"The quadrangle courtyard is quiet and beautiful, and the latex pillows and mattress really improve sleep quality. The service is very attentive. The only thing is that the echoes of people talking in the courtyard at night are quite loud. The breakfast variety could also be a bit more extensive."

"At first, it was out of the psychology of ”even if you are completely lazy to go to the scenic spot to have a view”, but later found that there are the following conveniences: 1. Buy Keyan Scenic Area tickets can be half price, conventionally speaking, scenic area tickets are 80/person, and the room card in the scenic area is 40/person 2. Buy social drama tickets with half price of the room card, but recently there is no social drama praise, so I did not enjoy it. 3. Delicious breakfast (very good aunt, congee, side dishes, buns, milky buns) 4. The homestay is at the bottom of Luzhen, very quiet, the room is very good, the boss will pick us up to the entrance of the scenic spot every day, it is also very convenient"

The owner is handsome and kind, and they even offer complimentary drone photography! It's a bit far from the attractions in Yuecheng District, but a taxi ride only costs around 20 yuan, and taxis are very convenient! Full marks!"

Hotels in Shangyu District,Shaoxing
Grand Dongshan, developed by Zhejiang Chunhui Group, sits next to the 600-acre-Dongshan Lake. The extraordinary natural setting calls back the time of Eastern Jin (317-420 AD) and the impression portrayed in Xie Lingyun's literature: "When I see the charms of landscapes, I come to see the greatness of universe".

"We chose Shaoxing for our third National Day stop. My dad had been asking for rice wine for two years, and we finally made it. Among the many hotels, we chose the popular Donghu Hotel. So, what was it like? Let me tell you. The garden itself doesn't look like a real garden; they've chosen this particular plot of land to create a hotel that resembles a garden. I think it's pretty average, nothing spectacular. Plus, they're on energy-saving mode, so the lobby and hallways are incredibly hot. The hotel will communicate with you in advance. I booked a duplex suite, but I don't think the layout matches the photos. The view is also average, with visible electricity lines and trees obscuring the view. Luckily, we'd asked in advance and used mosquito spray (we got bitten several times, and we couldn't get rid of them). The room was already open, but the decor was quite smelly. Service: Communication with the front desk and housekeeping was seamless. Any issues were handled. Cleanliness: Dust filled the corners of the room. Opening the curtains would cause a cloud of dust to form on the floor. Flies and insects were everywhere in the living room downstairs, and we didn't open the door. I think the duplex suite was the best place to start with the mosquito problem. The room door should have been filled with mosquito repellent. The carpet still looked a bit dirty, with tiny hairs on it. Breakfast: A complete mess. The larger the number of people, the worse it was. The food wasn't replenished promptly, and I had no idea what they were doing. Luckily, I was leaving. I have a feeling the National Day holiday will be even worse. The food wasn't good either. Restaurant: The Chinese restaurant was fully booked (by time slot). The only food options in the entire hotel are the Chinese restaurant and the buffet. It might be nice for a one-night stay, but staying longer isn't necessary. The food options are limited, and the buffet was average. The Chinese food was okay, though. We ended up eating in our room. Bed: Too soft, not for my taste. The National Day activities are pictured. We made cookies, fed the fish, and watched the fireworks (which only lasted three minutes). They have a mahjong room, suitable for seniors, but it's extra charge and probably outsourced. There's also a children's playground, so we had some fun. Summary: Not as good as I expected. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again in Shaoxing. It doesn't feel particularly mountainous, not very natural. The view from the room was just average. I think some apps over-embellish the view."

Hotels in Shangyu District,Shaoxing
The predecessor of the hotel was an old winery built in a village in Xiaguan Town, Shaoxing. With the support of the policy of "co-construction by villages and enterprises to revitalize idle resources", it invested more than 20 million yuan to build a modern homestay in 2019. The design style of the homestay is European industrial style, which comes from the excellent architectural designer team of Greentown Real Estate. The homestay has a number of high-end rooms and a green grassland with an area of up to 4,500 square meters, which is suitable for camping, barbecues, bonfires, group building, and outdoor weddings. The B&B can also provide team catering, and has many business and leisure facilities such as an outdoor swimming pool on the roof, meeting rooms, leisure halls, chess and card rooms, and tea rooms.

"The room is super big, the mirror is very good hhh, the scenery outside the floor-to-ceiling windows is amazing The housekeeper was very helpful and gave us blueberry picking vouchers~ she was super nice. In the afternoon, my friends and I were hungry and ordered a meal in the hotel. The Yangchun noodles and my friends thought it was delicious! ! It's worth coming for vacation and leisure~"
