BBrian_034I stayed here for one night while visiting my wife's hometown. When I arrived to check in, the front desk staff seemed shy and intimidated. I'm a foreigner, and I think their English was very limited. They only spoke to my wife and never really looked at me. The room was very modern, in fact, a bit too modern. Everything was automated, even the curtains. I spent 10 to 15 minutes trying to figure out how everything worked. Unfortunately, the section of the city where the hotel is located experienced several power failures while I was there. Whenever the power went out and came back on, my automated room would reset to the default settings. I also found several hairs and what appeared to be a spot of blood on one of my pillows. Finding that made me question the cleanliness of my room. Ultimately, I decided to check out a day early and relocate to another hotel down the road, where I had a much better experience. (Please see the photos for the funny English spellings!)

LLrong LimLocation is a few minutes by foot from Shanwei high speed railway station. But it is far from the city center. If given a choice, I would go for a hotel in the city center to be nearer to the attractions. Anyway, the room is very good. It is loft styled, very clean, bright, fresh, and inviting. To stay in the room itself is a pleasure enough. The bed was super comfortable and I had to kick myself to get out of bed. There are two toilets in this room, which was new to me. There are a few shops nearby for meals but other than that, there is nothing else around. I rented a motorcycle to go to the downtown area for sightseeing. Still, it is not really cost effective nor convenient for a tourist like me.

GGuest UserI chose this hotel for a business trip, I really didn't choose the wrong one! As soon as I entered the lobby, I felt the high-end atmosphere and checked in quickly. The rooms are spacious and bright, the bedding is comfortable, the layout of the office area is reasonable, there are many sockets, and the charging is convenient. The hotel also has a restaurant, which tastes very good. The hotel's gym is fully equipped, you can go to exercise and relax after work, and come back next time on business trip!

MM531331****I absolutely have to give this serviced apartment five stars! The biggest highlight is its proximity to the Shanwei High-Speed Railway Station – it's truly a ”step out of the station and you're there,” saving so much time, effort, and taxi fares. The room hygiene was excellent, and the facilities exceeded my expectations: the high-definition projector offered a fantastic viewing experience, and the independent washing machine solved the problem of laundry during travel. Plus, the laundry room even had a dryer, which was incredibly thoughtful! It's perfectly suited for both family trips and short business stays – clean, convenient, and fully equipped. Definitely great value for money and an excellent choice for a stopover in Shanwei.

GGuest UserThis was my first time staying at a Courtyard by Marriott, and I was feeling a bit low on blood sugar because I hadn't had breakfast. The hotel thoughtfully brought me a banana, which was such wonderful service! I'm so grateful for their warm hospitality. The facilities are relatively new, clean, and very quiet, so I had an excellent rest. My favorite part was definitely the hotel's five-star breakfast buffet – the variety of dishes was extensive and delicious, and the setting was elegant and upscale. From now on, when I'm on business in Haifeng, I'll be staying at Courtyard. A big thank you again to the hotel staff!

SStuNZGood location close to the train station, but need to get a taxi to find an area with a good range of restaurants. Instructions and information pre arrival were excellent, made easy by the use of a WeChat mini-app. Arrival and entry was fast and smooth. Great communication. Apartment was spotlessly clean and in excellent condition, with good facilities. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom well equipped. My only negative comment would be that the wi-fi signal upstairs was very weak. Maybe a wi-fi extender or booster is needed? Other than that, it was ideal for a short stay. Very good value for money, backed by excellent service and a spotlessly clean apartment. Thank you !!

The location is perfect—close enough to the high-speed rail for quick and easy travel, yet tucked away enough to feel like a true getaway. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby, making dining out both convenient and enjoyable. The amenities provided made my stay comfortable and relaxing. Overall, it was a fantastic spot for a weekend retreat, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free and refreshing escape!

GGuest UserI would say it’s a perfect place for a big family or families to stay under one roof. I would recommend to others. The ktv room is as the photo shows with good sound system. The pool table is all worned out and not very good quality. Can only satisfy young kids. The kitchen seemed to have bowls and plates but not totally clean or new. Have stains in them. The rooms each have their own bathroom so no complain here. They offer disposable towels so you may want to bring your own. I complained about the dirty and smelly refrigerator and very quickly responded and got helpers to come clean it. Oh the mahjong table had some disfunction as some tiles were a larger size. The home is close to the beach so that’s nice! Overall, I had an enjoyable stay and would come again with big families.

The counter lady even upgraded our room for free, she helped us whenever we messaged her, sent us locations to visit and every time we had a question she was always helpful and replied very fast. The room was very pretty and clean , the bathtub was big and nice, the balchony was big and beautiful. I loved everything about it. Would definitely recommend this hotel and room to anyone visiting Shanwei .
