Amazing
GGuest UserThe Wellness Park Hotel Bactria provides a truly elegant and modern retreat in Samarkand. It is highly praised for its immaculately clean, spacious rooms and the exceptional, professional service delivered by the staff. Featuring excellent wellness facilities and a serene location near the new Eternal City, it is the top choice for travelers seeking sophistication, comfort, and tranquility.
MMike IgWe stayed at this hotel for a few days as a couple and had a pleasant experience. The hotel is new, modern, and comfortable. Although it’s located a bit outside the city center (around 15 minutes by taxi, costing about 30,000 UZS), the area around it is quite charming – a newly developed park zone with music fountains, restaurants, photo spots, a water park, and canals. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was varied and enjoyable. Overall, a nice and comfortable place to stay.
QQuest JourneyColibari Hotel Samarkand – A Cozy Retreat 🌟
Nestled in the historic heart of Samarkand, Colibari Hotel blends modern comfort with classic Uzbek charm. The rooms are clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated, offering a restful escape after exploring the city. The friendly staff provides personalized service, making every guest feel welcome. Enjoy a delightful breakfast on the terrace with stunning city views. Conveniently located near major attractions, this hotel is ideal for a relaxing and authentic Samarkand experience.
GGuest UserGreat location, but this hotel was a bit of a weird experience. We stayed for one night. It was fine for one night. I felt more like I was staying at a hotel than at my aunt's, who wasn't very friendly and was a bit arrogant for no apparent reason. The atmosphere was just right, a hint of cool, but very bourgeois. There were no lamps or switches near the bed; you had to go to the door, turn off the light, and then return to bed in pitch darkness. Breakfast was edible, but it was in the basement. It was very cold there. The coffee wasn't tasty, the pancakes were excellent, but the tablecloths were really dirty. Overall, it was okay to spend the night; it wasn't exactly bad, but I'd advise the owners of this hotel to stay at other hotels to understand how things work and apply them to their own.
MmikestoffLia! by Minyoun Stars of Ulugbek is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to unwind in a peaceful and well-equipped hotel. Tucked away in a quiet part of the city, it’s ideal for a relaxing getaway or a comfortable base for leisure travel. The front desk team is incredibly professional and genuinely helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them.
Breakfasts are a real highlight, with a great selection and a restaurant team that speaks fluent English and Chinese, which makes the experience even smoother for international guests. And the cherry on top? Each room comes with a private balcony offering a stunning view of the nearby canal, such a peaceful spot to start or end the day.
I would absolutely recommend this property for families, groups of friends, or business travelers. It’s a gem!
ややまたにI'm a Japanese man.
I was sexually harassed by the owner.
After showing me to my room, he touched my upper arms and chest.
I thought he was just touching me to say, ”You have a nice body,” so I ignored it at the time.
On the day I was due to check out, he used the translator to say, ”I don't want you to leave. I love you.”
I thought it was one of those common overseas ”Are you going away? I'll miss you” types, so I just said thank you.
After that, I started getting changed, thinking I'd take a shower before leaving, but he peeked at me from outside the window.
I quickly closed the curtains and took a shower, and then he came into my room, used the translator to say, ”I just wanted to see your breasts, and please forgive me.” I thought he was serious, but I forgave him because I was scared something might happen.
The location was great, within walking distance of Registan Square, and the room was nice, so the owner's behavior was disappointing.
LLuoleibinA good choice, but the hotel didn't remind me to check in 2 hours early and I had to pay $40! **** didn't say a word, ”Wait a minute, now it's double the price.” Just take the money and stop talking. Speechless 😓, the breakfast is really great, I have to say more about the good stuff.
RRamonLocation: excellent! It is in the same building complex as the Art Gallery Happy Bird, mentioned in Tripadvisor. Registan is about 300 m away, so after dinner I would walk there to see the illumination.
My room had 2 twin beds, was rather small but comfortable. Upon opening the windows, a cool breeze entered the room. Wi-fi was reliable and there was a water boiler for tea.
Breakfast was abundant and good. The cook, Dishoda, would make me an omelette every morning. In the same building there are restaurants and fast food/ice cream joints.
On my last day I took the train to Khiva, which departs at 11:46. The hotel allowed me to stay in the TV room, with wifi access, water and toilet facilities, for 10 hours after check out. I recommend Hotel Dyor.
GGuest UserVery satisfied, the service was very attentive. The location is within walking distance of the square, about 1.6 kilometers. There's a very good barbecue restaurant nearby. The staff speaks English, and the prices are very reasonable. The hotel entrance is very small, and I circled the building using the navigation system but couldn't find the entrance. Hahahaha, actually, the entrance is right on the road.
