"Very good for that price for those who is not looking for a much comfort. Room was too dark for us with lack of day light. Light switches were dirty - this is simply to avoid by the hotel and experience will be better. Clean bed, towels and a fridge as a plus. Very tasty dishes in their restaurant on a good price, we really liked it (grilled shrimps and a fish) compared to other we tried. The reception is very polite and attentive. The nearest way to the beach is 10 minutes but at the end there is a resort which will charge 100 p entry per person to a beach, as a plus you can use their wc and change rooms and showers. From this beach you can go to any part of the beach line and enjoy."

"Surely it’s very nice 5 star hotel, but still one thing you need to consider before booking. The beach is sandy and zones nearby are quite comfortable to stay in and have a rest on the shore. But if you’re snorkeling fan - not a good option for you. On the photo you can see what happens on low tide. Surely you need to wear coral boots (mandatory!!!) and walk a long distance before reaching point where you can swim and snorkel. Still famous aero plane wreckage can be easily accessed and seen underwater. Coral bottom of the sea quite poor on this beach. But you can see a lot of different starfishes."

GGuest UserThis property is absolutely beautiful. It’s hard to say what the best part of this experience was because from the moment we checked in, It was perfect. The meet and greet staff, the beautiful room and amenities. There was an associate Zevie, that took care of us like family. We were fortunate enough to meet the man behind the recipes and menu, Chef Julian. The food was excellent. I’ve never experienced blue Marlin the way he prepared it and the appetizers were also Prepared to perfection. Thank you Chef for making my fiancé‘s birthday dinner an unforgettable evening. We also had the pleasure to meet Danish Khan, The property GM and manager Carl. I felt like I knew these two amazing men for such a long time and now we’re connected like family. This Experience scored 10 out of 10! Truly five ⭐️ As I returned the next day to retrieve items I had left in the room, Anne from the reception Area Continued the five star treatment by taking her time and showing me she really cared about the customer, not Just talking about it. Actions do speak louder than words, so thank you Anne for you’re over the top care, attention and Quality Service. We can’t wait to come back.

JJennWe, a family of three (elderly parents and a middle-aged woman) came here. It's so beautiful! There is a shuttle bus to the beach in the city, which is a ten-minute drive away. If you take a tuktuk, it's about 20 RMB. It's convenient but in a secret place. We stayed in a suite with a swimming pool. It was more beautiful and full of sunshine than the photos. The room and the pool were very clean. Breakfast was at the Internet-famous restaurant Paprika by the sea, looking at the sea. The main thing is that you can go down to the sea. The hotel service is considerate and sincere. My parents were injured far away from the hotel this time. The hotel contacted the hospital and sent a car to take us to two emergency rooms. Lester and driver Bill worked overtime to take my parents to contact the hospital. I didn't have a very clear impression of the Philippines before, but this time I felt that they were so nice. Everyone was very moved. There is a big swimming pool and a horse farm in the hotel. I saw two cute horses walking around in the park. The green plants in the park are beautiful, and the various pools feel like heaven. Thank you for your care!

GGuest UserWow - Super hotel. Best hotel I have visited in years. Staff polite, efficient and attentive in a polite way. Room was very large, with some free mini cookies and a few free juices. Food and drinks reasonable. Breakfast had a great range of food. The steak at the restaurant was super They even notified breakfast group I could not take milk. Lots of couples but as a solo traveller felt cared about. From start to finish flawless. Even twice a week one hour of free cocktails. When it rains the staff already start wiping down tables and once eases gardeners are out sweeping the leaves off the pathways to help maintain its beautiful appearance. Seriously impressed

ZZeljkoGreat cozy hotel with great food in both restaurants, comes with a great service. The only issue i had was the pool seems to have too much chlorine which made me have the harshest eye irritation in my life from the pool water, lastly i wished the sea was a deeper.

GGuest UserOur room already had a double bed and a single bed, which was enough for three people, but when we checked in, the front desk forced us to pay for one more person's accommodation, and then added an extra bed to us. Don't you think this is clearly a rip-off? If you are a family, please think twice. I don't recommend this hotel.

AAnonymous UserWe had a wonderful stay at Modala Beach Resort! The place is absolutely beautiful — clean, modern, and right in front of a stunning beachfront. 🌊 The staff were all very friendly, polite, and always ready to help with a smile.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The pool area was lovely, especially during sunset — perfect for photos! 📸 The food at the restaurant was delicious, and breakfast had a great variety.
It’s a great place for families, couples, or even friends who just want to unwind and enjoy Panglao’s natural beauty. We’ll definitely come back again soon. Highly recommended! ❤️

BBarneysLocation is a bit far from Alona Beach, but the resort offers free shuttle services at fixed times (9AM, 12PM, 3PM, 6PM, and 9PM), which is very convenient. The room was clean and spacious. We were initially assigned a room with connecting doors, so we could hear noise from the adjacent room. After showing a video of the issue, the staff kindly accommodated our request for a room change. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, the other room we booked wasn’t ready by 3PM, so we had to wait about 30 minutes. They allowed us a late check-out though, which we really appreciated. Overall, a pleasant stay and great value for the price. Recommended.

EElizaveta VThe hotel is located in an isolated place, so it is very convenient to rent a bike or a tricycle to get to the town or to the nearest restaurant. There is a small private beach, but there are a lot of plants and a lot of boats. I loved the service - you can call the massage or manicure master, grab a drink at the beach bar, lie down near the beach and enjoy the service. They also provided me a bike rent with delivery. The room is in zebra style - very nice and comfy. The only thing I disliked - the room is very small, it is basically tiny, though it had a terrace which a view of the hotel stairs which I found useless.

When we checked in, the hallway was flooded because of the heavy rain, but they resolved it quickly. The free breakfast was okay, but overall, I can say that it's not worth the price because their rates are higher compared to other resorts.”
