and the evening paid buffet offers a wide variety of dishes with great value for money. It's highly recommended."

Very nice personnel especially 小露 (Xiao Lu),who was so kind and helpful during stay arranging all services. Beautiful, long swimming pool. Definitely recommended place to stay but you need speak a little Chinese."
