"We absolutely loved this hotel. It's location is great and the staff are amazing especially the front desk. There is no lift but the reception staff helped us with the bags. We paid for a more premium room but it was on level 3 so we asked to be changed to room on a lower level and it was great. The Georgian restaurant inside the hotel is amazing. The food is great and the staff were amazing. Will definitely stay there again."

"The hotel lobby service is very average. The bellhops who drove to the lobby door were not enthusiastic and did not greet guests quickly. You had to call them. The check-in staff were also not enthusiastic and inefficient. Shouldn't they be enthusiastic and quick when you stay for two nights and extend your stay the next day? But the woman was impatient and perfunctory👎; the price is not low for local consumption. A very small room costs more than 1,500 RMB a night. Hilton is a five-star hotel, so shouldn't it provide corresponding services? The hotel's hardware facilities are good, but the soft service training is very poor. Because the hotel is remote and similar to a park, the driver who picked us up could not reach the hotel entrance due to the road closure caused by the local sports meeting, and the hotel shuttle bus was needed to take us out. After the bellhops sent us to the parking lot outside, he didn't even bother to help take the luggage out of the car, and just stood there waiting for us to take it ourselves. I really don't understand how the staff are trained. The service is very poor."

"From the moment we walked in we knew we made a good decision. The owner (or manager) made us feel at home, and we felt welcome. This is a wonderful hotel, a budget rate for a good mid-range. The rooms are good size and comfortable, and very aesthetic, with a lot of thought put in. In fact, the whole hotel, especially the kitchen and eating area, is a small museum, with some really interesting items. The location can't be better, 15-20 minutes from both the Registan and the bazaar. The neighborhood (the old Jewish area) is quiet, with a decent grocery store nearby. All in all a very good opinion, which we highly recommend."

"Nice room and varied breakfast buffet. Great Spa area with pool, sauna and hamam. The aircon in our room unfortunately was quite loud, blasting at full force, and it wasn’t possible to adjust it or turn it down. We gave feedback and they said they would send a technician to fix it while we were out, but the issue remained. Overall a pleasant stay."

"Great 3 nights stay at Movenpick hotel with all amenities. Very convenient and close to the Gour Emir monument (4/5mn by walk) and the Registan square (15/16mn). A lot of cafe and restaurants around the hotel as we didn’t book the hotel breakfast. As we are lazy to dine out, we enjoyed twice diners at the restaurant Caramelle (really juicy manti and tasteful somsa & soups) We tried the sauna (hammam was under reparation) and the fitness. We had pleasant drinks at the pool bar. So we can recommend the Movenpick hotel at Samarkand. And the room rates are very affordable for a 4,5/5* hotel."

"Excellent hotel. The rooms and public areas are impeccable. It is felt that great attention to detail is paid here: fresh linen, daily cleaning. Even the busiest corners of the hotel, for example, in the restaurant or by the pool, are tidy. We were greeted warmly, helped with luggage and quickly checked in. The reception staff are always ready to suggest a route, order a taxi. The SPA includes a hamam, sauna, pool, and many procedures to relax. The pool is open until 23:00, spa procedures are by prior reservation, the gym is open 24/7. The hotel is located on the embankment of the rowing canal, the city center is 20 minutes by taxi."

"the front desks were very friendly and helpful. As a female solo traveller I felt very safe and secured throughout my stay. as I arrived before the check in time, I wanted to leave my luggage at the hotel and proceed with sightseeing and was offered if I would like to partake on an 'excursion' to help the students who will be future tourists guides experience and how they may improve. there were no extra costs incurred and we only need to pay for the entrance fee to the tourist attraction. it was a great experience for me as they were all very accommodating and cheerful. "

"We stayed at the beginning of January and really liked the hotel. Our room had heated floors in the bathroom, and the heating worked so well that we even slept with the window open at night because it was too warm. There were no strange odors in the room. The breakfasts were excellent, with something for everyone, and there's a terrace which I assume is also open for breakfast in warmer weather. I especially want to commend the hotel staff – they were very friendly and always ready to help."
