During the May Day holiday, I was going to take my baby to Youyang Red Stone Forest, and I searched for this homestay on the platform, which is very close to the Red Stone Forest. The homestay is at the top of Hewan Village, which is an original Tujia village. The Youshui River is surrounded by beautiful mountains and rivers, and the natural and fresh. Every villager uses fishing boats as a means of transportation, which feels like a paradise. The homestay is also a Tujia architectural museum. The houses are handmade by old Tujia craftsmen. They are very exquisite and can experience the pure Tujia construction culture. At night, sitting in the yard, watching the starry sky, smelling the fragrance of grapefruit flowers, listening to the frogs and insects, and feeling at ease. During the day, go around the village, take a boat to Youshui River for a ride, listen to the boat brother telling foreigners about Tujia culture in fluent English, and have more respect for the mountains, rivers and humanities here. Due to the inconvenience of transportation, you have to eat in the hotel, which is a little more expensive, which is understandable. On the way back and forth from the hotel by boat, the boat driver helped carry the luggage, which was very enthusiastic. We arrived a little late that day.
