Jessica w ChengLovely experience, the cabin was small yet homey. The only downside was that the bunk beds were quite cramped, as my children are a mere 6’6 in height. The bathroom had nice smelling amenities such as shampoo, body wash, conditioner. The cabin in its entirety was well kept and in good condition. The location was very close to the beach, and had many amenities that my kids would’ve found fun if they had been youthful 8 year olds.

Fantastic location in the Orara hills
The Santa Fe cottage is wonderful with an open fire and cosy decor
These are fully self catering cottages so you need to bring food but everything else is provided including firelighters and matches.
Order your Firewood in advance from the office.
Thoughtful touches like fluffy dressing gowns and a rug for cuddling up on the sofa much appreciated
The Owners are friendly and helpful thanks so much
Only small point is the WiFi (no signal at all at Santa Fe cottage and poor throughput even if you go nearer to the router).

Hotel location is good, close to the beach, you can watch the sunset at night. The room is large, clean, can cook, kitchen utensils are very complete,
The service staff is enthusiastic.

The apartment is quite old and has a dated feel, but it was clean and well maintained. The towels and linens were crisp and spotless. The location was convenient for shopping and dining, though it’s not next to the beach. It suited our needs well for a stopover, but I probably wouldn’t choose it as a holiday destination. The owners/managers were excellent communicators and very helpful whenever we had questions.

Great overnight stay – clean, convenient, and helpful staff
I was passing through Coffs Harbour and needed a place to stay for the night. Ended up booking a room at the Pier Hotel last minute. While the price was a bit on the higher side (likely due to the late booking), I was really pleased with the experience.
The room was spotless, very clean, and well-presented. Even though it had a shared bathroom, everything was maintained to a high standard. What stood out the most was the staff – they were very accommodating and made it easy for me to check in late without any hassle.
Overall, a comfortable and convenient spot for a short stay.

The location is convenient because it's only 5 minutes away from old and new town, also not far from diffent beaches. Staff are friendly and helpful. The motel is old so don't expect a luxury stay but room size is good. We saw some huge cockroaches inside our room one after another so that was a bit frightening. We'll stay somewhere else if we have options because the cost for our stay was nearly $300 a night.

The hotel needs to be completely refreshed, the room and bathroom aren’t well maintained, it is surprising that Accor Group allow such kind of condition. The water is sinking in bathroom, the fridge is dirty and hopefully the carpet is dark.

Hotel located a little way out of town with a beautiful beach.
The beach is the highlight, the fine, soft stone beach is perfect for playing.
The resort isn't actually a hotel, but a serviced apartment complex where rooms are also rented out. Most are long-term rentals.
And that's the problem, there is no service, none! The reception is closed and there is a sign saying that you should only call the hotline in an emergency. In all other cases a service charge of 50 AUD is charged. The fact that we were able to check in was only a coincidence because the cleaning ladies helped us. We couldn't reach the reception. There is also no place to eat in the complex, not even breakfast.

Basic hotel room, no air conditioning, although not needed this time of year. Older style and the room is small. All good for a one night stop while driving north or south. The small bathroom and shower were super clean. Strangely there is no basin in the bathroom but there is a kitchen sink in the bedroom, however there isn't a kitchenette. Having said that I would consider staying there again for the right price.
