GGuest UserThis time I went to Lushan and chose this homestay. From the moment the reservation was successful, I felt full of sincerity. The boss was very careful, called me in advance to register the information, and patiently explained other matters, which made people feel particularly at ease.
What surprised me the most was the high-speed rail station pick-up service! The boss personally went to the high-speed rail pick-up station, chatted with us enthusiastically along the way, and sent us to the high-speed rail station when he came back. This kind of intimate service really makes people so happy!
The room was clean and tidy, and the details were all attentive. The bedding is soft and comfortable, the windows are large, the ventilation effect is very good, and the sleep is particularly quiet at night. The bathroom also has no smell and the cleaning is very meticulous.
We ate twice at his house, the food was authentic and delicious, all local specialties, let us outsiders taste the authentic Lushan flavor.

GGuest UserThe hotel is quite new, room is clean and service is pretty good, every alternative day, there will be some complementary snack given to you at the counter. Whole in lobby waiting, the staff will offer you chinese tea to drink. Very attentive to anything happens in the room and will fix the problem as soon as possible. The con is food is limited in varieties daily, I would propose to get a fresh coffee grind machine, didn't like the instant coffee mix machine. Secondly, if your room is facing the main road, it can awfully get noisy.

GGuest UserStayed in a room in the main building. The hotel is in a good location, close to South Railway Station and not far from Shaoshan. The hotel facilities are good and the layout is very charming. The waiters were all friendly and the service was attentive. What impressed me most was the enthusiasm and thoughtfulness of Manager Li Xiu.
The food in the restaurant is delicious and the prices are relatively affordable, especially the restaurant on the second floor. The hotel is equipped with a swimming pool, which can satisfy those who like swimming and stay near Shaoshan. There is a gift shop downstairs for convenient shopping.
The disadvantage is that the hotel does not have a washing machine, which is still a traditional hotel practice. There are also no laundry bags for dirty clothes, but rudimentary plastic bags are provided.

GGuest UserThe couple running this renovated traditional home in Mao's home village are very attentive to guests' needs, even on the busiest day of the year, December 26th, Chairman Mao's birthday. My partner was coming down with a cold and got some ginger soup to drink. Additionally, when we screwed up our schedule and almost couldn't make our train out of Shaoshan, with no train available to reschedule, the couple arranged for the husband to drive us to the station for little more than gas money. It's up a slight hill from the other inns and allows one to get a bit of peace and quiet, again, even on the busiest day of the year, when Shaoshan is very worth a visit for anyone interested in Mao Zedong's legacy, given the number of Chinese people who show up to sing, dance, wave various flags and give speeches. Don't make our mistake and schedule the Chairman Mao memorial hall for a full visit instead of rushing though it. The exhibit is full of pictures and dioramas and has English captions for most things.
I also wish we'd had time to explore the pagoda on the hill behind the guesthouse.

GGuest UserIt takes only 8 minutes to get to Mao Zedong's former residence from the hotel. It is very close to the farmland across the downhill road. The accommodation environment is good and quite quiet. The navigation guided us to a small road that is not easy to walk on. The boss made a video call to teach us how to get there. He was very considerate. The hotel has a large parking lot, which is very convenient. The food is generous in size and the price is very reasonable in the scenic area. It tastes great. I wish the boss a prosperous business, abundant financial resources and everything goes well. By the way, the show is also good, and the ticket price is also very good if you buy it from the boss.

LLongmingVery unexpectedly good, I didn't report any hope. As a result, the proprietress was enthusiastic to pick up the station, the room was clean and tidy, and the mattress quilt pillow was clean and soft and especially comfortable. The bathroom is also clean. Except that the air conditioner is a bit loud, everything else is really good.
The location is also very good, just beside the transfer center, go to visit the former residence in the afternoon, come back to rest in the evening, go out to see the show at 7 o'clock, very convenient. Night tickets are cheap and save a lot of money.

WWes Ali XanderThis is one of the best places I have ever stayed from the sound quality and awesome video features in the room, to the friendly staff and awesome location overtop a huge awesome underground mall. I can't stress enough how amazing this place truly is 10 out of 10. I got off the train in Xiangtan not knowing what to expect and because of this amazing hotel I am so happy I did.

The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, making check-in and check-out smooth. The location is great, with easy access to transportation and plenty of restaurants nearby. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The environment is quiet and safe, offering great value for money. I’ll definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!
