Room amenities were basic; they didn't even provide cotton swabs/Q-tips, though they did offer disposable towels and toilet seat covers. 3. The smart home features were a nice touch. 4. Service was merely adequate. Honestly, in Guangdong, you generally don't encounter stellar service, and for a business hotel at this price point, it's unrealistic to expect much more. My expectations were low: just having someone at the front desk for check-in and staff to tidy up the breakfast area was sufficient. 5. A security deposit? I'm genuinely speechless. There's nothing in the room to consume or damage, so I truly don't understand the need for a deposit. It's been ages since I stayed at a hotel that required one! And breakfast – issuing breakfast vouchers? What century are we in? Having to carry a physical voucher to eat breakfast; they really need to modernize! It should be straightforward to confirm breakfast inclusion by just providing the room number.

This isn't my first time staying at a Fairfield Inn, and overall, I'm satisfied. Let's start with the positives: Front desk agent Joy provided excellent service, the hygiene was good, the room had great soundproofing, and the bed and bedding were very comfortable. Now for the negatives: 1. Facilities are incomplete and outdated. First, there's no delivery robot, so food deliveries aren't brought to the room, requiring self-pickup, which is inconvenient for guests. Second, the TV facilities are old-fashioned; it's not a smart TV, so you can't stream movies or cast your screen. Lastly, the lights aren't controlled by smart voice commands, and there's no master switch. This means you have to go around turning off each light individually before bed, and the bathroom light needs to be turned off at the door. 2. Room types are unclear. This time, I stayed in a Deluxe King Room. Since it's a 'Deluxe King Room,' it should definitely be different from a standard King Room, but I honestly couldn't tell what the difference was, and it cost over 100 yuan more. Plus, the room design is very strange. I remember when I stayed in a standard King Room before, you'd open the door to a long corridor with a small, flickering light that disrupted sleep. This time, I thought I'd book a deluxe room, but the toilet and shower face the bed directly. I'm not sure what makes this 'deluxe' or where the extra 100+ yuan went.

Pros: Close to Kanamachi Bay; Can see the side sea; I was quite satisfied with the cleanliness, but I found a cockroach when I woke up the next morning. I didn't expect there would be a cockroach. It might have crawled in through the crack of the door. The elevator in the apartment is also very slow. There were too many tourists during the Spring Festival and 3 elevators couldn't handle it. I finally took the stairs on the 10th floor. But the stay experience was still good. Takeout can be delivered directly to the door. The big bathtub was also very fun for the children. It is recommended to get a clothesline or something like that, and a place to put clothes in the bathroom.
