Nice Hotels with Rooftop Pools

"I had a pleasant stay at the hotel but there were a few issues at the start of my stay that I was not best pleased about. My sister and I arrived early and we knew check in wasn't till the afternoon so we arrived at the hotel to leave our luggage and were going to just explore for a few hours. The receptionist told us to come back at about 2pm - 3pm. When we arrive back around 2pm and asked if we could check in she told us no point blank. Now that is find because check in is at 3pm, but then stop telling people to come back at 2pm - 3pm. That would suggest that you are happy to check people in slightly earlier. It was just rude and annoying!. We waited in the reception area till 3.05pm and at the point the same receptionist told us to come to the front and check in with her colleague. We did so only to be told that our room was not ready yet!. Before the lady got up to ask us to check in, it would have been smart to check the room was ready first (they had a list of ready rooms that they were referring to). After that we waited an hour!!!! for our room to be ready and for us to finally check in. The front desk staff need to tighten up!"

"Overall, I was satisfied, but I kept hearing a 'ding-dong' knocking sound, which I didn't experience on the 6th floor a few days ago. I'm on the 4th floor now, so maybe they're doing some maintenance. Also, a 100 Euro deposit is required for every stay, even though the full payment has already been made. This seems a bit unreasonable; even the famous Swiss hotels only charge a 1 Euro deposit. Hmm."

"Good location close to the Promenade and Jean Medecin. Good amenities and I had got to relax. I had a balcony in my room. Room service food was not the best as it was precooked and was not heated evenly that the risotto was stuck together and looked like it was still frozen. It was not what I had expected."

"The location is convenient – about a 10-minute walk to Nice Riquier train station, and 20-25 minutes on foot to Place Masséna. Tram #1 runs nearby, and a bit further, from Place Garibaldi, you can catch tram #2 to the airport and tram #3. Across the street from the hotel is a shopping center with a Carrefour that we visited daily. The room has almost everything you need for a stay, including a well-equipped kitchenette with a two-burner stove, microwave, kettle, capsule coffee machine (we don't drink coffee, so didn't use it), refrigerator, and dishwasher (with a few tablets provided). There was also dish soap, but no sponge (we had to buy one ourselves). There was also no cutting board (we bought one too). All necessary utensils are available (though for knives, there's only a small one for vegetables and a bread knife; a larger, all-purpose knife would have been nice). For those who care, there were no cooking essentials like salt, sugar, or spices, which are usually present in apartments of this type. As warned beforehand, there's no cleaning service during your stay (there's a vacuum cleaner in the closet). You have to take out the trash yourself, and towels are not changed (there's a heated towel rail in the bathroom, which is very convenient; you can wash something and it dries quickly). The bathroom has liquid soap and shower gel, a bathtub, and a shower hose. An ironing board is available (I don't recall an iron as it wasn't needed). There's also a safe. Our stay was quite satisfying, and we would book again."

"Facilities: The hotel feels quite new, with complete facilities, including an induction cooker, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a complete set of tableware. Friends who want to cook can choose this hotel. There is also a large dining table where you can eat directly after cooking. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas. The toilet is a separate small compartment next to the entrance, and the shower is next to the big bed. The big bed, sofa bed and dining table area can be separated into two spaces by a curtain. However, there may be a lot of facilities in the room. It feels crowded to spread out two boxes, but it should be spacious if only two people live there. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: There are large hotels around, and it feels like there are more cars on the road than people. It is the closest to Nice Saint August train station, and it takes about seven or eight minutes to walk. This train station has an elevator, which is quite friendly to dragging luggage, but it is open-air, and it may be more troublesome when it rains. Fortunately, we have been sunny all the time☀️. It is a little further away from the airport. Apple Maps is not accurate. I wanted to find a so-called supermarket on the map that seemed very close. A local resident who was parking his car told us that the map was wrong and we should search for carrefour and forget the other direction. Service: Very polite, free luggage storage and use of the toilet in the lobby."

"The room was very small. After I put down a double bed, there was no space. I barely opened my suitcase on the ground. Maybe my suitcase is too big. There is basically no place to go after opening. The bathroom is larger than the room. The water is better, the hot water is very fast, and the water pressure is quite large. Whether it is a room or a bathroom, it is very clean. But in the bathroom, the cup is made of plastic cup. It's not very environmentally friendly, and the plastic cups are still packed in plastic. Disposable plastics can easily pollute the environment. I recommend going out to bring your own cup, which is both environmentally friendly and hygienic. There are not many varieties of breakfast, the taste is average, but it is very convenient, you can cook your own eggs, their home egg cooker is really cute. Breakfast starts earlier, from 6:00 to 10:00. It is quite convenient to catch a flight, and there should be not many places to eat near the airport. It is about 1.2 kilometers from the airport. We walked from the airport terminal 1 for about half an hour. It is not very convenient to use Google Maps. There is a small road with many steps. We carry luggage and it is very inconvenient. If you choose another road recommended by Google, all of them are big roads, not so many steps may be better. We came out of the airport to meet the novotel hotel, which is really close to the airport."

"Nice budget hotel for solo travellers like me. They gave me a well-located room overlooking the grand Gare de Ville station (as shown in my picture). They also serve good continental breakfast here. However, my bed is not particularly comfortable. The bedsheets felt plastick-y & my back was sweaty from it, even though it wasn't hot at night."

"Our second time in less than 2 months. When you are greeted like old friends with warmth, professionalism and sweetness that’s the place to come back time after time. Thank you to THE Team at Mama. You are fabulous. This time our room was on 4th floor. Very light , spotlessly clean…. Love the room and shower room with lovely bedding and towels. You ll find the Tram to airport within a 10mins walk ( Port Lympia) or the train to Monaco Ventimiglia etc.. from ( Riquier station) less than 10 minutes. Loads of cafes around too. Loved our stay and needless to say , we will be back in the summer this time. Thank you to the amazing welcoming Team"
