MMushang_5.1Nestled amidst the mountains and rivers, the LUX* Chongzuo Guangxi Resort is a hidden luxury retreat, an ink-wash painting come to life among the karst peaks and Mingshi pastoral scenery. Every step here reveals a picturesque view. The meticulous butler service begins even before check-in, with our dedicated butler, Jolly, providing seamless support throughout our stay. WeChat messages were always answered instantly, and requests were met without delay.
As a top-tier wild luxury hotel that's often fully booked year-round, I was thrilled to snag a room during the May Day holiday. Bringing my family for a vacation, the hotel's secluded location instantly washed away all our fatigue. During our stay, Butler Jolly meticulously arranged various activities for us, including bamboo raft afternoon tea, countryside cycling, and starlit spa treatments. She also perfectly coordinated restaurant reservations and transportation. Even last-minute small requests were handled efficiently and promptly, demonstrating both professionalism and heartfelt care. Their service never felt like a rigid, process-driven interaction; instead, it was genuine and attentive from the heart.
With mountains and rivers as its backdrop and luxury as its companion, LUX* Chongzuo Guangxi Resort, built upon stunning natural beauty and animated by exquisite service, is a secluded paradise worth returning to again and again. It's the ultimate hotel for a private, healing escape from the daily grind.
I even managed to capture some 'life-defining' photos here. The room itself was astonishing; the balcony was so spacious you could dance on it, and every window offered a scenic masterpiece.
GGuest UserTo catch the earliest boat to the Huashan Rock Paintings, I stayed overnight in Chongzuo. My impression of the city was very positive. Checking into the hotel was a pleasant surprise; the handsome and beautiful receptionists were very welcoming, the room was clean and tidy, the laundry room was easy to use, the breakfast restaurant staff were attentive, the coffee was delicious, and the freshly made Lao You Fen (a type of rice noodle soup) was authentic. The underground parking garage was under construction and quite dusty, but parking was very convenient.

GGuest UserFirst time in Guangxi, and after a long search online, I settled on this B&B. I really loved the decor! The room was super clean, and the front desk staff were so welcoming and helpful, carefully explaining all the local sightseeing routes. Breakfast was good and nutritious – I was stuffed! Even though there was construction nearby, it didn't spoil the fun. The 'Sky Mirror' on the rooftop is fantastic for photos. I've already recommended it to my friends!
AAnonymous UserThe guesthouse is easy to find, has a nice environment, and is located right across the river from Vietnam. It's very close to the town's pedestrian street, where you can find breakfast and local specialties. The owners are very friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!

Very Good
CChuntianhuahuabanganbuThe hotel has a fantastic location, just a few minutes' walk from the food street. We had dinner there as soon as we arrived, and it was the first time I'd ever seen round avocados. The rooms were well-equipped and comfortable. We booked a triple room, and while I thought a family room would just have multiple beds, it turned out to be a suite. The children's room also had a large bed and tatami mats, which exceeded my expectations. The bathroom was separate from the toilet, with an open-plan sink area, so showering, using the toilet, and washing hands didn't bother each other. A special compliment was that the hotel even provided makeup remover and facial cleanser – so thoughtful! The minibar was complimentary 😋 The receptionist was incredibly kind and friendly, with a lovely smile, and she answered all our questions and requests. My friend later left her documents, including her visa for Vietnam the next day, at the front desk, and they proactively contacted her and delivered them to her room. The very same kind lady who checked us in the previous night checked us out the next morning; we learned she had finished her shift last night and was working the early shift that day – hotel staff really have it tough! The hotel has its own parking lot and a large, comfortable courtyard. All three of us were extremely satisfied and would highly recommend it.
GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Jinhua Kokusai Hotel, and I must say it was a truly comfortable and convenient experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, professional, and attentive to every detail, making check-in smooth and hassle-free.
The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and a great city view. The amenities provided—such as high-speed Wi-Fi, bottled water, toiletries, and a work desk—made my business trip both productive and relaxing. Housekeeping was prompt and consistent throughout my stay.
One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet. It offered a wide selection of both local Chinese dishes and international options. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. The restaurant staff was courteous and ensured the dining area was always tidy.
The location of the hotel is also ideal, with easy access to nearby shopping areas, restaurants, and transportation. Whether you're here for business or leisure, the hotel’s surroundings are lively and convenient.
Overall, I highly recommend Jinhua Kokusai Hotel for its excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and great value. I would definitely return on my next visit to Jinhua.
MMaitland GroomStay here! You can stay at the park gate. Drive up to it at night. Sleep here. He’ll go get your tickets in the morning for you and then you can be in the park at 8:30. You’ll arrive right as the people who have to bus in arrive but if you’re not in a group you can get ahead of everyone and enjoy the park and be on your way around noon

EEatPrayTravelLocation of hotel is very convenient for travelers who take the tourist bus from either Chungzuo, Nanning or from Detian waterfalls scenic area. The room we booked had a nice view of the fields and karst mountains. What a beautiful sight to behold indeed. During the day, it can get noisy with all the comings and goings in the village and all around but at night, it was very quiet. The rooftop terrace was very nice and not busy when we were there. Breakfast was enjoyable with steamed buns, corn, soup noodles and boiled sweet potatoes- a healthy start for a very busy day. The very nice lady in charge of breakfast offered us breakfast on our check in day (we arrived at 10:30) and made sure we had enough to eat before sending us off to explore! We had never met a B&B operator who was so caring and generous. On our check out day, even though she was still busy with guests, she rushed out to bid us a fond farewell and a safe onward trip. Front desk and cleaning team were all very friendly, always smiling and helpful. All in all, a very warm and pleasant stay at Mingshi Scenic Area.

MM512486****Xiangcheng International Hotel is generally good! Attentive service, comfortable environment and complete facilities. Whether it is a business trip or a leisure vacation, it can make you feel at home.
GGuest UserThe hotel is a little far from Chongzuo but you can hire a Didi for about 380RMB from the chongzuo train station. The hotel is located in a beautiful park where you can take a walk and see the 100 doors (I think it was called) and walk all the way to the border post 3. It's was surreal. Across the river you can see Vietnamese house and people. we waved. a drone showed up we left. To go to the waterfall we walked from the hotel to the tourist center. About a 45 minute walk. Not bad once you get there.
The hotel is old and starting to show the tear. You can tell it was once great but no renovations have been made in forever. The carpet had stains on it. not tiny ones. The little mini balcony was dusty. The bed was big but on the hard side. The towels are frazzling it was unbelievable. The breakfast , if you are not full on on Chinese breakfast its a no no. AND no coffee EVEN though the COFFEE MACHINE looked like it had just been plugged off. sign sating being fixed. come on .It's a 4 diamond rating but it felt more like 2. It's also smaller than it links in the video and pics. There's an awesome restaurant at the entrance on the right. It made a whole lotta difference. Highly reccomend eating here. And we did!Twice. Food was not bad. definitely order the ribs. The staff is nice especially the restaurant lady.
Would I stay again? NO
