"The room was large and new! It's on a high floor, giving you a panoramic view of everything below. Highly recommended! You'll need to ask the front desk for toiletries, just give them a call and they'll bring them up. If you run out of water, just ask for more! A special shout-out to Eva for her very patient service. "Newly renovated, the rooms are exceptionally clean, and even the toilet seats are heated, which is a really nice touch. From the second-floor balcony, you can see three towers directly, and enjoying a drink on the terrace in the evening is absolutely delightful. The guesthouse's location is also excellent; turn right and a 3-minute walk takes you to a local wet market, which has a wonderful vibe. Turn left, and in about 5 minutes, you'll reach Ziyang Street. Food and drinks are all within easy reach. Plus, the guide the owner sent us was super helpful. Thumbs up! I'll definitely stay here again next time. When we checked in, they even gave each of us a cup of grass jelly drink, which was a very warm welcome."

"Service: Excellent. We drove ourselves, and the butler was waiting for us at the garage entrance in advance, proactively helping us with our luggage. They also provided parking vouchers. We could take bottled water from the front desk whenever we wanted. When it rained, the front desk also allowed us to take umbrellas freely. Plus, there's a bookstore in front of the hotel, so you can even take books back to your room to read if you find something you like. Environment: Superb. The public areas are very pleasant, with both indoor and outdoor spaces to suit different preferences. The location is also very convenient, allowing us to wander through Ziyang Old Street at our leisure. It's also very close to one of the entrances to the ancient city wall. Facilities: The speaker system is very stylish, and the electric kettle is a trendy, '网红' (influencer-favorite) model. Cleanliness: Quite clean."

"This guesthouse is relatively new and perfectly situated right by Ziyang Street, making it incredibly convenient to step out for a stroll and grab a bite anytime in the evening. The room comes with a Xiaodu smart device, which is quite handy. The entire place was spotless, providing a wonderful living experience. The auntie's breakfast was made with fresh ingredients and tasted delicious. She mentioned that the wonton filling is made from meat bought fresh every morning, and there were also some homemade Linhai local snacks (I forgot the name). There's even a small garden on the rooftop – it’s a lovely spot to chat and relax in the cool breeze. The guesthouse also boasts a gym and laundry room, which is quite a rare find. Although I didn't get to use them this time, they looked very well-maintained. Overall, it offers great value for money. If you're visiting Ziyang Street, I'd definitely recommend staying here."

"The hotel is about a 20-minute drive from Linhai Station, in a lively area. The rooms are large, but the service is average. They provide very few tissues; when I asked the cleaning lady, she was reluctant to give me any. When I asked at the front desk if food could be heated, the receptionist answered in detail, but she was looking at her computer the whole time and didn't look up, which felt a bit disrespectful. I've had black rice cakes for breakfast for two days in a row, which is disappointing. The sand garlic and bean noodles at the fifth-floor Chinese restaurant are delicious."

"This hotel is quite charming—it’s a large, old house that has been nicely converted into several hotel rooms. Our room was very comfortable. However, a heads-up regarding the bathroom: there was no door on the toilet area, and the shower was an all-glass enclosure. Since I was traveling with my husband, it wasn't an issue for us, but if you are traveling with friends, you might want to be aware of this lack of privacy. The location is excellent! It’s right next to the City Wall and super close to several great restaurants and cool bars. We also liked the service; the staff were quite attentive. One thing I found confusing, though, was that they didn't register my address as per the usual government standard for foreign guests, which most hotels in China follow. As for cleanliness, it was standard for China—there were a few stray hairs in parts of the room (usually women's hair), but I find this happens in practically any hotel here. Overall, it was a good stay!"

"This hotel is really good value for money! The room is not big, but the layout is reasonable, it has all the necessary facilities, and it is new and clean. Although the hotel’s breakfast variety is not too wide, it is enough to meet the needs and the taste is good. The hotel is in a great location, close to the city center and attractions, and very convenient for travel. The staff's service attitude was enthusiastic, check-in and check-out were smooth, and the experience was great!"

"Although the facade isn't grand, it's not hard to find. The room was bright, and being on a high floor, offered expansive views directly facing Intime Department Store. It's also not far from the old town. Atour, as always, was clean and tidy, and the staff were enthusiastic and friendly."

"Taking advantage of the spring, I brought my family elders to Taizhou for a trip. We booked a stay in Linhai, at the Four Seasons Hotel. The customer service arranged for us and my parents to stay next door, which was very convenient and considerate! The hotel is new and has complete facilities. Shares the elevator with the Sheraton above. After checking out, the front desk gave me a small gift. I will definitely book it next time."

"The room was spacious, especially the ensuite bathroom. The breakfast buffet had a rich selection of Taizhou specialties. There's really no need to follow the trending online food posts; they don't really reflect the experience. It's best to just have breakfast at a local hotel. My two-night stay was very comfortable. The only problem was the pool, which was probably closed to the public, wasn't very pleasant. There were a lot of children learning to swim, and the pool itself was small, so it felt a bit crowded."
