"I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. Everyone was so nice and kind. The service was top- notch. The amenities were plenty and easy accessible. A few extras that made everything worth it were the full- sized refrigerator, with freezer, the washing machine (for which they provided soap as well), dish washer, stove top, towel drier ( in the washroom) and full sized closet. The view was so beautiful and calming as well. Everything about this room was just so nice and exactly what I needed.
I didn’t realize how perfect the location was in relation to almost everything that I wanted to see. When I figured that out, I just got up every day and walked to everything that I needed or wanted to see. It was extremely close to a lot of restaurants, malls, local shops and smaller attractions. I was less than a 10 -15 minute walk to Raffles City Shopping Center where there is a 5 story mall, Movie theatre, roof top attraction with the swing, SKY WALK and also the river front park with amazing views. Same distance for Hongyadong, the viewing platform, the Qiansemen Bridge- if you wanted to walk across the bridge at night- I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! There is so much to see and experience between the hotel and these attractions. Your days will be filled with fun and adventure.
If ever I have the opportunity to come back to the city, I will very excited to repeat this experience. "

"This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way and made the whole trip incredibly smooth and enjoyable.
Even before check-in, the staff proactively contacted me, provided detailed transportation guidance, and made sure I knew exactly how to get there. The location is outstanding — literally right next to the subway station. Once you exit the station, the hotel is just there. It’s also in the heart of the city, making it extremely convenient to reach all major attractions, shopping areas, and restaurants.
Another thing I really appreciated was their flexibility with check-in. If the previous guest checked out early, the staff would quickly prepare and clean the room so guests could check in earlier than the official check-in time, which was incredibly helpful.
The hotel also offers luggage storage and even provides a microwave for guests to use. Inside the room, there was basically everything you could need. The refrigerator was surprisingly large, the room itself was spacious, exceptionally clean, and beautifully designed. Considering the price, the value for money is outstanding.
What impressed me the most was the service. The staff kindly helped me reserve a Michelin one-star restaurant in Chengdu, which normally requires a Chinese phone number and is known to be quite difficult to book. Thanks to their help, I was able to enjoy an amazing dining experience without any hassle. Their support truly made my trip much more convenient and memorable.
There are only two minor downsides:
The hotel is located inside a building with a lot of people coming and going, and there are only a few elevators serving many floors. If you stay on a higher floor, you may need to wait quite a while for the elevator and sometimes it gets crowded.
The shower area is a bit small.
However, compared with all the advantages, these are very minor issues. Overall, this hotel is absolutely worth the price and I highly recommend staying here. Honestly, part of me doesn’t even want to recommend it because I’m afraid too many people will discover this hidden gem!"

GGuest UserHonestly, the hotel's location is unbeatable. The subway is right outside, making it super convenient to get anywhere. Plus, major attractions like Raffles City and Jiefangbei are within walking distance. There are also great food options nearby – Chen Popo Hot Pot, and the local noodle and sticky rice cake breakfast were all delicious. The room views were also nice. I stayed in a smaller room first, then a larger one for the next two days, and the view from the bigger room was even better.
My only complaints are that the air conditioning in the smaller room was quite noisy, though the larger room didn't have that issue. Also, the wet/dry separation in the smaller room wasn't great; water from the shower would flow towards the toilet, which was annoying when wearing disposable slippers. And the hairdryer! It barely had any power, making me increasingly frustrated while using it. I strongly recommend replacing it with a high-speed one; it wouldn't cost much and would make a huge difference.
Overall, I was quite satisfied. The service was very responsive, and the excellent location saved a lot of travel time.

GGuest UserThe hotel was fairly clean. The staff no. 70 helped me with my luggage after I changed rooms the next day, which was convenient. One of the drawback was the limited number of lights, which made us difficult to go to the tiolet at night as the room was too dark. Another problem was that we have to dress up outside the bathroom as there was no room to take the underwear inside the bathroom. Anyway, I give 5 stars as the front desk staff is friendly and helpful.

GGuest UserCloud Eye is in the same building as the hotel. The front desk staff were really nice! The room had a beautiful view and was very comfortable! Plus, there are free self-service washing machines and dryers, which is super convenient~ No matter how late it was, the customer service lady always responded thoughtfully to our questions, and even gave us a very detailed guide when we checked in! They were really friendly~ Chongqing has such good food! I'll definitely come again next time!

SscwilderThe hotel is right outside Hongya Cave area. You can watch the drones from the 15th floor. The room and floor I was in was very clean and the cleaning crew are enthusiastic about making sure your stay is comfortable. The front desk are also very helpful.
Getting to the hotel with Didi was not difficult but due to the busy road and where the road merges, they will most likely drop you off across the road. You can wait until the light turns red and be brave and cross (partial stop light because the other lane has no light) or use the overpass. When leaving and need Didi, it’s actually easier to go to 3rd floor and use the back door and catch the ride from there.
If I have to moan, it’s the elevator. It’s not the smart one where you push a button and it’ll trigger all and one will be selected. You need to manually push both and see which gets to your floor faster.
Overall a good stay and price point for being a last minute booking during Dragon Boat Festival weekend.

MM54825****Every time I visit Chongqing, I choose to stay at Xingyou Hotel in Times Mansion, right next to Jiefangbei. I love its minimalist, clean, and smart design. What's even better is its location; from the hotel room, you can see the bustling and lively Jiefangbei and its surroundings below, and the view is especially stunning at night. The hotel owner is a clean-cut and kind young man, and the front desk lady is also very enthusiastic. I accidentally sprained my foot while out sightseeing, so I couldn't go anywhere and had to stay in the hotel. The owner and the front desk lady brought me lots of water and asked what I wanted to eat. I said I wanted sour and spicy noodles, and they brought those too. Eating sour and spicy noodles while gazing at the view outside the window, I couldn't help but think of that saying: Chongqing is a city you'll never want to leave once you've arrived...

GGuest UserI stumbled upon this hotel by chance, saw the great reviews, and decided to book it. The location is absolutely unbeatable, right in the heart of Hongyadong. You can just stroll out and be at the core of the scenic area, which is incredibly convenient for enjoying the night views. The room facilities are complete and comfortable, all smart-controlled. You just need to speak to adjust the lights and curtains – it feels high-tech but isn't complicated. The biggest surprise was upgrading to a river view room at the front desk for an extra charge. From the window, you can directly see the river; during the day, the water flows gently, and at night, the lights from both banks reflect on the water. The view is truly expansive. Overall, my stay was quite hassle-free, and the service was attentive. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Chongqing. I must also mention their free luggage delivery service, which is a huge plus! After checking out, I didn't have to lug my bags to the airport myself, which was amazing. It freed up my afternoon to explore more, and I could just pick up my luggage at the airport with empty hands! Haha, I highly recommend Huanman High-Altitude River View Hotel!!!

GGuest UserThe river view room was absolutely lovely, right above Hongyadong. It was super convenient to get to Jiefangbei, Raffles City, and Kuixinglou. We came back a bit late at noon, but the hotel staff were so patient and kindly extended our check-out time for free. This will definitely be my first choice next time I visit Chongqing!

GGuest UserGreat location, central but not in a noisy area. The room was really big and clean, and the service was excellent. They had a wide selection for breakfast, and it tasted good. My room type was a studio apartment, which also had a super spacious living room and kitchen. Very comfortable!
