"I don’t usually return to the same hotel twice, but Maxx Royal is one of those rare exceptions - we are already planning to come back next year, most likely in May, hoping for slightly warmer weather than April. The best part of our stay was how much there is to do, especially with teenagers. We had so many opportunities to spend quality time together - playing basketball, paddle, volleyball, bowling, and even enjoying the arcade games almost every day. It really made the holiday feel active and memorable as a family. The resort itself is very spacious, and there are plenty of sun loungers, so it never felt crowded or stressful trying to find a place to relax. Our room was another highlight - very large, beautifully designed, with a stunning sea view and a balcony that we really enjoyed. We also really appreciated the indoor pool, which was heated to a very comfortable temperature, making it easy to use regardless of the weather. There is plenty of space throughout the hotel to relax and unwind. A big winner for us was the 24-hour restaurant - incredibly convenient and consistently good. In fact, we didn’t even feel the need to try the à la carte restaurants because the main buffet restaurant was already excellent. Breakfast in particular was outstanding. I’ve never seen so many different egg dishes in one place: fried, poached, boiled, with sausage, meat, cottage cheese and more. Everything was fresh, and it was great to see bread and pastries being prepared right in front of us. If I had to mention one small area for improvement, it would be the service details in the buffet restaurant. Tables were often not fully prepared, for example, we sometimes had multiple knives that weren’t suitable for cutting meat, or no dessert spoons at all. The service overall was good, but I can imagine this becoming more noticeable during peak season, so hopefully the hotel increases staffing accordingly. The only real disappointment for us was the jacuzzi in the spa. Unfortunately, during our stay in April, it was the coldest jacuzzi I have ever experienced, which made it difficult to enjoy. I do hope this will be improved in the future, as everything else about the spa area is excellent. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and truly felt that we made the right choice. Maxx Royal offers a great balance of luxury, space, and family-friendly activities and we are already looking forward to returning."

"Let me just say, I loved everything, partly because I hadn't been to the sea in years and hadn't had a vacation in three. I wanted to relax, and I did. I wasn't looking for problems, and I was happy with everything. The lady at the reception upgraded our room for free, which also significantly enhanced our holiday experience. Yes, of course, the hotel interior is a bit dated, but that's a minor detail because the food is available 24/7 and it's absolutely amazing (not a single stomach upset, even though I accidentally swallowed some pool water a couple of times!). The animation team works with incredible dedication, entertaining guests every minute: yoga, water polo, aqua aerobics, volleyball, kids' animation, and a playground with attractions. The water slides operate on a schedule, but they *do* operate! In the evening, there's two hours of live piano music in the lobby! We could hear it from our room, so we didn't even have to leave! There's also some evening program at 10 PM. For shopping enthusiasts: City Belek Bazaar is a 20-minute walk away, it's a large area, but generally, it's the usual stuff: shoes, clothes, Turkish sweets. We went to Land of Legends because my son wanted a 'real' McDonald's (2,000 in one direction is not worth it, haha!), but if you really want to browse brand-name stores, it's an option. I also want to commend the staff. Everyone was great – quick, efficient, no awkward approaches, even the massage offers were discreet; if you said "no," they'd back off."

The facilities are poor and cleanliness very poor especially in the satellite buildings. Its noisy all night, the food is poor and bad service. Little English spoken and it is neither 4* or near the beach. Its very, very poor."

"The hotel was nice and clean, with a fast check-in and check-out process. Every night was a highlight, and the staff were kind, friendly, and very hospitable. The food was good overall, but the options for lunch and dinner could be a bit repetitive, with similar choices available each day. The main downside was getting taxis from the hotel to other places. The hotel does not provide transfers, and the taxi prices are calculated in euros, which felt a bit unusual and made transportation more expensive and inconvenient. Unfortunately, the water slides were also not working during our stay, which was another disappointment. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and the cleanliness, hospitality, and evening entertainment were definitely highlights."
