"When choosing a place to stay in Tengchong, I picked a B&B that offered a bathtub, and I was really impressed with everything from the design of the hotel to the cleanliness of the room. Both the owner and the housekeeper were incredibly polite and accommodating. We needed ice, and the owner's wife immediately made some using their ice machine. When we didn't feel like driving out for dinner, the owner recommended a mushroom soup restaurant not far from the B&B, which was absolutely delicious and a great tip! 👍 I would definitely recommend this place to friends visiting Tengchong in the future."

"The family suite at Yuzhou Hotel is nestled in the heart of Tengchong, just 500 meters from Tengchong Pedestrian Street. Tengchong is surrounded by mountains on all sides, and the floor-to-ceiling windows of the hotel offer a picturesque view, like a traditional Chinese landscape painting. The design blends Eastern Zen aesthetics with modern simplicity, creating a tranquil and stylish atmosphere that makes you instantly forget the hustle and bustle of city life. The front desk staff provided delightful service with warm smiles, making us feel right at home. We received a welcome fruit platter upon check-in, and the service throughout our stay was attentive and polite without being intrusive. The housekeeping staff meticulously cleaned our room every day. Any requests made to the front desk were promptly addressed. As for the hot spring experience, our room was conveniently located next to an outdoor hot spring pool. The water quality is genuine hot spring water! After a soak, our skin felt incredibly smooth, and we experienced a significant sense of relaxation. The public hot spring area offers various functional pools, all clean with well-managed crowd control, ensuring good privacy. This was definitely the most worthwhile part of our trip – enjoying a warm spring bath under the starry sky. The breakfast quality was decent, served semi-buffet style, with a rich selection of both Chinese and Western options, as well as local specialties like Yunnan rice noodles, providing a great start to the day. The room itself was spacious and elegantly designed. The bedding was super soft and comfortable, ensuring a dreamless night's sleep until morning. Most importantly, the soundproofing was excellent, guaranteeing absolute quiet."

The airport shuttle service was excellent, and they even helped with our luggage, which was a great relief given how difficult the ancient town's roads are to navigate. The room itself was very spacious and quiet, and the oversized bathroom was a real treat, featuring a double vanity and a smart toilet. All the facilities were top-notch! "What a pleasant surprise this hotel was! It's absolutely beautiful, with a lovely oriental cultural vibe. All the accommodations are individual villas. The large suite was fantastic, with two bedrooms, a living room, and even three bathrooms – amazing! The hotel's public areas are stunning, and the landscaping is very well done. The hot springs are definitely worth a visit. Breakfast offered delicious local snacks that are a must-try. Plus, there were various complimentary snacks, welcome fruits, and a fully stocked minibar every day, and even a goodnight milk service in the evenings. "This guesthouse is truly thoughtful. We had such a great time exploring the old town that we decided to stay another night before leaving, looking for a place with a nice atmosphere, and that's how we found this one.
The location is right at the entrance of the old town, no hills to climb, making it super convenient for coming and going.
The courtyard is elegant and features a public garden, a fireplace, a tea table, and even a desk for calligraphy practice. In the front hall, there are also qipaos available for guests to try on and take photos.
We also enjoyed a hand-drip coffee, and the coffee shop itself was very relaxing.
Since we had to leave early the next day and would miss breakfast, I mentioned it to the owner. To our surprise, we immediately received a generous assortment of snacks, including milk, bread, and even fruit. We are truly grateful! 😊"

I couldn't stop smiling as soon as I entered the room.
Every detail was so beautiful. I kept thinking, ”You get what you pay for.”
I took a shower and did laundry first.
Then I took a nap.
Afterwards, I read in the rocking chair.
I burned incense and drank tea at the tea table.
I waited quietly for the sunset.
At sunset, the afterglow filled the room. No wonder the room is called ”Sunset Melting Gold.”

"The pick up service was-very good. The driver Xiao Mao was very friendly to give me a lot of information about the city on the way to the hotel. All the staffs at the front desk were very helpful too.I liked very much the breakfast but it was a-pity that the hotel did not serve dinner.lt caused me problem to search restaurant for food especially during raining nights. As the road in front the hotel was under construction, it made me to walk in the muddy path. I loved and appreciated the good services provided by the hotel, and the sweet fungi soup served at about 8:30pm every night was really enjoyable. As l am 80 years old now, l may not have chance to visit again but l will surely recommend the hotel to my friends if they come to Tengchong next time."

