Taitung Hotels with Wifi

"Pool was under maintenance during the period of stay. Location though at night market was still a distance away from railway station. Taxi fare abt TWD220. There was hotel shuttle service but no clear instructions on how to book in advance. Info not available on trip.com. Concierge staff did not readily offer the service also. Was told only available to members. Not for 3rd party booking. Am disappointed. Room was spacious. 2 queen size beds. But toilet and bathroom were small. Head will hit the door if I sit at toilet bowl and lean just a bit forward. The bathroom door hits the rain shower head, so if not notice, and open the door with force may break the glass door. Yellow lights in the room were very dim. Make ambience cozy and classy but very straining to the eyes. 2 out of 3 laundry machines out of order. Laundry powder did not dispense from vending machine. Hv to change coins at lobby when laundry is at 6th floor. Overall, not quite up to expectations unfortunately."

"I was already deeply attracted by the unique and tranquil environment of the hotel, but I was even more surprised to find a 'traveler's storybook' in the room! Reading the various sad, happy, or bewildered stories left by past guests who stayed in the same room deeply moved me to tears. I gained immense energy from your stories. Thank you, hotel, for this warm and thoughtful gesture. If I ever have the chance to travel solo to Taitung again, I will definitely stay here once more!! 🥹"

"Really enjoyed our stay at Norden. Facilities are ‘hostel’ like so you have access to kitchen, laundry, cafe and even a common area with books and tea area. We got upgraded to a family room which had two huge king beds and a pretty good view. The room was comfy and well equipped. Location super prime - lots of food and a wet market just down the road. Night market is nearby but it wasn’t open on Tuesday so we didn’t visit. Basically everything was walking distance since Tai Tung is so small. Reception is also very friendly and helped us call for a taxi to the train station which came in just 5mins. Overall would recommend and will be back again."

"Note that there’s NO LIFT in this inn so if you have heavy luggages or bags, do consider again. Booked room with 3 Futon beds for family of 5 but no space to open up luggages to pack actually. With 1 luggage open, not much space to walk anymore. The kids did enjoy the futon bed concept and aircon was working well. Clean beds, clean sheets nonetheless. There’s a small kitchen with microwave that is common space for all rooms, and some space to eat if you need to eat in. Some parking space along the roadside, or garden area nearby. 24hr laundromat is 5 mins walk to the main road. It’s an inn so have to manage expectations of space."

"The hotel is right in Taitung City, and it has a beautiful rooftop pool. You can easily spend an entire afternoon relaxing up there. Tiehua Village is right next door, which is great, though it's currently under renovation. The room itself was very nice, but the bathroom was a bit too small. The view was excellent. Would definitely visit again if I had the chance."

"I had a pleasant stay at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel 4 years ago, so thought I'd try Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II this time, as they are located near to each other, very close to the bus station and Tiehua Village. This is a great location to explore the city. However, other than the superb location and the bigger room, there isn't much else to love about this hotel. There was literally no service at this branch. Staff were not welcoming and unlike other hotels in Taiwan, they do not greet guests when you are at the lobby. I also never saw any of them smile at guests. In fact, on my first day of check-in, I was blatantly told to check in at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel instead, because ”the hotel is closed for the day”. When I asked how come I was not informed earlier, the staff answered ”because you don't have a Taiwan mobile number”. This is absurd to me, isn't there the Trip.com messaging service where you can contact guests? Very disappointed with the way they handle such cases, no apology at all, and just gives a very transactional feeling. The only time I encountered a staff who greeted me was at the breakfast restaurant. Room amenities and facilities look like they need proper maintenance, and the windows were so dirty. The bed was also not very comfortable to sleep on. Lastly, I know Taiwan hotel breakfasts are usually not so nice compared to eating out in the breakfast shops, but the quality of the breakfast was really bad. Seasonal fresh fruit selection was only watermelon on 1 morning, and guava + watermelon on another. In conclusion, very disappointed with my stay here this time. Will definitely think twice about returning to Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II the next time I visit Taitung again."

"The hotel switched my reservation to another hotel without prior notification due to its renovation process. It added extra complications to our experience. The hotel was not bad and location was good too. It’ll be better if the communication was handled in a more efficient manner."

"Located right next to the Music Village and the bus station which was super practical. I didn’t know it would be a self check-in, so it was a little hard to find but the process itself was easy. The dorm bathroom setup wasn’t great, especially because the shower makes the whole floor wet, not fun when you’re using the toilet. The sinks are outside the bathroom which is nice when it’s occupied but makes a lot of sound for others in the room. The bed was comfortable enough and the curtains and individual charging area with a light were nice. I found it annoying to go to the centre nearby to pick up the locker key but it’s also where I stored my luggage, which felt quite secure since they put a tag on it. I didn’t realize there wasn’t any elevator, so I had to drag my luggage to the third floor. There’s a water station in the “lobby” area on the first floor. It was very inexpensive for one night!"

"Had a fantastic experience! We really enjoyed the hotel's public pools, which offered a variety of temperatures. The 28-degree section was perfect for swimming. The in-room hot springs were also incredibly relaxing; the water stayed warm much longer than regular water. Plus, there were plenty of activities happening in the hotel lobby."

"A really nice guesthouse! 10 minutes walk from the train station of Taitung. We liked the cozy atmosphere and decoration. There is a self-service coffee machine and a kitchen area if you need to cook something. The staff was really helpful and friendly and we had no problem to leave our luggage after check out time!"
