"This is an amazing hotel for its price range! We had a 2-bedroom bungalow with a private pool, though we ended up using the main pool instead. The beds were comfortable, and the pillows were good. It's a quiet place; you can't hear any road noise. The beach is a 5-7 minute walk away. There are many cafes nearby; we really liked Pirate Cafe and went there several times. There are also shops. However, we couldn't find a currency exchange and had to go to Cenang for that. Breakfast was a bit sparse (though typical for a 3-star), but you won't leave hungry. The staff were friendly and tried their best to help with everything. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys boutique hotels or guesthouses."

"Location, convenience, beach, ambiance, rooms, entertainment, dining – there's hardly anything to complain about. If I had to nitpick, first, there are too few designated smoking areas! Second, the rooftop infinity pool is strictly for guests aged 18 and above, which feels quite unreasonable. Many guests come with their families, and it's not like you can just ditch your kids to go for a swim. This policy excludes many from enjoying the experience. For breakfast, try to go early and grab a seat near the water for a great experience. The hotel is situated on Cenang Beach, which has very fine sand. The water isn't crystal clear, but it's acceptable. The room's minibar offers a good variety of drinks, plus two small snack bags that are refilled daily by the staff. You absolutely MUST choose a sea-view room. We opted for the Premium Sea View, which had an L-shaped sofa on the balcony. I actually slept there one night, facing the ocean, under the moonlight, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves – it was absolutely wonderful. The room was also spacious enough, nearly 70 square meters, making it very comfortable for a family of three. The gym doesn't have a huge variety of equipment, but it's sufficient and open 24 hours. There are two pools: one for adults and one for all ages. Regarding food, the hotel has several restaurants, and there's also a beach BBQ with a fire dance show for 198 per person, which isn't expensive. It's also not far from Zhong Hua Seafood Restaurant and Hidden Bar, making dining very convenient. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Langkawi."

"Padi Villa Langkawi boasts a super convenient location right in the center of the island. It's less than a 20-minute taxi ride to Cenang Beach, Kuah Town, or the Sky Bridge, offering the perfect balance of being away from the hustle and bustle without feeling too remote. The surroundings feature tranquil rural scenery with lush green rice paddies and coconut groves, which is incredibly relaxing. Plus, there's an authentic Indian restaurant nearby that's definitely worth checking out. The owner is Chinese, very warm and talkative, offering tons of practical travel advice, and communication was seamless. The villa's environment is its biggest highlight; the landscaping is superb. The pool is surrounded by tropical plants, providing excellent privacy and making it a great spot for photos. However, the beds in the rooms are indeed a bit small, so it might feel a little cramped for two people. Breakfast is freshly prepared, with a wide variety and delicious taste, providing plenty of energy for the day's activities. Overall, it offers great value for money and is an excellent choice for a Langkawi getaway."

"Book sea view studio at a higher price due to the Chinese New Year holidays. Waited for almost 2 over hrs before room is ready when close to 3pm. However was very disappointed when check into room n as seaview studio room on 7th floor is blocked by a hill in the center n major construction looking down from the balcony. Request for a change of room to higher floor, view rooms on 2 other higher floors and finally settled on the 11th floor which is a better seaview eventot the hill in front with construction site is still there. Would rate the hotel only at probably 4 stars or below with average rooms furnishings , average spread breakfast, spots bad maintained cleanliness over the public areas n a rooftop which is squeezing all sunbathe chairs n tables n a bar with an average size swimming pool. Reception staffs are not as well trained but they are trying their best to fulfill most guests queries. The rooftop is quite windy but offers good photo view. This hotel should be relatively new only opened a few years ago but idoesn’t match the prices of a 5 stars or 5 diamonds rated."

"Fantastic villa with prompt services provided. My family of 4 (inclusive of 2 kids under 7yo) thoroughly enjoyed the amenities provided within the house. Full kitchen facilities, private pool, toiletries, complimentary drinks and pods (refillable)..It's situated near enough to Pantai Cenang, but not as touristy/bustling. If you don't drive, grab cars are easily available and affordable. Very highly recommended!!"

"The environment is fantastic for photos, no complaints there. I saw they offered breakfast and assumed it would be a buffet, but it turned out to be à la carte. And for about 78 RMB per person, it's pretty steep considering I booked it online for just over 100 RMB per person. One morning, I wanted to switch to the floating breakfast delivered to my room, which cost an additional 142 RMB. I picked it because it looks good for photos, so that's fine. However, I messaged their customer service the day before to ask for it at 8:30 AM the next morning, but they didn't reply, so I had no idea if it was confirmed. The next day, I had plans to go out at 9 AM and still no response. At 8:40 AM, I walked out the door and ran into the delivery person 🙃 It was ridiculous; how was I supposed to take pictures then? I was utterly speechless and frustrated. If it arrived at 8:40 AM, I'd have to eat and then take photos, otherwise it would be a waste. My mood for the day's travel was completely ruined. If you're going just for the photos, it's definitely worth it – you'll get some amazing shots. But skip the breakfast. The floating breakfast ended up being around 343 RMB, which is way too expensive. You could find other places to take pictures."

"Good afternoon. The villa matches the photos on the website. It's clean and has everything you need. There's a wonderful pool in the courtyard, so you can even swim! Contactless check-in. The beach and cafe are a 10-minute walk away! We loved everything!"

"Overall, great experience! Booked for 2 nights with them and was satisfied with the overall experience. Great service and was provided with many amentities including free snacks and drinks. Love how big the room is and how it is connected to the swimming pool! Swimming pool feels very clean too! The only downside i would say is that at night, there might be lots of lizzards but they are all outside, thankfully. Just need to remember to close the door and it's all good! Location wise, it is only about a 5 min drive to Pantai Cenang so i would say pretty convenient as well! If ever had a chance I return to Langkawi, this is definitely a place I would consider staying agn! However, I do wish that, since I stayed here for my birthday, it would have been nice if their service can one up a bit by perhaps writing a birthday card or giving a small cake or sth but overall, service provided was still great!"

"Considering the price, this hotel doesn't offer great value for money. The environment and privacy are good, but it's far from the beach, making it inconvenient to get around. It takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the beach. With only 9 rooms, there's no entertainment other than staying in your room. The Wi-Fi is terrible and really needs improvement. Even with my own 5G, streaming videos in the hotel was incredibly laggy. I definitely wouldn't choose this hotel again when I return to Langkawi; it's a huge step down from the Four Seasons, despite only being slightly cheaper. It's simply not worth the price."