"As a black diamond, I have always had high requirements for the hotel, and this one is really outstanding. The overall design and viewing experience are full, and the hardware configuration is top-notch: Dyson HD16, Smeg kettle, Lede flying wing mattress, all know the grade. Whether it is self-staying or taking pictures, it is very suitable, the transportation is also convenient, and the travel is very convenient. I especially recommend the hotel hot spring. After the experience, I understand the origin of the ”true” word in the name. "This newly opened hotel boasts excellent surroundings and top-notch facilities. My parents particularly loved the architectural style, which is why we chose to stay for several days. During the Chinese New Year, the hotel was fully booked, and rooms were scarce. However, front desk staff member Leo and Assistant General Manager Mr. Luo went above and beyond, even at 10 PM, to help us communicate with the booking platform and resolve our issues. They truly made us feel at home. Although we couldn't book a table for the New Year's Eve dinner, the restaurant staff patiently helped us coordinate, and the two meals we had there were delicious. The breakfast buffet was also great, with a good selection of classic options. I don't usually opt for Wyndham brand hotels, but this one is truly impressive and satisfying. Highly recommended!"

GGuest UserThis stay was fantastic and I highly recommend it to everyone! Our host, Minsu, was very welcoming and personally picked us up at the Ginkgo intersection. He also gave us plenty of recommendations for nearby attractions. The room was decorated in a simple and sophisticated style, very clean, and comfortable. Their large, high-definition TV was perfect for watching a movie in bed after a bath. The location is also great; Ginkgo King is just a five-minute walk away. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I'd definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserDuring our two weeks travel in Yunnan with our parents and kids, this guesthouse was the biggest surprise of the trip! It was incredibly comfortable and superb clean for all six of us — from the elderly to the little ones, everyone absolutely loved it. My parents couldn’t stop raving about how thoughtful and cozy it was, saying it’s the best place they've ever stayed.
The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, every little detail was taken care of — whether it was travel tips, food recommendations, or little thoughtful touches, we truly felt at home. Their hospitality made the whole trip smoother and even more enjoyable.
The guesthouse itself is beautifully designed, with unique and creative touches in every corner — we couldn’t stop taking photos! The rooftop view was especially stunning, with breathtaking sunrises and sunsets that looked like paintings. Our whole family went up there every day; we didn’t want to miss a single moment of the scenery.
If you’re coming to Heshun, you have to stay here! The environment, service, and warmth of the hosts are all top-notch. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality travel experience — we’ll definitely be back next time!

Location: The taxi positioning is accurate. Behind the official hotel, there is a very quiet homestay area, and takeaways can be delivered.
Environment: clean, warm, emotional, willing to work hard in the details, sincerity is the boss's hospitality, every time I meet, I will greet you warmly ～
Facilities: The twin room has a large space, the bedding is super comfortable, the pillows kill most hotels in seconds, the central air-conditioning ＋ wall-mounted air-conditioning, and the toiletries are dreamed back to college time in one second. Weight scales, sewing boxes, nail clippers, floss, masks, earplugs, etc. are available! There are two washing machines and one dryer in the common area, which can be used by self-service.
Service: Drinking water, soda, snacks, fruit are all provided free of charge. Breakfast is served in the small restaurant with sour seeds and sugar. There are freshly cooked bait silk and rice noodles. The coffee is delicious! Please ask the boss to arrange a car drop-off in advance, and received a warm souvenir on the day of departure.～
Because the itinerary is tight, we basically leave early and return late, and we have not been able to experience the slow life of the homestay, but it does not affect my determination to strongly recommend Fengli!

