"Overall, a great stay! They offer a generous afternoon tea with seasonal fruits, fennel beans, and a pot of yellow wine, which gives it a wonderful local flavor. The breakfast buffet is extensive, and both the mini wontons and 'mien bobo' (steamed buns) were delicious. The location is excellent, with the front facing the street and the back opening onto the river; there's even a spot where you can sit by the river and enjoy the breeze. My only minor complaint is that the room window was a bit small and faced the street, limiting the view. Also, the dog barking at night was a bit noisy."

"The room was very clean and spacious, with good lighting. The service was excellent; the front desk even provided hot bottled water, and the breakfast was delicious. When I first arrived, the receptionist thoughtfully put a protective cover on my ID card 🥺🥺🥺. The hotel's location is also great, perfectly matching my impression of a Jiangnan water town."

"I came to Shaoxing during the full bloom of the Chinaberry trees this time, and when it came to where to stay, there was no doubt – Shaoxing Hotel. I'd walked past it from Xixiaolu to Xiaohe Zhijie at the end of last year, and this Jiangnan-style garden hotel immediately went onto my 'must-stay' list. Shaoxing Hotel is beautiful both inside and out, with stunning scenery everywhere. All the staff are incredibly friendly and greet you warmly. On the day I checked in, the front desk even upgraded me to the second floor of Building 2, facing Fushan Park. The sanitary facilities are, needless to say, exceptionally clean, featuring a smart toilet and a multi-function shower with several massage jets. The sink area also has separate strong and weak voltage outlets for hair dryers and men's razors. The breakfast restaurant is downstairs. I passed it multiple times during the day and evening. It offers Shaoxing specialties, and the food is quite good. After breakfast, you can head to Fushan Park across the street for a panoramic view of the city. Shaoxing Hotel isn't just about its beautiful environment and excellent service; it also boasts a fantastic, central location in Shaoxing. You can walk to Xiaohe Zhijie, Cangqiao, and Lu Xun's former residence. I've compared this over my two visits to Shaoxing in the past six months and have already recommended it to several good friends."

"This trip with my mother was mainly about finding a comfortable, quiet environment where we could rest well. Atour's service, cleanliness, ambiance, and facilities are all top-notch, making it our first choice for travel. The check-in service was exceptionally detailed, thoughtful, and the staff's attitude was superb. Breakfast was plentiful, and the mini wontons were especially delicious. It's also very close to all the scenic spots, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. It would be even more perfect if there were package deal discounts available! 👍😎"

"Skipped the Chinese New Year crowds and checked in on Lantern Festival, so it was wonderfully quiet and uncrowded. Even though it's in the city center, it doesn't feel old, cramped, or damp at all. From the exterior to the rooms, every detail is excellent. The biggest surprise was how comfortable the bedding was; it was clean, soft, and I had a great night's sleep. Woke up feeling great in my back, waist, and neck – I'm seriously considering getting one of those pillows! As I was leaving, I checked the bed for anything I might have forgotten and found the duvet was still warm. It's also incredibly lightweight yet super insulating. The owner really put thought into their product selection. Even on a gloomy morning, I saw the cleaning staff meticulously tidying up the rooms, working up a sweat. I'd definitely recommend this place to friends and would happily stay here again if I get the chance. It's also super convenient for walking or cycling to nearby attractions, and there's a bakery and a popular cafe right outside the door, so you can easily enjoy them."

"This hotel is super convenient! It's just 20 meters from the City Square metro station, and there are buses nearby that go to Keyan Scenic Area, Donghu Lake, and Jianhu Lake. Lu Xun's former residence is only a 5-minute drive away, and Cangqiao Old Street and Qiu Jin's Monument are right across the street. The rooms are well-equipped, clean, and hygienic, with a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom. The views from the window are lovely, and the soundproofing is excellent. The service is attentive, the front desk staff is friendly and helpful, and they were prompt with cleaning during our extended stay!"

"The hotel's location is super convenient, right by the subway entrance, and taxis can pull up directly to the lobby. The surrounding area is also quite nice, and the lake view from the high floors is beautiful and uplifting. The room itself is spacious and clean, and the TV's screen casting feature is a plus. The gym, though small, is well-equipped. Breakfast, however, was pretty average, nothing special, and honestly, it lowers the hotel's overall standard a bit. Also, probably because it's so close to the subway, you can hear a whistling sound every time a train passes by. If you're sensitive to noise, you might want to consider other options carefully."

"Great location - within walking distance of the train and metro stations. Most tourists attractions are close by as well. We were given a free upgrade to an extra spacious room. The room was nice and clean and well equipped. The reception staff were all super friendly and helpful who answered all our queries with a smile. For the price we paid, it was super value for money."

"What a pleasant surprise! This hotel is a hidden gem. It's tucked away and a bit hard to find, but their service is top-notch. They contacted us the day before, asking about our travel plans and if we were bringing elderly, children, or pets. Since we always travel with our furry friend, their pet-friendly policy was a huge deciding factor. The hotel is nestled within an old residential area, blending in perfectly without any sense of incongruity – it felt like discovering a new world in a bustling district. The surroundings are surprisingly quiet with low foot traffic. Even better, it's incredibly close to all the popular attractions, which meant we didn't have to trek far to enjoy the sights, while still having a peaceful retreat at the hotel. This was definitely the highlight for our family. The courtyard, with its charming bridges and flowing water, had a lovely spring-like vibe, perfect for artsy photos. After a long day of exploring, instead of going straight to our room, we relaxed by the pool, soaking up the sun – so serene and utterly relaxing. The room was spotlessly clean, and I loved the subtle, pleasant fragrance. The color scheme in the room was particularly appealing, both stylish and cozy. With the pool right outside the window and plenty of sunshine streaming in, it was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was quite varied, featuring many local specialties. The 'yinggao' (rice cake) was absolutely delicious; I ate three pieces myself! The handmade 'xiaohuntun' (mini wontons) prepared by the auntie were also incredibly fresh and flavorful – you could tell the ingredients were top-quality. P.S. It was a bit busy during breakfast, and the wontons and pumpkin 'miangeda' (dough drops) were made fresh to order, which was a very thoughtful touch. Although they accidentally gave our bowl of miangeda to another guest, they quickly prepared a new one for us. We totally understand that mistakes happen sometimes, and we still really enjoyed it. We visit Shaoxing frequently and will definitely be back if we get the chance. We highly, highly recommend this hotel!"

"Elegant interiors, excellent service. Pros: ❶ Great location! It's just over 200 meters walk to the west gate of Lu Xun's former residence. There are many restaurants nearby, including Kong Yiji Restaurant, Xianheng Hotel, Xun Bao Ji, and Ji Heli, all just a short alley away. ❷ Attentive service! Upon check-in, we were treated to a large bowl of fruit and a big bag of preserved vegetable cakes. In the evening, each person received a bowl of red date and white fungus soup. You can also choose to have incense lit in your room. ❸ Delicious and varied breakfast. When checking in, you can choose between Chinese and Western options. On the day of dining, you can select your main dish, and there are also fruits, pastries, and snacks available. ❹ This hotel is a beautifully renovated old residence with an elegant courtyard and spacious rooms. It even retains the latticed windows and corridors of the old building. The soundproofing is also quite good. The stray black cat, who often gets fed, isn't afraid of people and is now expecting kittens."
