"Conveniently located between two terminals. You don’t have to leave the airport, and it is easy to locate as there are navigation signs even on the floor. They also give you the voucher to skip security lines, you just show it to the staff as entering the security check zone. The room is spacious with Australia type plugs, yet, I couldn’t plug in the charger. (Had the same issue with other hotel where for Aus plug you had to push super hard to get it in). Luckily, they also had usb ports for the chargers. The room had four bottles of complimentary water. Also, liked the fact that toilet with personal sink and mirror and shower with lager sink and mirror are separated, making in easier to get ready."

"I chose this airport hotel because I had a connecting flight the next morning. It's conveniently located close to the airport's arrival exit, about 600 meters away. The hotel's decor has a distinctly Chengdu style, the facilities are average, but the cleanliness is good. A big plus is the absence of airplane takeoff and landing noise that you often find at other airport hotels; the soundproofing on the windows is excellent. The front desk staff provided very good service, and the hotel even offers a complimentary VIP airport security fast track for guests."

"The hotel's location is very close to the airport, and the room rates are really cheap. They also offer breakfast and free shuttle service. For a layover, the hotel even provides a free washing machine with a dryer, which is super convenient."

"Choosing this hotel for our layover was a brilliant decision. The hotel's guest services center was fantastic; whenever I had questions or wasn't sure about something, I'd call them and the operator would patiently answer all my queries. They guided me to the breakfast area and even helped me check out over the phone – they really went above and beyond! The surrounding scenery is beautiful and the air is fresh, making you feel as if you're in the embrace of nature. The hotel facilities are excellent, with a swimming pool, gym, and more, allowing us to relax and unwind after a day of activities. Our room was cozy and comfortable, and the view from the window was breathtaking – waking up to such beautiful scenery every day was a treat. The staff were warm and attentive, which added a lot of enjoyment to our trip. We'll definitely be back for our next vacation."

"Great airport hotel, perfect for early morning flights or late-night arrivals. They offer a shuttle service; you can simply add them on WeChat to coordinate a pickup. Inside, there's a small mini-mart for drinks and snacks, plus they serve great-tasting fresh coffee and tea. The rooms are clean and offer excellent value for money."

"The hotel is located in the new district of Jianyang, which feels like a hotel cluster. There's also a tourist street nearby with plenty of local food and specialties you can buy. Funnily enough, I used to work in Chengdu for a year, and I remember local specialties like Zhang Fei Beef. This time, I discovered 'Dog Poop Candy' here, which was quite good! It's a bit like the peanut brittle from my hometown in Hubei, but less sweet and with a softer texture. It's very close to Chengdu Tianfu Airport, and the hotel offers a free shuttle service. I arrived at T2 and got on the shuttle at Gate 21. The ride was about 30 minutes. I also noticed that the hotel's shuttle seems to be the last one in the pickup sequence, so once you board, you can leave right away without stopping at other hotels to pick up more people. The shuttle departs on the hour for airport drop-offs, and on the half-hour for airport pickups at Tianfu Airport. For example, I got on the shuttle at 10:30 AM at the airport, which was perfect – I only waited 5 minutes. I was the only one being picked up at that time, so I had an entire tour bus to myself. There was a row of BBQ stalls across the street from the hotel in the evening, but I didn't have time to try them. To save time when I first arrived, I ordered takeout – a bowl of noodles for 22 RMB, which felt quite expensive. It might be because the surrounding area caters mostly to tourists, making things relatively pricier. In the evening, I had Jianyang lamb soup, half a catty, with two small pancakes, totaling 68 RMB. This is comparable to city prices, even a bit more expensive than some cities in the central and western regions. But the taste was good! The hotel's breakfast was a bit simple but sufficient. The room facilities were relatively new, and it was quite comfortable to stay in. I often saw foreigners in the lobby and elevators, which suggests this hotel really is a tourist hub. Holiday Inn is a global hotel group, so perhaps foreigners trust the brand, leading to more of them staying here. I suspect many people might stop over here when visiting Chengdu, using it as a base before heading into the city for sightseeing. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit far from Jianyang's old town, so you'd need a taxi if you wanted to visit and explore the old area."

"This newly opened Atour Hotel is conveniently located near Tianfu Airport and offers a free airport shuttle, making it perfect for late-night arrivals. The facilities are brand new with no strange odors, and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, going out of their way to assist with travel arrangements."

"Our rooms were good but a bit of problem during checking when we arrived at 1am. but were solved. Breakfast is good variety and suitable for most traveller. Location wise is a bit far from city centre,"

"Exceeded my expectations! I was just looking for a layover stop, and I never imagined a hotel of this caliber for the price – a very pleasant surprise. The hotel covers a large area, the environment is excellent, and most importantly, it's very quiet, perfect for a good rest. They offer free airport shuttle service, starting at 5 AM every half hour, which is super convenient. The breakfast quality is also high, with fresh ingredients and a wide variety. The restaurant staff are very enthusiastic, actively helping to refill water and clear dishes. The guest service was superb; they gave me a free room upgrade and welcome fruit, which was fantastic. I'll definitely choose this hotel for all my future layovers at Tianfu Airport."

"Positive - Overall a very nice hotel with spacious/luxurious rooms and ideal location if you are in transit or need to be close to the airport - Breakfast was amazing (11/10) - There is a nice (bit more western) cafe (open until 21:00 I think) and a supermarket - The facilities such as the swimming pool (make sure to check opening hours!) and the fitness are a big bonus! Very nice and tidy. Negative - Difficult communication with hotel people. 1) They did not find my booking and acted like they did not know trip.com (?!) even though in the hotel room itself there was an advertisment on trip.com (lol). 2) They also told me that swimming was not included in my reservation and I had to pay extra. I had to reach out to trip.com and luckily everything got sorted because it should have been included… Shout out to the customer service of trip.com who resolved this matter quicky and professionally 3) I got a smoking room even though I reserved a non smoking. But honestly at this point and due to high difficulty of communication you have to choose your battles. (I think the issues summed up were due to the fact that they did not find my reservation…) 4) When I wanted to ask where the swimming pool was (since no english speaking people you did not really get information on these things - you have to figure it out yourself), some people were cutting the line and even when I just let it be and waited patiently another person just moved me aside. Hotel people did nothing but honestly this was the least issue of all. 5) at the end of my trip they were probably were so fed up with this foreigner (aka me) that they were not friendly at the check out. - Very bad wifi (you maybe can check your emails or use basic apps but the network is weak protected)."