The owner recommended local restaurants that are popular with residents, and the food was excellent. A special thumbs-up to the owner for helping us book a hot spring package at a discounted price—it was great value for money. We also received a small farewell gift when we checked out, which was a nice touch.
However, the only negative experience—and the biggest drawback—was the unstable hot water in the shower. In winter, the hot water suddenly turned cold halfway through a shower. Although the owner responded promptly and helped adjust the water pressure, the temperature later became unstable again, suddenly turning extremely hot and almost scalding. We hope this can be improved in the future to make the stay even more comfortable.

The hotel offers great value with a high standard. Everything is clean, comfortable, and well maintained.
One of the most special things about this place is the onsen (hot spring). The water comes from a real natural hot spring, which makes the experience very authentic and relaxing.
We truly appreciate the warm hospitality from the owner and his wife. They even promised to come visit us in the future, which shows how genuine and friendly they are. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a high-quality stay with wonderful hosts and a real hot spring experience.

XXjtudouThis trip was with my sister and niece! The guesthouse was conveniently located near the scenic area entrance, making it easy to get in and out! Because it was at the end of a small alley, the environment was quiet, conducive to rest! The host personally picked up and dropped off our luggage at the scenic area entrance! Breakfast was healthy and delicious every day! We ordered the rice noodles in soup every day! They were very responsive to guests' requests! Finally, I'd like to suggest they be a little more proactive in their service!

I was a little apprehensive after seeing a review that gave the hotel low ratings for its facilities. But after staying there, I must clear up my doubts – it was a complete ”misunderstanding”! The experience was absolutely fantastic!
Our room was fully equipped with everything you could need: a dry sauna, a private hot tub, a dehumidifier, and underfloor heating. Everything was brand new and high-end. Let me focus on the ”misunderstood” dry sauna: Upon check-in, the butler mentioned that some guests had complained about the sauna being too cold and asked me to try it and provide feedback. Could that be true? They patiently demonstrated how to use it. The key is that after heating it for a few minutes, you need to gently pour water onto the volcanic rocks on the stove using a wooden ladle – with a ”hiss,” a wave of heat instantly rises, raising the room temperature to 70-80 degrees Celsius within minutes, making you sweat incredibly well and comfortably. I suspect the previous guests might have missed this crucial step.
The room's details were very thoughtfully designed. For example, the dehumidifier quickly dried the air after steaming, and the private hot tub was always ready for use with a stable temperature. The public areas were also stylishly designed; both the reading room and tea room offered instant relaxation.
This stay made me realize that a good hotel not only needs top-notch facilities but also patient and attentive service. Thanks to the butler's thoughtful introductions, we didn't miss a single wonderful experience. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates quality; you won't be disappointed!

JJIAJIAStayed in the ancient town for four nights. The location of the homestay is very convenient next to the large parking lot in the ancient town. The bathroom has a drying hot air and floor heating. It is comfortable to use a dyson hair dryer, with a large bathtub, and dry and wet separation. The overall service of the homestay is particularly good. There is also a housekeeper to pick up the parking lot in the middle of the night. In the morning, there is an aunt who prepares to pack corn sweet potatoes and egg snacks for us in advance. The aunts are very friendly and dry our clothes and put them back in the room. The boss brother and Miss Sister are also very intimate to recommend a variety of food and hot springs (Lotus Hot Spring). The overall stay is very worry-free, five points praise 💗

It's located on the edge of the ancient town, a bit far from the main area, so it's not recommended for elderly people with mobility issues. It's fine for young people, and you can even take a walk around Wild Duck Lake. The hot springs were okay, but perhaps because we went during the off-season, there were only two pools available, so the experience wasn't great when it was crowded. I highly recommend the nearby ”Mama's Taste” restaurant – it's incredibly delicious!

GGuest UserI originally booked a different courtyard, but the owner upgraded me to a Lotus Pond King Room. The view was great; it would definitely be even more beautiful during lotus blooming season. There's a stylish coffee shop downstairs. Transportation is relatively convenient compared to other guesthouses in the ancient town, located on the west side, accessible by car, though a bit far from the center. The wooden structure of the house isn't very soundproof; there's a small road downstairs where cars pass by, making it a little noisy. The service was excellent; they even picked me up from the visitor center. Coming back in the evening, I enjoyed warming myself by the fireplace downstairs with some black tea – very pleasant. The breakfast was also good. Highly recommended!
