In the Umekita area of Osaka, our hotel, designed by the award-winning Andre Fu, is surrounded by businesses, shopping centers, and restaurants. Our ideal location is within one hour from Kyoto, Kobe, and Nara. Our restaurants, fitness center, indoor pool, and spa complete your stay. The Waldorf Astoria Osaka stands as a symbol of modern luxury and timeless sophistication in the heart of Osaka's most vibrant and forward-thinking district, Umekita.Celebrated for its cutting-edge developments and dynamic atmosphere, is renowned for its dynamic blend of modern infrastructure and vibrant urban life with its forward-thinking fusion of business, culture, and shopping.A new era of luxury.

"Waldorf set the tone for the entire luxury hotel in Osaka, it deserves the highest praise. From the moment you step out of the car upon entering the hotel, the emotional experience is flawless. Upon reaching the reception area, the hot towels and tea are a first thing you'll find that sets it apart from other luxury hotels. This attention to detail is so thoughtful; it shows how much they understand that after transportation, travelers can perform a handwashing ritual, representing not only physical cleanliness but also a reminder of mental well-being. It's fantastic. The only suggestion I could make is that having someone sit down during check-in would be better than standing at the reception desk. Other staff members who left a deep impression included Yui and another girl who showed us to our room (I don't remember her name, but I do remember she taught me that Yui's name is Y and I; she was all smiles, in high spirits, and explained the hotel facilities very well, greatly reducing any sense of unfamiliarity as a new guest). Since we returned to the hotel quite late that night, we mainly went to the bar near the back entrance for drinks. The bartenders were very attentive, and the welcome drink was delicious. When leaving the hotel, the staff throughout the journey were attentive. Because our next destination was relatively close to the hotel, the staff at the entrance (I forgot his name, but I remember he was short and had braces; his performance that day was perfect) arranged for a hotel car to escort us there. The driver was Italian, very professional, and had an excellent attitude. Words of gratitude are insufficient to praise this outstanding driver. If a hotel's maximum score is 5, I would give it a 6. It truly embodies the image of a luxury hotel and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I will definitely return on my next trip. I am grateful for everyone's efforts throughout the journey."

"Very nice stay at the Four Seasons Osaka. Room is big for Osaka, very clean hotel with great breakfast. Housekeeping is perfect. The only potential drawback would be the 15 minute walk to the main shopping area, which is not ideal, but the overall hotel experience makes up for this."

"The location is extremely convenient. If you're looking for an old-school hotel vibe, you might find it here, but the facilities are really outdated – I couldn't stand them. The showerhead was in the bathtub and there was no separate shower, which was a real deal-breaker for me. I'll definitely stick to newer hotels from now on. The Japanese restaurant on the fifth floor was pretty good; I had sushi for a reasonable price, with 16k and 26k options available."

"This isn't a typical tourist town, but it has many hidden gem shops. SAKAINOMA Guesthouse does a great job with this, providing a detailed map. Upgrading the chairs in the lobby's common area would add a touch of luxury. The hotel is surrounded by filming locations for many TV shows and movies; it would be great if they could provide guests with a 'must-visit' checklist. There wasn't much meat available for breakfast. It would be a pleasant surprise if they converted two public bathrooms on the higher floors of the bay-view side. Overall, the price and experience are well worth it. Down by the train station, there's Yokozuna Ramen, Starbucks, Komeda, and a medium-sized supermarket, which offers discounted wagyu beef in the evenings."

Hotel near Shinsaibashi/Namba/Yotsubashi,Osaka
Centara Grand Hotel Osaka is a new landmark in Namba- a vibrant entertainment and shopping district with a rooftop restaurant at a height of 134 meters

"Having been to osaka many times, my friend suggested to try out a new hotel. Centara is clean and rather new. Room is small, common in Japan. Some distance to the Namba station. Opposite it has a big electronic shop. It does not allow any prior request of late checkout not even 30 mins. So if travellers needs slight flexibility, better go back to your usual membership hotel group like mariott bonvoy or GHA. These hotels in Japan do try to accomodate if travellers’ need arise. Or maybe this is because centara grand hotel does not like those clients whose booking is through third party platform. Our group eventually check out at 10.30am due to the inflexibility of such a minor request and change our plan. Though overall other staff such as restaurant staff or staff on G floor are helpful. Anyhow due to the distance of this hotel to spots around, we won’t come back to Centara Osaka."

"After staying at Hoshino Resorts in Hokkaido, I've always had a soft spot for them. I originally booked another hotel across the street with a bigger room, but then I decided to switch back to this one. You can pretty much handle everything yourself here. On the other hand, it's very no-frills with not much in the way of service (for example, no bottled water in the room, and check-in is strictly enforced by the system at 3 PM). But for someone like me, it was actually quite comfortable (no bottled water, but every floor has a room with a water dispenser, ice maker, and microwave. And check-in is just a matter of pressing buttons on a machine – isn't that a savior for introverts?). Finally, I highly recommend arranging your last or first night near the airport, depending on your flight schedule. It helps ease travel fatigue and allows you to squeeze in some bargain shopping. I certainly had a blast shopping at the outlet mall."

Swissôtel Nankai Osaka is a 5-star premium hotel located in the heart of city centre Namba, with direct access to Kansai International Airport, subway and bus stations across Osaka and Japan, and within walking distance to Osaka's major tourist attractions. Offering renowned Swiss hospitality coupled with Japanese omotenashi, the family leisure and business hotel offers 546 rooms and suites with Executive Lounge, dedicated parking and an array of indulgent options in its 5 restaurants, 3 bars and café.

"When we visit Osaka, we often choose the Swissôtel Nankai. It's a bit pricey, but you're paying for unparalleled convenience – everything from transport to shopping and dining is right at your doorstep. The front desk staff arranged for a room with an amazing view. The floor attendants were attentive and thoughtful. When it rained, the bell staff didn't hesitate to lend us an umbrella. The Teppanyaki restaurant on the 10th floor was absolutely fantastic. The only minor downside was that the shower water pressure was low and it wasn't hot enough; I think it might need some maintenance. Despite that, it will likely still be our top choice for our next trip to Osaka. We hope it continues to improve!"
