Romantic Hotels in Chongqing

"Well. Initially I booked a big room, but the first hotel experience in this city wasn’t as expected in the online pictures, so I asked this Orange place apartment in advance to let me know if their pictures are close to reality. They told that maybe the apartment I initially booked is maybe older and not so modern and clean and that they have only this smaller apartment available for my arrival time and that is clean and new but also that I had to pay a difference for it.. which was a bit funny because the place is much smaller than the one I booked but not old. Anyway, no problem I paid the difference and checked in, the location is very good for your experience, the online support team is there all the time talking to you but my issue was still the cleanliness of the place. How’s possible they to clean all over but still have other people hair in bathroom, bed lingerie and on the floor? That ai didn’t like.. and I informed them and they said they will try to do better cleaning from now on so.. 🤷🏼♀️"

"We stayed at Aspera for several nights and absolutely loved our stay. From the moment we arrived we were impressed by the warm hospitality. Every staff member was friendly, welcoming and genuinely caring. They always greeted us with a smile and made us feel at home. The hotel itself is incredibly stylish and our room was beautiful, spotless and very comfortable. The bed and pillows were perfect, the city view was amazing and we really appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including bathrobes, a Dyson hair dryer, a quality speaker and a projector. Housekeeping was excellent every day. The only downside we noticed was the sound insulation. The room door doesn’t block noise very well, so conversations in the hallway and doors opening or closing can be heard quite clearly. Breakfast was another highlight, with a great selection of Asian and Western dishes, fresh fruit, delicious desserts and freshly baked pastries. We especially loved that coffee was freshly prepared by the barista instead of being served from a machine. The complimentary afternoon tea with drinks and snacks was also a lovely bonus. The location couldn’t be better. Most of Chongqing’s main attractions, pedestrian streets, the night market, Arhat Temple, the riverside and the metro are all within walking distance, making it very easy to explore the city. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely stay here again. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chongqing."
