"HARGA BILIK & PENDAFTARAN MASUK Kebiasaannya harga bilik di Hotel The Lisbon sekitar RM 300± tapi bila dapat harga RM183± tanpa sarapan di Trip.com memang berbaloi. Urusan pendaftaran sangat cepat, mesra dan mudah. Tidak seperti hotel kebiasaan, staf receptionist The Lisbon memang wajar dipuji kerana bila kita sampai di kaunter, mereka dah standby siap kad bilik dan borang yg perlu diisi dalam satu folder plastik, jadi hanya perlu mention nama penuh, mereka terus beri borang utk diisi dan bayar RM5 utk heritage charge. Tiada deposit yg mahal lagi mengarut dikenakan. BILIK Sesuai dengan harga, bilik lengkap dengan katil berserta tilam yg empuk. TV ada Netflix, Youtube, AppleTV, Prime and so on. Juga lengkap dgn iron, coffee corner, hair dryer, safety box, bath robe dan tuala. Tidak lupa utk buat Muslim, sejadah ada disediakan di sini. Namun sayang sekali utk toilet, tiada botol kecil syampu utk dibawa balik sbg kenangan dan saya ada request complimentary deco for anniversary yg ringkas spt deco tuala tapi mungkin pihak mereka terlepas pandang email permintaan saya tapi The Lisbon menebus silap terlepas pandang dengan beri sarapan percuma utk 2 org SARAPAN Banyak pilihan sarapan yg tersedia meskipun dihidang dalam kuantiti yg kurang sedikit mungkin berdasarkan faktor bilangan tetamu. Namun, wajar dipuji kerana banyak pilihan dan sedap. Bagi mereka ada anak kecil, jangan terlepas pandang seksyen makanan utk anak² ada disediakan siap dengan kertas lukisan mewarna jika anak² bosan. PERSEKITARAN Cantik, ada kolam renang yg luas utk dewasa dan kanak². klasik sinonim dengan nama The Lisbon Melaka. Tapi mungkin kekangan atau kekurangan manpower, jadi ada few tempat agak kelihatan semak Overall, The Lisbon Melaka boleh menjadi hotel mesra keluarga jika The Lisbon kekal menjaga kualiti sampai bila². Repeat? definitely yes. Moga maju jaya buat The Lisbon Melaka"

"Weak Wi-Fi. The bathtub is old and plastic, while taking shower standing in it feels like it’s gonna break! Their windows haven’t been replaced in ages, really dirty, and they leak—traffic noise kept me up all night from bedtime till morning. Hot water, kettle, and AC can’t run at the same time; power tripped three times in one night. But honestly, the staff are awesome—super quick to help, really friendly, and the front desk is great. Just wish the facilities were actually decent… really hope they fix this stuff soon."

"I promise this review is honest and unfiltered... This was my first stay in Malacca, and I’m so grateful for this newly renovated hotel that gave us a sense of safety and comfort. We ended up extending our stay by 2 more nights because we loved Malacca so much, for a total of 4 nights. Here’s my overall feedback, hope it helps anyone coming to Malacca: - The hotel is in a great location, seemingly in a Chinese area with no run-down surroundings. It’s only about 2+ km to Jonker Street, super close—Grab rides cost just a few ringgit. Taxis are easy to get, and there are bell staff at the entrance who can help with anything you need. - The renovation is new, easily 4-star standard, and really comfortable. Clean, fresh, with all the essentials. Rooms with balconies are amazing—my partner could smoke freely, just remember to close the windows to follow hotel rules. There are waiting sofas in every floor corridor, which is really thoughtful, plus air purifiers and air coolers too. - Downstairs there’s a seafood restaurant, a Western bar, a noodle shop, a Sichuan restaurant, and even a Chaoshan beef hot pot place. We tried almost all of them, and they’re all pretty good. The fish at the seafood restaurant was excellent—pricier, but worth it for the quality. - The hotel service is the part I need to comment on. It’s inconsistent—some staff are lovely, others lack service awareness. For example, there was a Malay bellboy who was always cheerful and helped open doors every day. But the front desk staff were sometimes unenthusiastic, and calls to them weren’t always smooth. The staff at the pool also weren’t very friendly. - Breakfast is okay! The butter should really be replaced with animal-based butter 🧈! If the hotel is open to feedback, please improve the front desk and overall service to match the standard set by the friendly bellboy. "Well... the location is great. You couldn't find a more central or romantic place to stay. The room is also kind of cozy, definitely old-school. Great view of the river. The owner is incredibly nice. But... We booked 36 square meters. The room was 16 square meters plus a small bathroom without hot water... Taking off your shoes at the front door and walking barefoot through the house is also a matter of personal taste. The offerings urgently need to be revised. And the price is too high for what you get. But still, I'd recommend it for the right kind of renter. But I wouldn't book it again... Too quirky. Too expensive. And far too many barriers throughout the house. The toilet is designed for short people."

"Since we were arriving late and staying only a few nights, I choose this hotel due to it’s location at one end of Jonker Street. Location was as described and best of all, the actual rooms were in the back of the hotel (reception was the front side facing the street), so we had restful nights / no excessive noise from the street. In the lobby there was also a water fountain with filtered hot and cold water. The room itself was pretty big but basic an clean. There was a kettle, 2 bottles of water, 2 sachet of coffee, a desk area with chair and mirror, a rack to hang clothes and 1 side had a night stand. But please note there was no TV. We don’t really watch television while traveling so it was not an issue but it might be for some. Only slight downsides was the aircon was not that strong but and the water in the shower never really heated up that much."

"Location and service were excellent. Room and hotel were clean. Cons was the sound proofing not up to the standard as we stayed at ground floor and were disturbed with noises from the floor upstairs. No TV 📺 in the room as well but It was ok since we only stayed one night."

"I am Totally Impressed with the Cleaniness and The Spaciousness this Family Room Provides. The Toilet is Huge and Big and very Colourful The space it had is so Amazing for a family of 6. Me and Wife love the bed they provide even better than some of the Hotel around and the pillow have Different hardness and Softness. Air con was new and very cold yet still providing us 2 fan to better equip the room with more wind in the day time Location need to Specifically mention as it was really just 650m walk away as most of the locals is parking at Lot 78 area so I could visit the Jonker street night market easily Will definitely only want to book and stay at Lot 78 when I visit Malacca with my Kids and family again and will even want to explore booking the 2nd floor that 2 more special Room : )"
