"The hotel is in good condition and clean. I stayed for one night and wanted to rest after a long trip. I checked in late around 2000hrs and stayed in what looked to be like a new block that was still unfinished. This block did not have power until after 2300hrs. Apart from that, the staff are friendly and restaurant service is good. Only minimal amenities are provided in the room."

"The level of the staff Organisation is admirable, strict but fair considering the level of the service. I enjoyed the breakfast every single morning . The sky bar is just Woao with the saxophonist on Saturday night. Will be back l."

"My Blue Hotel is very beautiful and clean. The pool is the absolute highlight. From the pool you can enjoy the sunset super. At the beach there were always many free beds so you had a choice of place at any time. The staff distributed cocoa nuts on the beach daily. The staff is very friendly, food delicious and fresh, the evening program was varied, a very clean hotel. We would recommend it to everyone further. The location and the beach are superb. The hotel offers massages at a good price. We enjoyed the holiday in full trains. The internet was usually bad, however. In the room, there was little reception. This has potential for improvement."

"Amazing stay! I wished I had found this place before my previous booking. A mistake in my arrival date forced me to look around the area to find another hotel when I found Amaan hotels. Best choice ever! Great service, location right by the beach, breakfast buffet was a feast and the rooms have all you need after a day by the beach and pool. I would definitely choose this hotel again!! Perfect for all types of travellers!!"

"The hotel is located on one of the best beaches in the north of the island, approximately 1.20 hours from the airport. The property was very well maintained and well-maintained. There was security at both the main entrance and the beach area, so I never felt unsafe. The internet worked perfectly throughout the hotel, so I had a signal even on the beach, except for the last day when it didn't work properly for a short while. The room was quite large, as was the bathroom, and everything was in good condition. All the outlets had USB ports and could also connect different types of cables, so there was no need for adapters. They also provided complimentary water every day. Absolutely all the staff, including reception, security, the restaurant, etc., were very friendly throughout. The breakfast was very complete and lacked nothing. The lunch and dinner menus at the buffet restaurant were generally good as well, with daily variations. It also has an à la carte restaurant where the food was good and reasonably priced. The only negative thing to mention was that there could have been more lounge chairs around the pool, as there was room for more, certainly at least eight or ten. Also, the all-inclusive package had several restrictions, such as excluding premium drinks. However, some drinks shouldn't have been considered premium; brands like Absolut, JB, Bacardi, etc., should be the minimum. Finally, there were a few power outages that lasted no more than a few seconds, but that seemed to be more a problem with the area than the hotel itself, and it didn't cause any major inconveniences either. In short, everything was excellent, with some minor issues that were easily resolved, but if I returned to Zanzibar, I would probably stay at the same hotel."

"The hotel is very nice, it’s very quiet though and doesn’t seem to be very popular among travels choice here. The room was spacious, and clean, the staff were very friendly. The WiFi was great. The breakfast was good. A few options for cereals and fruit , coffee and tea as well as options for cooked meals. The location isn’t bad but also not amazing. The beach directly in front of the hotel is not the main beach, there’s a lot of seaweed but it’s only a 10 minute walk along the beach to the nicer beach area. 20 minutes of walking along the roads. Considering the price for what you get I think it’s overpriced but in all honestly so are all the other hotels on the island."

"Have a good time at Smile Beach Resort. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy. In the evening someone came to close the mosquito net and sprayed the mosquito spray. Breakfast and lunch are good, and we don’t use dinner because there are many restaurants nearby. I would like to mention the swimming pool and the seats on the beach, which are areas for improvement. They are very old and hard. The bed in the room is also very hard."

"My friend and I came for 3 days and 2 nights and it was great! We arrived around 9am which was way before the check in time and they accommodated us so well and gave of coffee and fruit while they set up our room early! The room was way better than what we ever expected. The AC was the first we’ve had in our whole month stay in Tanzania! The room was spacious, had patio seating private to the room, a great bathroom, and very nice decor! Breakfast was good and the staff was extremely kind and accommodating to any needs. The location is great and a 5 minute walk to the beach and a great restaurant called Maisha that we ate at almost every night. The area felt very safe too! Even at the end of our trip our flight was at 10pm and they let us leave our bags at the hotel while we spent our day at the beach, and even let us come back to change and wait until our taxi came! Overall a great stay for a great price, we were so glad to have gotten the chance to stay here!"
