"Facilities: Very new and exceptionally clean. Ambiance: Tucked away in a quiet corner of the city center, it's very peaceful, ensuring a great night's sleep without any disturbances. Service: The staff are incredibly warm and friendly; they greet you with a nod and a smile every time you see them. They're also very helpful with most basic facility services you might need. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic! It's even better than what you'd find at some five-star hotels! Plus, it caters well to younger tastes, and with a super long breakfast window from 7 AM to 12 PM, it's perfect. Overall, the attitude is excellent, and it's definitely a hotel worth revisiting in Guiyang!"

"We chose Sophie for its convenient location, being close to the subway station and having a bus right downstairs that goes directly to Qianling Mountain Park. I was pleasantly surprised by how useful the in-room smart speaker (Xiao Du) was; my child absolutely loved it, constantly asking it to play nursery rhymes and turn the lights on and off. The hygiene was reassuring – the sheets and duvet covers were fresh, and the bathroom was clean with no strange smells. They even provided complimentary snacks and drinks in the room, which was perfect for keeping the kids happy. The breakfast being served until 1 PM was a huge plus, as we didn't have to wake the kids up early. I also asked the front desk for a late checkout until 3 PM, which they readily granted. This allowed us to explore the park with the little one in the morning, come back for a half-hour rest, and then check out at our leisure – much more relaxed. We'll definitely stay here again next time we bring the family."

"This hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a few minutes' walk to Qingyun Market, surrounded by tons of local snacks and authentic restaurants. As soon as I arrived, I headed straight for some noodles next door – there are so many choices, you'll never run out of delicious food. The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful; check-in at the front desk was super fast, and they were always quick to assist with anything I needed. The room was clean and tidy, making for a very relaxing and comfortable stay. With its convenient location, amazing food options, and thoughtful service, my overall experience was incredibly satisfying. This is definitely my top choice for anyone visiting Guiyang, and I'll certainly be back!"

"The hotel is conveniently located near the railway station. However, when I first arrived, it was hard for me to find the hotel as it is in the mall, and I had to take the lift up to the hotel. The staff assisted during the process of looking for the hotel, and offered to switch from non-window room to window room, which I appreciated. While the room was mostly clean, there were actually a few strain of hairs on the bed, and black ink on the bedsheet, which I thought it couldn’t be cleaned off. The room is also spacious and there is a table that I could use to have my meal. Something that I have to say is that the smoke smell there was quite strong and I could even smell smoke when I was sleeping. I do acknowledge that I booked a room where smoking is permitted, but I didn’t expect that the smoke smell from other room will flow into my room. Occasionally, I will also hear loud KTV sound at night, but I think that’s not a major issue compared to the smoke smell. Overall, I think it is still good, apart from the strong smoke smell which I really dislike."

The hotel itself was quite clean, and some of the small touches were thoughtful, such as providing four bottles of water and snacks. The staff seemed very eager to get positive reviews. Before leaving, I asked if there was anything I was unhappy about. However, when I asked a question late at night, no one replied. The price was reasonable, and the location was relatively convenient, with many restaurants downstairs. Another major disappointment was that breakfast ended at 9:30 am without prior notice. When I asked a staff member for breakfast, they told me it was already closed. I was a bit speechless. It's a chain hotel, so it's better than some private guesthouses. However, it felt more about flashy presentation and small perks than the actual breakfast and bedding. This is a very objective assessment."

"In conclusion: I do not recommend staying here. Advantages: It's right next to Qianling Mountain Park and Qianling Alley. The location is excellent if you're visiting Qianling Mountain Park. Experience the local market in Qianling Alley, and try the tofu noodles. It's also convenient for buying souvenirs. Disadvantages: The facilities are very old; it's a hotel converted from an old building, and the layout and decor are illogical in many ways. 1. The bathroom has a forced glass partition separating the wet and dry areas, making the shower space cramped. 2. There are no clothes racks inside; you have to put on and take off your clothes outside. 3. The shower water takes 20 minutes to warm up after being turned on. After the first person uses the warm water, the water becomes scalding hot. Adjusting the water temperature is inconvenient; it's too hot to the left and too cold to the right. 4. The showerhead is broken and hasn't been replaced; the water flow is the same as a faucet. 5. There are two pipes outside the room window, which cause noise."
