"The hotel's location is fantastic, close to everything, and they even help you arrange tuk-tuks. You can easily get a Grab taxi or food delivery right from the hotel entrance. The service is excellent. I left my phone at the hotel and was already at the airport, but a staff member brought it over to me. They also allowed us to have a late check-out, which helped us relax before our flight. The environment is wonderful, the breakfast is plentiful, and the beach is absolutely beautiful. The swings, hammocks, and the pool are all great – is the pool even heated? It felt consistently warm. Absolutely fantastic!"

"Lovely stay! Beautiful hotel, with fabulous pools and direct access to a pristine beach with stunning sunsets. Service was also really good. Tons of restaurants to eat within walking distance. Top class place! My only suggestion is to install coffee machines for breakfast - espressos and cappuccinos are not complimentary, only brewed black coffee is served."

"We had an amazing stay at this resort, especially the breakfast. There are many pools and a calm beach, and the gym is very good. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always smiling. However, there are a few things that could be improved: 1. The Wi-Fi access ends at 11 AM, which is quite strange and inconvenient. 2. You are not allowed to use the pools after your checkout. 3. You are not allowed to use the sunbeds with umbrellas after your checkout. 4. The beach is clean, but there is still a lot of “water grass” and the water is not very deep for swimming."

"We had a wonderful stay at this resort and truly appreciate the exceptional service provided by the staff. The front desk team was incredibly helpful—when my husband thought he had dropped his wallet in the car during our transit from the pier, they went above and beyond by checking the CCTV to help us track the car plate number. With their help, we discovered that the wallet was not left in the van. Eventually, we realized it had been dropped in a Grab car during our journey from Cebu City to Pier 1 Cebu, and we were able to successfully recover it. We are very grateful for their effort and support throughout the process. From the first day we checked in, the front desk staff noticed that my son was not feeling well. They kindly informed us that the resort has a nurse available and encouraged us to reach out if needed. On the third day, my 4-year-old son’s diarrhea became more serious, and the staff once again showed genuine care and concern. They arranged for a nurse to check on him, who provided helpful advice and referred us to a clinic doctor the next morning. This gave us great peace of mind as parents. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the pool—it was excellent. Overall, the warm hospitality made our stay even more memorable. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast at the resort, the purple yam porridge is very nice. All the staff were very kind, helpful, friendly, and warm. We would definitely come back again if we travel to Bohol. One small suggestion would be to add a gym room for guests, which would make the facilities even more complete. "This hotel is located on Doljo Beach, and it's wonderfully quiet. The water is crystal clear and calm, perfect for a relaxing vacation 🏖️. In the mornings, during low tide, you can go beachcombing and find lots of starfish, sea urchins, blue crabs, hermit crabs, and small fish. From midday onwards, it's an excellent spot for snorkeling, with plenty of clownfish to see. The hotel itself is great, both in terms of facilities and service. The decor is new and features a stylish Nordic design. The staff are all incredibly nice, very responsive to any requests, and they offer a delicious welcome drink. While the breakfast isn't extensive, it covers all the basic essentials. Getting to Alona Beach by 'tutu' (tricycle) costs 200P and takes about 15 minutes. I absolutely love this hotel."

"Staying at Oceanica was a great experience who wants to escape the bustle city life.... the views of the beach, garden and mini forests were quite calm and relaxing. If you want to get moving just head to the recreation and fitness facility... If you re hungry just head to the restaurants and bars, and enjoy the delicious foods and refreshing drinks. Room is clean and spacious.. staffs are courteous and nice. Will come back again, next time will tag along our kids."

"Wow - Super hotel. Best hotel I have visited in years. Staff polite, efficient and attentive in a polite way. Room was very large, with some free mini cookies and a few free juices. Food and drinks reasonable. Breakfast had a great range of food. The steak at the restaurant was super They even notified breakfast group I could not take milk. Lots of couples but as a solo traveller felt cared about. From start to finish flawless. Even twice a week one hour of free cocktails. When it rains the staff already start wiping down tables and once eases gardeners are out sweeping the leaves off the pathways to help maintain its beautiful appearance. Seriously impressed"

"This is a decent resort with good value for money, perfect if you're using it as your sole base in Bohol. It's a notch below a typical resort in Sanya, China, but still offers standard five-star hotel amenities. What sets it apart from Sanya hotels is the excellent snorkeling right off the shore. The hotel provides free life vests, so even kids can enjoy it (safety first!). There are plenty of fish in the water, and you can easily find starfish – in fact, we later realized starfish are quite common around Bohol. If you're looking for more diverse marine life, you'll need to take a boat further out. The breakfast buffet is standard, with a good variety, and always features at least one roasted meat daily. The lunch and dinner restaurants are a bit pricey for what you get, though the dining environment is lovely. There's also a quiet rooftop restaurant on the fourth floor above the guest rooms. Given its location near Alona Beach, a fairly bustling area, you can easily order food delivery to the hotel lobby via apps, and there's a shuttle service to Alona. Being close to both the airport and Alona makes it an ideal first hotel in Bohol. You can then use it as a base to book sardine snorkeling and island hopping tours, even directly through Ctrip."

The entire place is spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and truly gives a luxurious yet relaxing vibe. But what makes this resort truly exceptional is their top-notch customer service. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. A special shout-out to Ms. Mary at the front desk for coordinating everything so excellently. She made everything smooth and effortless for us, and her thoughtful assistance truly made a difference. What touched us even more was how the whole team went above and beyond to make my husband’s birthday extra special—even without us asking! "There is nothing like this on Panglao, when you live in the silence of the jungle, surrounded by nature and excellent service. Excellent breakfasts, when you order exactly what you want, and do not choose from the buffet from the leftovers. We did not have time to try all the breakfast options in a week. The Paprika restaurant itself is one of the best on the island, located on a cliff with a beautiful view of the sea. The service is ideal - you can correspond with the staff via WhatsApp, without having to call. Free transfer to Alona beach, for an additional price we took a trip to the fireflies, a tour of the island of Bohol and a boat for snorkeling. Meeting at the airport and return transfer to the airport was also for money (Attention! Now, to fly from the island, you need to have 900 pesos in cash per person, prepare this money in advance!). The villa itself looks luxurious and spacious, the ceiling made of many crossbars emphasizes the ethnic orientation, and the surrounding of each house with a dense forest with birds singing creates coziness and unity with nature. Of the minuses - I did not like the excursion to the island of Balikasag for snorkeling - early in the morning you swim trying to see dolphins, but the chance to see them is very small, on the island of Balikasag itself they let you swim only 1 hour, and then take you back to the hotel, although the hotel said that the boat is at our disposal and we can swim everywhere and as much as we want. I would also call the hotel's somewhat abandoned state a minus - the stable and spa center look sad, some villas from the outside look abandoned and covered with dry leaves. Since we were in the dry season, the area around the villa was dry, it would be nice if the lawn near the houses was watered, but this may possibly attract extra insects, which, by the way, were almost non-existent, despite the jungle surroundings. The staff speaks excellent English, is smiling and friendly. Thank you for an unforgettable week in a paradise!"
