"Title: 'Next time I travel, I'll check the almanac!' We drove into the hotel around 11 or 12 PM. It was completely silent. The concierge had already gone home, and there was no one at the entrance to greet us. After finding a parking spot, I dragged my luggage to the front desk, only to find one staff member on duty for the entire hotel. I'd give his service a 4.5 out of 5. After checking in and going to our new room, I thought we could finally unpack and rest. However, the moment I walked into the bedroom, I was in disbelief. How could a hotel provide a room where all the bedding was scattered and piled on the sofa to a guest? Did they not bother to clean it up in time, or were they just rushing to leave? At this point, I wasn't angry or accusatory. I just picked up my things and, after some twists and turns, went back to the front desk. I politely showed them the photos and requested a room where "housekeeping had completed their service." The staff member then contacted his colleague, and the duty manager moved us to a different floor. After checking into the new room, I thanked him. Even though my husband mentioned there was some sand on the floor, we understood, being close to the beach. We really needed to rest that night, so we decided to make do. And even with that "making do," I didn't complain to Trip.com or choose to switch hotels in the middle of the night. What I saw next was an even more absurd "hotel room cleaning standard." There were multiple unidentified hairs in the bathroom sink. The ones on the left side were noticed quickly due to their position. The feedback from the complaint manager was a complimentary breakfast. However, being up until 2 AM, we didn't need breakfast that ended at 10:30 AM. He then offered a late check-out to ensure we got enough sleep. We accepted the hotel's apology, and he confirmed the dirty spots before leaving the room. Later, inside the other sink, we found the same unidentified hairs and fine lint, including in the bathroom, glass partition, and bathtub. We didn't dare to touch anything because we weren't sure how many places housekeeping had wiped with a single towel, how many times, or if they had used disinfectant and cleaning products, which could explain the condition we found. All in all, after waking up, we didn't experience their afternoon tea, nor did we stay until the extended check-out time. We left in a hurry before 2 PM. We didn't touch the hotel's towels or any of the facilities. We used the kettle to boil water to scald the sink. It was truly a terrible trip."

"The hotel location is great, very close to Ermalu Food Street, just a few minutes walk away. The sea view room offers a wide vista, though it was a rainy day ☔️, so it lacked a bit of ambiance. The hotel might be a bit older, and the decor style is somewhat reminiscent of older guesthouses, but the service is genuinely excellent, and it offers great value for money!"

"The stay was ok, but was disgusted by the breakfast service. Ogling staff, staring copiously at Mr as though they’d never seen a black foreigner before. It was so funny. It reminded me of taking a couple of my western friends to my Fathers village, the villagers got out to stair at then just like I was getting stared at. I had to beckon the staring staff to stop staring and please do their job by asking them to provide utensils for folks to be able to have plates, cups and spoons to serve their morning breakfast. This was so much an intriguing stay."

"The internet celebrity Sunset Surf Shop is really, really easy to take pictures of. You can take photos as much as you want without ordering a drink~ ❗The surrounding scenery is good. Check in at the hotel and take a rest (PS: The service attitude is really NICE) and the price/performance ratio is high. It is recommended to leave around 4 or 5 pm. The sunset will be around 6 o'clock that day, so you can leave enough time to take photos📷 ❗You can take a walk along the coastline. The colorful houses in the distance and the road signs are very photogenic~"

"The room's location was fantastic, facing the sea and away from the noise. It was well-equipped, and all the toiletries were disposable. There was no strange smell in the room either. My only request is that they fix the broken items in the room (the curtains and drying rack) as soon as possible. Even if they can't be fixed immediately, guests should be informed about the issue to prevent future complaints. The beach entrance is right downstairs, but we didn't stay there; instead, we went to the nearby Baihe Temple beach."

Facilities: The power outlets were easily unplugged... the hairdryer looked older than me... the curtains were broken... the laundry detergent was complicated to use, with two completely unrelated functions, no detergent, and no instruction manual... Service: The receptionist who checked me in on the 30th was very rude and didn't know anything when asked. I gave an extra star, but the friendly receptionist on the 1st made up for it. The experience was terrible, and it brought shame to Lavande Hotel."
