We stayed here during the Qingming Festival, and the hotel was almost fully booked. Despite that, the service was exceptionally attentive. Initially, I didn't have high expectations, especially when the navigation led us to the underground parking lot, I thought, 'Oh no, am I about to regret this?' But then, we arrived at the lobby just in time for fish feeding, which delighted my child, and the scenery was beautiful – it was a lovely start. As for the room, we booked a deluxe king room, and I loved the layout; the sliding door between the bedroom and bathroom was a great feature. The soundproofing was excellent, we couldn't hear a thing. The hairdryer was a Dyson, and the mini-bar, slippers, toiletries, and complimentary fruit and tremella soup were all of good quality, showing real care. I also booked a courtyard suite for my in-laws, which had an even more charming ambiance. The old street had performances during the holiday, and there were also snacks and a Starbucks right outside, perfect for a stroll. Overall, a great experience!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Taizhou Fucheng Yin Hotel, a recommendation from a friend. Arriving around 2 PM after a walk through the ancient street, I was immediately struck by its charm. The antique-style reception area, the venerable camphor tree with its sprawling canopy in the courtyard, the spotlessly elegant ground-floor restaurant, the guest rooms with their enormous bay windows, and of course, that breathtaking book bar – it all truly made me want to settle in for a long read. There’s so much to praise, and the breakfast definitely deserves a huge shout-out. While not extensive in variety, every dish was exquisite and delicious, offering a range of Taizhou local specialties that far surpassed anything you’d find at a street food stall. Finally, I must thank the hotel for the travel photography service. The photographer, Ban Dao Cha (半島茶), was not only highly skilled and patient but also had an excellent eye for aesthetics.

MierhaosenhuangdaopoWaking up this morning, I found the sunlight outside the window embroidering a flowing watercolor on your white gauze curtains. Water droplets in the bathroom wrote transparent verses on the glass, and the softness of the bath towel reminded me of the cotton quilts I used to sun-dry as a child—that warmth kissed by the sun. The aroma of coffee in the restaurant mingled with the breath of freshly baked bread. Most precious of all, you've transformed ”feeling at home” from a mere formality into a tangible warmth, making every detail whisper: Travelers, please fully experience your vacation here. This isn't just a hotel; it's an invitation written with service, inviting every passerby to consider this place a home away from home. (Note: Thank you to the uncle for his attentive service; it made me feel at home on a foreign night.) On the way back, the uncle saw the most beautiful rainbow!

Guest UserThe young owner, born in the 2000s, was incredibly sincere and honest. He personally picked us up from Tiantaishan Railway Station. The guesthouse was the newest in the area, with excellent decor and everything. Most importantly, it was so quiet here; I slept until I naturally woke up, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, returning to inner peace. The location was also incredibly convenient, just a few minutes' walk to Guoqing Temple, with farmland along the way, and you could avoid the crowds at the visitor center!

Shenxianju Star Viewing and Yuemu B&B, which we booked online with Ctrip in advance, is very close to the south entrance of Shenxianju Scenic Area. However, we learned that we were going to visit the next day, and after having a free and rich farmhouse special breakfast, the owner personally drove us there. We went there, and after the tour the boss came to pick us up and meet us at the B&B. Although we only stayed for two short nights, we felt very satisfied. Not only was the room comfortable and clean, the facilities were complete, but the service was warm and thoughtful. They took the initiative to help us carry our suitcases to the room where we were staying and introduced Shenxianjunan It is a leisure route suitable for the elderly, entering from the south gate and exiting from the south gate. The main attractions are basically visited, which saves us effort and time without wasting our legs. In particular, some of the intangible cultural heritage handicrafts and wood carving master-level products of the B&B owner are particularly unique and worthy of praise. Secondly, the delicious dishes cooked by the landlady are full of fragrance and taste, and the taste will be unforgettable for a long time. We drank some wine and sang karaoke, and we were in a particularly happy mood. ...Everything is good, worth recommending, take photos for reference.

My stay at Le Pavillon Eternel Hotel was fantastique! The hosts were very hospitable and friendly, a charming husband and wife couple; the hostess was quite a chef. I really liked how she cooked my meals, after visiting the Grand Waterfall of Tiantai and the Qiongtai Fairyland Canyon, perfect places for me to visit at the end of the year. Both are highly recommended. And this hotel is highly recommended because the entrance of these stunningly surreal, spectacular, and serene sites - all at once - are just about a 10-15 walk from the hotel. I visited the famous Buddhist Temple a few years back, so it was all about taking in this amazing waterfall and exploring this enchanting water canyon in between soaring mountains that kiss the sky. Descending back to my hotel room, it was quiet, and the bed comfortable. The heater and the wifi also worked well. The water was nice and hot in the middle of winter. The hotel is not very far from the Tiantai Shan Train Station, which is about 15-20 by taxi and costs only about 25 yuan. When I get another chance to come to Tiantai, I'll definitely come back here.

Anonymous UserThis hotel is quite charming—it’s a large, old house that has been nicely converted into several hotel rooms. Our room was very comfortable.
However, a heads-up regarding the bathroom: there was no door on the toilet area, and the shower was an all-glass enclosure. Since I was traveling with my husband, it wasn't an issue for us, but if you are traveling with friends, you might want to be aware of this lack of privacy.
The location is excellent! It’s right next to the City Wall and super close to several great restaurants and cool bars.
We also liked the service; the staff were quite attentive. One thing I found confusing, though, was that they didn't register my address as per the usual government standard for foreign guests, which most hotels in China follow.
As for cleanliness, it was standard for China—there were a few stray hairs in parts of the room (usually women's hair), but I find this happens in practically any hotel here.
Overall, it was a good stay!

We just checked out today, and honestly this was one of the best experiences I’ve had in China. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. He even upgraded us to a bigger room with a beautiful terrace, a higher floor, and an amazing view, which made our stay even more special.
What touched us the most was how they treated us like guests, not just customers. They invited us to have dinner together, and we spent the evening eating, chatting, and playing games. It felt very warm and authentic.
They also paid attention to every detail. They asked us what time we usually wake up and when we would like breakfast, and in the morning they brought a delicious breakfast directly to our room.
As a foreigner who has been living in China for two years, this is honestly the first time I have felt so comfortable, welcomed, and connected with local people during a stay. It was a wonderful experience that we will remember for a long time.
Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. We will definitely come back again and highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a warm, genuine, and memorable experience.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the North Gate of Shenxianju. The air quality in the surrounding area is fresh, with high levels of negative ions – truly a natural oxygen bar. The front desk staff were very thoughtful; they not only processed our check-in but also booked our Shenxianju tour for the next day. It's incredibly convenient for visiting Shenxianju. There are shuttle buses at the North Gate that take you to the South Gate. You can enter through the South Gate, explore the main attractions along the way, and then exit via the North Gate, making it easy to get back to the hotel and save energy.

PROS: The boss helped us with dinner by cooking for us, since we’ve arrived quite late, and the fried noodles were so yummy! The breakfast was also served hot & delicious, even if we’ve woken up quite late in the morning too! The carpeted floor was clean & comfortable & the bed is soft & clean. Towels were clean & fresh. The shower head is new & stylish. There is a parking area which is safe.
TO BE IMPROVED: Our room’s trash bin was still full with trash from the previous guest, and it was placed in front of our room door, they probably forgot to bring it back inside the room, nor to clean it. The glasses in the sink were dirty. The surfaces of the tank of the toilet bowl is clearly not cleaned regularly, same with the toilet bowl.
