"This hotel in Lanzhou was highly recommended on Xiaohongshu and the price was quite reasonable, even during the Chinese New Year, the premium wasn't too bad. If you're coming to Lanzhou with elderly family or kids, I strongly recommend this place!
Despite the strong recommendation, it does have its downsides. The main one is that the executive lounge is terrible – it's practically empty, so there's absolutely no need to book a Club room. However, the night view from the higher floors is absolutely stunning. The design of the two floors where the gym is located isn't very well thought out; you need someone to specifically guide you upstairs. The steamed buns and beef noodles at breakfast were delicious, but the variety was a bit limited. Still, considering the price isn't high, there's not much to complain about. The service is decent, but it's still a step below five-star hotels in Hainan.
Nevertheless, the good outweighs the bad, and I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lanzhou!"

"We had a very pleasant stay at Hilton Lanzhou City Centre. Many thanks to front office staff, Debbie who attended to us warmly and responsively. The hotel's location was good and the check-in was very fast. Our high-floor room was clean and comfortable, the best is, choice of pillows is granted. We thoroughly enjoyed the sunrise view of the city from our window. A point to note, the room window can only be unlocked by staff for cooler air flow as the central heating system is in operation for the current winter season. We also loved the fragrant of the toiletries. Buffet breakfast spread was tasty and varied. We spent a relaxing time enjoying our breakfast slowly."

"The hotel is close to a high speed train station and underground station. Very convenient for traveling. The hotel also provides transfer to and from the High Speed Train Station. It is not too short to walk to with luggage but too short for a taxi ride. Hence, the transfer takes away this embarrassing problem.
Generally I like the hotel. Breakfast is very good indeed.
The ladies at the Reception were helpful but could be more friendly with a smile. They seem too official."

"Staying at the Sheraton Zhongsheng in Lanzhou was absolutely worth it! The moment I walked in, I was touched by the thoughtful service from the concierge, especially Lucky, who was incredibly welcoming. The room was spacious and tidy, and some room types even offer panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows with direct views of the Yellow River – the night view was breathtaking. The bedding was soft and made for a great night's sleep. Smart bathroom fixtures and a Dyson hairdryer were a super thoughtful touch. The freshly made beef noodles at breakfast were surprisingly authentic. The gym and heated pool facilities were excellent. With direct subway access and surrounded by shopping districts, it's super convenient for getting around and dining out. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lanzhou!"

You can easily get a taxi or order a DIDi in front of the hotel. The breakfast on the 3rd floor is plentiful and delicious. The breakfast staffs work very hard to accommodate every guest’s needs and requests. The housekeepers work diligently and keep the place clean with well supplied, especially the toilet which is shiny everyday. The front desk girls are friendly, polite and receptive. My husband and I will definitely stand here when we visit Lanzhou again."

[An unexpected long-stay experience during the Spring Festival! Lanzhou Xigu Atour Hotel deserves a five-star recommendation]
I stayed at Atour for nine days during the Spring Festival. I felt warmed by the service and details of Atour! The hotel has convenient parking, the underground parking lot is spacious and free, and self-driving tours are completely stress-free. The daily breakfast is very sincere, not only with authentic beef noodles and freshly ground coffee, but also with rich Chinese and Western choices, and the ingredients are fresh and delicious. The room design is simple and warm, the bedding is comfortable and helps sleep, and the sound insulation effect is excellent. It is still quiet and comfortable to stay for many days. The front desk and room service are warm and thoughtful, and they actively provide travel guides. During the festival, they also gave small gifts. The geographical location is superior, and the surrounding dining and shopping are convenient. It is also convenient to go to scenic spots such as the Yellow River Scenic Line. Both the hardware facilities and soft services are far beyond expectations, and the cost performance is extremely high. I will definitely choose Atour again when I come to Lanzhou next time!"

GGuest UserThis is a very nice hotel right on a pedestrian street lined with food stalls and restaurants. At night mobile food carts get rolled in and positioned along the center of the street adding yet more food choices! In addition to this, just a short walk away is a huge pedestrian shopping street along with an underground shopping complex accessed through street level escallators.
Although the hotel is on a pedestrian street it is really just about 3/4 block from a street with vehicle access. This hotel is a bit difficult to find though, because individual street address numbers are difficult to find. The best thing is to look for a huge Hanting Hotel logo on the right side of the pedestrian street as you head up from the traffic street along the river. The sign is blue with a white horse! The entrance to the hotel itself looks more as if you are entering a coffee shop because of the street entrance signage. But power past all the tables for people having coffee, and you can find the hotel front desk at the back.
As mentioned before, the hotel is quite close to the Yellow River and just a short walk to the ”Iron Bridge” (AKA Zhongshan Bridge) and all that neighborhood offers!
One drawback to the hotel is that to get into the entrance there are some narrow steps. Level entrances are always best!
Yet, I would definitely stay in this hotel again! (And when you are in Lanzhou, be sure to try Lanzhou Beef Noodles!)

AAnonymous UserPicking this hotel is the right decision. The overall stay experience is very satisfactory! It is extremely suitable for my needs.
1. The hotel is conveniently located, only 15-20 minutes drive from the airport, which is a blessing for passengers on early and late flights, without worrying about the traffic problem of catching the plane;
2. The service at the front desk is considerate and warm, Miaomiao is warm and thoughtful and takes the initiative to greet, and the communication is pleasant😃
3. The room is large and clean, and it is very comfortable to live in, which adds a lot to this trip.
Overall, this hotel is not only in a great location, but also has a good service. It is highly recommended to friends who need to catch a flight and pursue comfortable accommodation!

WWWYy997First of all, this hotel has a good location, very close to the railway station and commercial areas. The hotel environment and room layout are very suitable for business trips. The sound insulation between rooms is very good. It is on a high floor and completely isolated from the outside noise. It is very friendly to people like me who prefer a quiet environment. The breakfast buffet is also very rich. I am also very grateful to the front desk staff of 049 Wang Zhiyuan for his attentive service. I will come again next time.

The location is super convenient with excellent transport links and plenty of food options nearby. They even gave me a free late check-out, which was a really thoughtful touch.

There are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, giving it a lively, local feel. The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the bedding was comfortable, allowing me to get a good rest after a busy day. The staff were warm and attentive, always willing to help, and the front desk service, in particular, was very professional and efficient. It was a very pleasant stay, and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Jinglanzhou.

GGuest UserThe staff were very helpful and friendly. They helped me order takeaways online and navigate the apps. The were also very quick to respond if there were issues. Only thing I would say is that the hotel is supposed to be non-smoking (that’s what I was told), but on multiple occasions I could smell smoke in the bathroom through the vent (very strong). I made a complaint and they said they spoke to the guest but unfortunately this didn’t stop. Cleanliness could have been better as when I first had the room, the room did smell smoky including the pillows. I had to re-clean the wood in the room myself with towel and soap since it was dusty and had a strong smoke smell so I couldn’t sleep and it gave me a headache. I think the rooms need a deep clean if you are to get rid of smoke smell from the bed, furniture, wood. You have your own aircon which is good so there is not a central system.

The staff were friendly and helpfull, the scenery was spectacular, and the accomodation was very comfortable.
Highly recommend staying here ! dinner was available via ordering from a menu to a local restaurant which the staff organised.
Wifi was available, and the mobile phone coverage was good also.
Excellent walking paths nearby from the hotel.
