Amazing
GGuest UserThe staff were extremely nice. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I would stay again.
The restaurant is another story. We were given a glass of warm water because ”ice not available, Sir” my coffee was served with a sugar packet and powdered creamer packet. I used the sugar, ordered a second cup which returned with the same empty sugar packet. I then had to track someone down to get another sugar. The food was ok... Not good, not bad. The bill was P655. I attempted to pay with a P1000 and waited 20 minutes while they ran around the neighborhood looking for change. Yes, the restaurant could not come up with P345!!!
I recommend the hotel but would head to the boulevard to find someplace to eat.
GGuest UserOne of the best accommodations i’ve experienced, locally, i mean this is not to compare to a 5-star hotel/resort, but the experience will really make u feel like a royal. The resort is unique, imagine several resto choices and souvenir shops in a small resort community. And dont get me started on the quality of service of the staff, they’re the most courteous resort staff to serve me, they are authentic and caring (sometimes they refuse tips).
P.s. just a tip dont leave ur windows or doors open, bcoz of the mosquitoes, but you have to expect it coz there are a lot of greeneries around.
AAnthonyJamesI only stayed here one night flying in late and catching a ferry the next morning. The hotel is in a great spot to take a walk along the water that night, and then super easy to walk to the ferry terminal the next morning. Very nice hotel and a huge room. Staff was awesome, too. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Dumaguete.
MMaebelleI recently stayed at Florentina Homes with my friends and we had a great experience. All of the staff, including the receptionists, guards, and technician were extremely accommodating and responsive to our requests. Despite initial skepticism due to rumors that the place was old, we found that it actually had a lot of character. The room we stayed in was very spacious and gave off a homey vibe, making us feel comfortable and relaxed. Additionally, we appreciated the complimentary water provided by the apartelle. We also had the pleasure of dining at Gabby's Bistro, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Overall, our stay was very convenient and smooth, and we would definitely consider returning to Florentina Homes in the future. We will also recommend this place to our friends and family who plan to visit Dumaguete.
WWintertriangleLocation: 5- minute walk to the cathedral and town plaza
There are restaurants, banks, and shops nearby.
Easy to flag down public transport.
Amenities: The elevator made it easier for seniors to go up and down.
Spacious family room and spacious toilet and bath.
Hot water was working.
The water flow was steady and stable.
Hot and cold water dispensers on every floor.
Restaurant on the first floor. However, we were not able to avail our complimentary breakfast because we had to leave at 6 am to catch an early ferry to Siquijor.
Breakfast is served at 7am. I wish they could make it earlier and they could serve take-aways or packed breakfast.
Service: Friendly and helpful staff.
They helped us flag down a tricycle to the seaport.
I left my ID at the reception in haste as I checked out to catch the early ferry to Siquijor. The staff called to inform me of my ID card.
I picked it up per instruction without any hassle.
The receptionist and the security guard helped me open a medical syrup using a kitchen knife.
Fast check-in and check-out.
Cleanliness: Our room, toilet and bath were clean and so were the common spaces.
But I was disgusted to see a roach inside the thermos.
SSatanMy wife and I stayed with our 4 children for 2 days it was ok although the lift was broken which made the stairs difficult but the security guard helped by carrying the heavy suitcase, my kids were happy to be in the city again whilst we did some shopping.
TTheJinzaLifeGreat hotel close to the airport in Dumaguete. Simple rooms but had plenty of amenities available including room service. The pool was the perfect addition to get a little swim in before our flight the next morning. Staff was great and facilities were clean!
EEdson Jude DonosoGabby's Bed and Breakfast is an absolute gem, particularly excelling in its unique and charming aesthetic design, which makes every corner of the place feel colorful, cozy, and homey. The wonderful staff, comfortable rooms, and delicious food (especially the breakfast) make for a truly enjoyable stay, offering a peaceful and quiet retreat. However, the one notable drawback is the location, as it is situated a bit further from the main city center and popular spots like the Rizal Boulevard, meaning you'll need to rely on local transport for most of your sightseeing trips, which can add a slight inconvenience to an otherwise perfect experience.
AAnonymous UserAll in all good value for little money, its cheap so dont expect much. The family room has no windows and our door key card did not work (2x needed assistance to open the door). Only one key card for 4 persons. The receptionist and guard are very friendly and helpful
EEmmanuel SarmientoThe place is quiet, good for people who like relaxation in a tranquil environment. The room is okay, I got a small ne but it was enough for me since I came as a solo. However, I don‘t understand why it was so hard to hail a tricycle going to this place, no matter how near it actually is. Even the tricycles from there won‘t pick you up even when it‘s not yet fully occupied. So far my stay was good. I was able to work in my room, I just wished they have something like a study table where guests who needs to work remotely can work. Also, it would be nice if you know how to drive a motorbike and hold a driver‘s license. Cause going to the places there back in forth can be really hard when commuting only, unlike when you can rent a motorbike, you can go anywhere, anytime without a hassle.
