Ulaanbaatar Hotels with Wifi

Located an hour and a half from Ulaanbaatar International Airport, this traditional yurt camp is set in a stunning location. The yurts come with wood-burning stoves and converters, and comfortable beds. The restrooms are spacious and clean, with instant hot water. The managers are very friendly and always smiling. It's a peaceful and relaxing place with no noise. There's also a large dining room.

I stayed at Grand Hill Hotel Ulaanbaatar for five nights in November 2025. During my stay, I experienced a serious issue that was handled in a highly unprofessional manner, which significantly affected my trust in the hotel. I had placed a sentimental hoodie in the wardrobe of my room. On the third day, due to very cold weather, I wore other coats when going out. I can confirm, based on all photos taken that day, that the hoodie was not taken out of the room. However, upon returning that evening, the hoodie was missing. At the same time, one of the two hotel bathrobes originally in the wardrobe was also gone. I immediately reported this to the reception. The male staff member on duty initially stated that it was “impossible” for the hotel or housekeeping to have taken any items. Only after repeated requests did he contact the housekeeping staff, who denied taking anything. He promised to review CCTV footage the following day. When I followed up the next day, other reception staff said they had no record or handover of the incident and asked me to wait until the same staff member returned in the evening. Only then was the CCTV reviewed. I was informed that the camera angle did not cover the room entrance, and no further investigation or follow-up was offered. Throughout the process, there was no clear investigation procedure, written response, or proactive assistance. Instead, the communication repeatedly implied that the issue might have been the guest’s responsibility. This approach lacked transparency, accountability, and basic respect for a paying guest. Based on this experience, I strongly advise future guests to take extra care in securing their personal belongings. In the event of missing items, the hotel’s response may be limited to denial and minimal follow-up, which is concerning for any traveler.

The room was spacious, and I was on the 8th floor, so the view was great! The location is also good, very convenient for walking to attractions. The only downside was that the breakfast wasn't very tasty. Many Koreans stay here, and the front desk staff can communicate in English.

The hotel room is spacious, and the location is good, about a 15-minute walk from the plaza. However, the breakfast was a bit limited and served in small portions. There are restaurants on the first two floors below, and the Chinese restaurant served up some delicious food – we ate there twice!

Ulaanbaatar isn't a huge city, and this hotel is conveniently located on a straight road to the department store, National Museum, and the main square. The price isn't bad either. However, I really have to complain about the decor. There's a mirror right by the door, and I scared myself several times opening it!

My stay here exceeded expectations! It's a hotel run by fellow Chinese people, which made me feel very secure. The location is excellent, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was great, so my rest was completely undisturbed. The front desk staff were warm and patient, check-in was efficient, and any requests were handled promptly. There's 24-hour hot water, fast WiFi, and all the facilities you need. It offers great value for money, is generally clean and comfortable, and is my top choice for travel. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

We switched from another hotel and found this one to be excellent value for money. The location is great, not far from the city center, and there are several supermarkets nearby. There's also a restaurant downstairs where you can eat and drink. A special shout-out to Narakas at the hotel – she studied Chinese in China, and we relied on her for any difficulties. She was incredibly enthusiastic and made our trip to Ulaanbaatar very enjoyable.

Modern Comfort Meets Breathtaking Wilderness 🏔️✨ If you are looking for a place in Gorkhi Terelj National Park that perfectly balances modern luxury, endless entertainment, and untouched natural beauty, Imperial Mount Resort is the ultimate choice. The Ultimate Host: The biggest highlight of our stay was the resort owner, who is incredibly friendly, accommodating, and speaks fluent English. Having a host you can communicate with easily in the wilderness is a game-changer. There is absolutely no need to join a rigid group tour; the owner quickly arranged a private driver for us (at our own expense) to visit nearby attractions like Turtle Rock and the Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex. It allowed us to customize our own itinerary and enjoy total freedom. The Vibe & Accommodation: The resort is beautifully designed with a sleek, modern wooden main building. We stayed in a Duplex Dome, which offered incredible space and a skylight for stargazing. The biggest luxury was the private, clean bathroom with excellent hot water and separate wet/dry areas—a rare find that completely redefines the typical Mongolian camping experience! The resort sits in a peaceful valley surrounded by majestic rock formations and roaming horses, giving it a dreamy, ”Little Switzerland” feel. Top-Notch Amenities (All Free!): Unlike other remote camps, this place keeps you entertained. Inside the main building, there is a designated Ping Pong room, a billiards table, and Karaoke rooms—all completely free to use! Outside, they have basketball court, volleyball court, a colorful children's playground, and BBQ pits. Incredible Food: The dining here blew us away. The included breakfast was fresh and relaxing. However, I highly recommend ordering their ala carte dinner. They serve a fantastic mix of Western and traditional Mongolian dishes. We ordered the grilled meat skewers with fries, a massive chicken Caesar salad, a comforting hot vegetable and meat stew, and traditional Mongolian Huushuur (deep-fried meat pastries) and Buuz (steamed dumplings). Everything was incredibly flavorful and hearty! Horseback Riding Nearby: There is a professional horse ranch run by a neighbor just 100 meters away. It costs 30,000 MNT per hour, which is very reasonable. Tip: If it's your first time riding, I highly recommend hiring a coach to guide you for safety. Verdict: 10/10. An unforgettable stay with amazing hospitality. I would come back in a heartbeat!

On my way back from a 14-day trip to the Altai Tavan Bogd, Turgen Valley, and Akh Su regions of Western Mongolia, I rested for 14 hours at Eagle Town, which is close to the airport, because the layover for my flight back to Korea was too long. Although it wasn't a new apartment, it was very clean, and Manager Roshan responded promptly and kindly to my text messages regarding the reservation and airport pickup/drop-off, so I experienced no inconvenience. With a Korean convenience store and grocery store nearby, I was able to cook meals and take a good nap while resting, which helped me relieve travel fatigue before catching my flight home. I will definitely stay here again.

Room: The hotel needs to clean the room thoroughly, not just the bathroom but also the carpeted area, and fix the base board moldings as well as the loose heater radiator which supposed to be anchored down to the wall. Although the room is carpeted wall to wall, I can see bare floor on the edges and the corners. Location: Not good, but at the same time not bad either. All attractions are within $3~$4 away which is more than I paid in other ~stan countries nearby. May be it is a Mongoljan thing, but for me it wasn't easy to hire taxi cab unless I am willing to pay the extra tips. The front staffs: Very friendly and eager to provide help. Not all of them speaks English, but it is not a problem since they translator app is widely available. Furnitures in the room: Very old, and there are wears and tears every part of the furniture. I don't know the other rooms, but the room I was given was too small for the furnitures to be placed in first place. Overall: I wouldn't stay here again. The over all conditions of the hotel was not even close to the pictures shown in the trip.com app. If you select this hotel based on the pictures, you would be very disappointed if you are given the room I stayed in. Avoid Room 602 anyway you can.
