San Francisco Hotels with Wifi

"Enjoyed seeing the pancake machine rolling out the pancakes during breakfast. The breakfast spread was what I wanted:high protein yogurts, fruits, pancakes and coffee. Location was near fisherman’s wharf and traders joe was round the corner. Room was big and comfy !"

"The location felt reasonably safe. Before checking in, you'll receive the door code from the host. After completing the online check-in prior to arrival, you can go straight to your room without needing to stop at the front desk. The cleanliness was acceptable. Each bed has its own locker."

"This hotel's location is truly excellent. It's a direct 40-minute subway ride from the airport, and you can see the hotel as soon as you exit the station. The environment is clean and tidy, and the rooms are spacious and spotless. The high-floor rooms, in particular, offer a beautiful view of the city. Although there are quite a few homeless people nearby, it still feels very safe as police are always on duty, and there are security guards in the hotel lobby. The guest rooms offer Wi-Fi, and there's a fully equipped gym (I didn't visit the pool as it's at another hotel). The key highlight is the convenient access to tourist attractions. The Cable Car turnaround is just a 2-3 minute walk away, offering direct rides to Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown, and Union Square, all within about 10 minutes. Plus, there are many Chinese and Western restaurants nearby! I would definitely choose to stay here again if I return to San Francisco, but it's best to book early, as the price difference can be significant!"

"All of the staff seemed really nice. From the moment we arrived and had a friendly greeting from the valet parking worker, to the ladies that we interacted with in reception. The room was nothing special, but by that I mean it had no outstanding features, or any distinguishable traits that would separate it from other hotels The concierge was friendly and helpful, and was very useful in helping us to plan our activities. And the hotel is in a good location to get to the pier or do the 'big bus' tour. But here's the downside. The gym is small, had no steriliser, or wipes, even though one of the rules stated in the gym is to wipe down the equipment after use. And the overall impression of the gym is that it could do with a really good clean from top to bottom. Added to that there's the washing machine and tumble dryer located in the gym. Yes that's right, in the actual gym. Now we were very happy when we read about the hotel having washing machine facilities, but we were slightly surprised at it's location. Another thing was the air con. We stayed in September and although the weather for the season was just starting to cool down after the summer, it was still fairly warm. The air con looked as if it had been fitted in the seventies and made a sound as if it had been running non stop ever since then. It was so noisy that we had to turn it off completely at night time and at different times during the day. On a final point we received news regarding the death of my partner's daughter, which meant that we had to cut our whole vacation short including this leg of the trip. We informed the front desk that we would be checking out one day early. We were not expecting a refund, for that day, but after being told by the member of staff that the 30 dollar a night 'destination fee' would be waived for the night that we were not going to be there, we later found out that this fee had still been added to the final bill. We still have no idea what a 'destination fee' is, but to be charged it when we weren't even at the hotel was extra galling. And what was also strange was the fact they didn't even ask why it was that we had decided to cut our stay short? Would you not be interested to know whether something was wrong with your customers stay, and to know why they had cut their visit short?? A bit of a poor end to a otherwise 'ok' stay at the hotel."

"The location is good as close to the conference venue. The room is clean and tidy. The breakfast included $ 30 credit only but the breakfast in the rooftop restaurant are good. Just when you check out you need to double check did they count the credit and did they wrongly charge the original price of the breakfast. The staff are helpful but just feel disappointed I need to work extra to email the hotel to get back the refund."

"ALWAYS A GREAT EMERGENCY PLAN FOR JOB HUNTERS. I WOULD DEFINITELY INVEST IN THIS HOSTEL AGAIN, IF NECESSARY."

"Staying in Tower 1, the room was a bit compact; we really had to strategize to open our 28-inch and 24-inch suitcases. There's a water dispenser on the way from the lobby to Tower 1, so you can bring your own bottle to refill. The hotel doesn't provide toothpaste, toothbrushes, or slippers, and there's no kettle either. Oh, and for first-time guests with large luggage, it's best to use the main entrance – there's a ramp which makes it easier to pull your bags. Definitely avoid the side entrance, which is the garage entrance, as there are no elevators or ramps there; you'd have to carry your heavy luggage up the stairs, which is very inconvenient. On the bright side, the hotel doesn't charge a destination fee, which is a big plus."

"The bed in the room is very comfortable and the sleep is very good. The transportation is also convenient and safe. It is just across the street from our meeting. I will stay at Zelos again next time I come to San Francisco for a meeting."

"This was the first hotel we stayed at in the US, and we checked in quite late. Unlike hotels back home where you insert a card to activate the electricity, it took us a little while to find the light switches. All the lights in the room were on individual lamps; there was no main switch by the entrance. The room had a charming, very American style, feeling spacious and clean. The bed was taller than what we're used to in China (we later realized this is common here), and the mattress was incredibly soft, feeling like sinking into a pile of cotton, yet it was very comfortable for my back (we later found that all hotel mattresses here are like this, very standardized). Our reservation included breakfast, and the menu offered various set options like A, B, C, and D. It was a very American breakfast with generous portions."

"Welcoming and helpful staff. Nice quiet room with a couch and spacious too. The breakfast had a reasonable variety of foods on offer and ok coffee."
