MM442823****This guesthouse is fantastic, located within Gongtan Ancient Town. The owner is incredibly kind and always willing to help.
She made us an authentic local breakfast, which was delicious. The noodles were made with local flour, a very unique touch.
The room was clean and fully equipped. The bed was comfortable, and they even provided complimentary bottled water and loose tea.
The view from the window was absolutely stunning, offering panoramic views of the natural scenery and the city skyline. The river and mountain views were breathtaking, perfectly matching our expectations.

GGuest UserA place suitable for seclusion! A place full of Tujia culture! During May 1st, I was going to take my baby to the Red Stone Forest in Xiangyang. I found this homestay on the platform, very close to the Red Stone Forest. The homestay is on the top of the Hewan Mountain Village. This is a original Tujia Mountain Village. The Lishui River is surrounded by beautiful mountains and green waters, natural and fresh. The villagers use fishing boats as transportation vehicles, which feels like a paradise. The homestay is also a Tujia Architecture Museum. The house is handmade by the old Tujia craftsmen. It is very exquisite and can experience the pure Tujia construction culture. At night, sit in the yard, watch the sky full of stars, smell the fragrance of gardenia flowers, listen to the sound of frogs and insects, and feel at ease. On the day, go to the stockade, take a boat to the Lishui River for a ride, listen to the boat brother speak Tujia culture to foreigners in fluent English, and have a more reverence for the landscape and humanities here. Due to the inconvenience of transportation, the food has to be in the hotel, and the cost is slightly higher, which is understandable. On the way back and forth to the hotel by boat, the big brother and brother of the boat also helped with the luggage, very enthusiastic. The day we arrived was a bit late. Since we didn't say the meal in advance, the chef was off work. The boss rushed to find the dumplings in the refrigerator to cook for us. I was touched by this warm service again. There are no shops and pharmacies in the cottage, so you need to buy things across the river to buy them in the town, so you have to bring everything. However, the hotel has been equipped with common items for accommodation. All in all, this homestay is worth looking forward to. If you are tired of staying in the city, it is really good to go to the river bay to calm down and nourish the gods in your dreams.

JJiaojiansuiyingjiedianhuaAlthough it rained when I arrived this time, I didn't go to the grassland to play, but the hotel environment was clean and tidy, and the rooms were spacious. The front desk service was warm and thoughtful, and we sent us moon cakes, especially patiently introduced the surrounding attractions and food. And this time with the children, the room sister is particularly intimate, prepared children's slippers and toothbrushes. There is also a children's play area, the son likes it very much, and had a great time. The staff is very patient with the children and the whole family is very satisfied!

GGuest UserThe hotel is located right above the Gongtan ancient town and very conevenient to visit the beautiful town with delicous food and have 1 hour gallery cruise trip in the emerald river surrounded by painting like rock wall mountains and trees. The hotel was renovated lately, thus facilities are new, and we loved the interior of our room and the view through the window. The hotel service was excellent, as manager took us and picked up to the cruise trip or the town upon the request.

MM429389****Before the National Day, I visited Gongtan Ancient Town. It was already late when I arrived at the ancient town, so I chose an inn close to the parking lot. The inn is big, the rooms are also big, the facilities are also good, and there is an independent balcony. I took a few photos on the balcony in the morning. The scenery is beautiful. It is very good and worth recommending!

Because they were very tired from the trip in the past few days, I wanted to let my parents relax, so I asked the landlord for an extra bath bag. In the ancient city, the environment is quiet and comfortable, the rooms are clean and sanitary, the boss is very polite and enthusiastic, and helped us understand the travel route and buy tickets in advance... I like it. Although there are other inns below, they are far away , if you have a lot of luggage and it is inconvenient, or you can only take a battery car. It's also a bit deserted down there.
