Hotel Indigo® Savannah Historic District is the perfect destination for your Savannah experience, steps from City Market, Forsyth Park, Ellis Square, River Street and more than 150 restaurants and bars. Like our Spanish-moss-draped city herself, our hotel is the perfect mix of old and new featuring a historic building with authentic suites along with modern rooms, gathering spaces and amenities that every visitor will love. Known to locals as the "Grand Lady on the Bay", our building was once 19th-century mega-merchant Simon Guckenheimer's dry goods storage house, which was filled with everything the South made best, from tobacco to canned peaches. The 1940's and '50s brought a grocery store with the city's first true coffeehouse. Now, the Grand Lady stands as a charming boutique hotel with modern style in the vibrant Ellis Square that reflects the essence of Savannah's renowned Historic District. Guests enjoy our acclaimed location in the heart of it all, along with true Southern hospitality. After a delicious breakfast or cocktail at our lobby bar, immerse yourself in our neighborhood's rich culture at City Market, located next door. Then embark on one of the tours Savannah has to offer with several iconic squares located steps from our door. Make your way down cobblestone paths to famous River Street, where you can watch ships enter and exit the harbor while savoring Southern comfort food. Hotel Indigo sets the stage for a remarkable Savannah stay!

"I feel like there is zero value here. I paid a ridiculous amount of money and got a dirty coffee machine( the water holding compartment was full of some flakey stuff), a dirty sink, no toiletries, and a banged up and super loud a/c. The staff however were super nice! However, I will never stay here again as I paid $900 for two nights stay, and the rooms are just standard rooms. I could have stayed anywhere for that kind of money. One of the fees was a “destination” fee for $25. Yay! I arrived. Charge me money?"

"Better than domestic Samsung, the bedding towels are white and clean, you can ask for them at any time, that is, there is no room service after 10 o'clock, you have to throw the garbage out and change the garbage bag. Dirty towels should also be placed in the linen basket at the door, and go back to the lobby to get the towels at night. Hot coffee in the lobby has been provided free of charge, disposable paper cups, and the quality is very good. The lobby bar is enough to sit and enjoy and watch pedestrians passing by outside. Free breakfast is also ok. There are eggs and bacon, bread, coffee, juice, yogurt, cereal. Nutrition is enough. It was the young lady at the front desk who mischarged us on the day of check-in, and it was lifted after five days. We stayed for three days and came back every day if we didn't get the card to the front desk to update it, we couldn't open the door. The room is a bit narrow and cramped, especially if you bring the kitchen, it is even narrower. The bathroom has a smell of sewers, which is almost the same as the domestic Samsung. In addition, the room rate booked through Trip.com was more than 2,000 per day, and I continued to live for one day. I called the hotel directly. The price was less than 1400. Yuan can say that Savannah is worthy of the top leisure city, air tickets and hotel prices are too high. Facilities: General Hygiene: General Environment: OK, very close to the river, convenient for travel Service: acceptable, basic needs can be met."

"Hotel location was very convenient, staff was friendly, accommodations were clean. One disappointment was excessive addition of fees and taxes on my credit card. I booked through a third party booking sight for convenience and cost. I did anticipate the additional fee of using the hotels parking garage, however I was verry displeased with all of the other additional charges added. I knew parking was $50 a day, I did not used any other amenities through the hotel, i.e.: breakfast, television, room service, however I was charged an additional $277 for an accommodation fee, occupancy fee, destination fee, ect... I did address this numerous times with the front desk, and was assured only necessary charges would be added, the rest would drop off. Overall, the accommodations were pleasant. However, we will not be returning due to excessive additional fees"

"Wow, how to begin. The hotel and rooms are quite beautiful and the never ending view along the river with the almost constant movement of gigantic ships, is mesmerized. The location is also perfect with enough restaurants and shops within close proximity that you can find plenty to keep occupied even on the occasional rainy day. Now, with all that said, a caveat to any travelers wanting any semblance of rest. The second floor rooms are pure nightmare. There appears to be some sort of a supply room on that floor. The staff likes to use it for rather loud gossip and partying and when not in use by the staff, there apparently is a bowling league practice in there! The noise from tables and chairs and dishes being moved around at times even late into the night is just aggregating! The walls offer absolutely NO help in reducing the racket. Would we return to River Street Inn again? YES! As a matter of fact, we can't wait to return but, only if we would be guaranteed a room on the 4th or 5th floor! "

"The location is very nice (right in front of the Savannah River) Parking is the worst (no free parking even if you stay here.. valet $54, self-parking in the parking lot building is $56 (because it's calculated by the hour) *If you're going to park, I recommend just parking on the side of the road.. hotel parking is too expensive Amenities are good.. it's a shame there's no pool... Room cleaning - seems to be done roughly.. the trash can area is not cleaned (it seems like they only throw away big things..) Amenities are not filled... one day thread & needle, one day hair cap, one day nothing.. hit or miss I don't know because I didn't eat here Ah! Baobab Bar has a good atmosphere and is friendly"
