Guiyang Hotels with Bars

First time in Guiyang, we chose to stay in Huaguoyuan. The area is really lively, and we picked this art gallery hotel. It's not a real art gallery, but it certainly feels like one! 📍 The location is super close to the White House (the local landmark), just a few minutes' walk away, so you can enjoy the White House night view 🌃. 🏨 Every corner feels like an art exhibition, with sculptures, paintings, and designer furniture. 🛏 We even stayed in a Minion-themed room! Banana yellow colors, Minion pillows, and wall murals 💛. The attention to detail was amazing. The room featured a smart toilet and smart home control – you could just speak to turn off lights and close curtains. The bedding was comfortable, and the toiletries were high-quality. 💡 Little Tips: * I recommend visiting Huaguoyuan Wetland Park at dusk to capture the White House during 'blue hour' 🌆. The lights are on from 8 PM to 12 AM, making for great photos. * The hotel lobby and corridors are also very photogenic. Solid-colored clothing would look great there. * If you book one day in advance, the hotel offers a complimentary pick-up or drop-off service to/from the station or airport once! (Available from 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM).

Highly recommend! I originally booked a different hotel, but I was so put off by its appearance when I arrived that I searched for nearby options and found this one. I was a bit hesitant when I first got to the entrance, but once I saw the room, I was extremely satisfied! I asked if the two beds could be pushed together, and a very kind front desk lady proactively asked if I'd like them to be made up together right away. It was perfect for a family of three (and the sheets were a full 2.4 meters with no seam in the middle). Breakfast is served until noon, and they have Woeasy yogurt and Panasonic washer-dryers. They even provide disposable slippers for babies. After exploring the city center the next day, I personally think it's better to stay in the Guanshan Lake District for tourism.

Driving to Guiyang and choosing this hotel was definitely the right decision! They offer free parking, which saved me the hassle of hunting for a spot—so worry-free. The lobby is on the 23rd floor, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer an incredible view. The Fountain Square is right downstairs, and stepping outside puts you right at the Minsheng Road food stalls, with tons of delicious local eats. There's also a direct subway entrance through the underground passage downstairs, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The staff were warm and attentive, resolving any issues promptly. Overall, the stay was fantastic. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Guiyang!

Whenever I have a short business trip to Guiyang, I always stay at this Holiday Inn for my layover. The shuttle bus schedule is well-arranged, making it very convenient to get to the airport and eliminating the anxiety of rushing for my flight. The room layout is simple and practical, with a spacious desk and stable internet. It's quiet at night, allowing me to focus on work without disturbance. Front desk staff, Iven, provided efficient service, and the check-in and check-out processes were smooth. The breakfast selection is comprehensive, and the Guizhou-style sour soup noodles are authentic. It's perfect for a quick meal before heading to the airport, making it a hassle-free choice for business travelers.

The standardization at Hilton Garden Inn is consistently good. I've stayed at two of them recently, one in Lhasa and one in Guiyang, and they were practically identical in style. This particular hotel is located south of Jiaxiu Tower, and everything is very well-appointed. From the lobby, it didn't seem too crowded, which might be because the ground floor common areas are quite spacious and grand. The only minor drawback is that the elevators are a bit slow, especially considering it's nearly a 60-story building.

I stayed at this property 9 years ago when my kids were still toddlers and one of them is a teenager now. The service of the hotel remains as tentative and warm as 9 years ago. We upgraded to one of their suite rooms and I think we will book a suite on our next trip. My kids enjoyed the pool and playing chess downstairs from the lobby. This was one of the highlights of their trip. My wife had a nice glass of wine at the regency club we missed the happy hour drinks and food as we went to HuangGuo Shu for a day trip and the second day we had dinner plans with our family. Harris checked us in and showed us our room knowing we were allergic to smoke. He was very attentive and checked on us each day to make sure we were comfortable. Will come back again soon hopefully.

The room I requested was generally accommodated, but due to the building's design, the window felt quite oppressive. I discussed it with the front desk and managed to switch to a room closer to the road, which felt less claustrophobic. However, the traffic lights on the street did slightly affect the room at night. Since it was peak season, I had no other options, and this is a fixed hardware issue with the room. The elevator serves two hotels, so it can get a bit busy during breakfast, and it often gets stopped on the first floor. The hotel's front desk is on the basement level, so sometimes you can't get an elevator upstairs from there. Parking is quite convenient; even if there are no spots, they try their best to find one. I want to give a shout-out to the front desk staff, especially the young man who enthusiastically helped us solve problems and even printed study materials for my daughter. The service was very warm, and the complimentary coffee vouchers were also excellent – not just a token gesture. The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but the food tasted really good! They even offered late-night porridge and there's a laundry room. Overall, it was quite a pleasant stay! Hotel Experience Sharing This hotel is conveniently located in the city center. Its exterior boasts a modern design, while the interior decor perfectly blends classic elements with contemporary comfort. Upon entering the lobby, you immediately sense the hotel's high-quality service; the front desk staff are friendly, and the check-in process is swift and efficient. The rooms are spacious and bright, with soft and comfortable beds that ensure a great night's sleep. The in-room amenities are comprehensive, including high-speed Wi-Fi, a mini-bar, and an LCD TV, catering to both business and leisure travelers. The bathroom is clean and tidy, well-stocked with toiletries, making for a very satisfying showering experience. The hotel's dining service is equally excellent. The breakfast spread is rich and varied, offering everything from fresh fruits and pastries to hot omelets and bacon, all prepared to perfection. Furthermore, the hotel's fitness center and swimming pool provide guests with a great place to relax and unwind. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money. It's a great choice for both business trips and leisure vacations. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to the city.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right at the entrance of Qingyun Market, a must-visit spot in Guiyang. There's an abundance of delicious food there; you can just go downstairs and pick anything without worrying about a bad meal! In the evenings, we'd head to Qingyun Market to eat and explore – it's so lively with many unique shops. No matter how late or tired we got, the hotel was just a short walk back to relax! So comfortable! The room was clean and tidy, the breakfast was rich and varied, and they even have a laundry room and a gym. From the window, you can see the Riverside Park, and the Guizhou Nationalities Museum is just a few minutes' walk away!

The Anantara Guiyang Resort is truly a hidden gem nestled amidst the karst mountains and forests! The hotel gardens are lush and vibrant, blending Thai resort aesthetics with local Guizhou ethnic charm. Every step reveals a new breathtaking view, and the air is wonderfully fresh. The rooms are spacious and elegant, featuring an oversized bathtub, and the amenities are of the highest quality. The hotel offers a rich array of facilities, including an outdoor pool, the Anantara Spa, and a kids' club. There are also unique cultural activities like intangible cultural heritage tie-dye and Miao clothing experiences, creating a perfect resort atmosphere. Special commendation to our butler, Fanda! They proactively contacted us before our arrival to discuss our needs. Upon arrival, they assisted with check-in and meticulously introduced the resort facilities, dining options, and daily activities. During our stay, Fanda was incredibly responsive, whether it was arranging restaurant seating, providing room supplies, or offering advice on local attractions. Fanda was always patient, thoughtful, and meticulous, ensuring everything was handled smoothly. They provided attentive follow-up throughout our stay, swiftly and appropriately resolving any minor issues. The butler service was both professional and warm!
