Five stars? I'd give it ten if I could! I'm from Wuhan, work in Suzhou, and was vacationing in Shanghai. I booked this hotel after leaving Disney, heading back to the city. Honestly, I didn't have high hopes; I thought for the low price, the room would be small, just a place to crash overnight before catching my high-speed train the next day. But I was so pleasantly surprised by the incredibly detailed service: First off, the laundry room was super convenient and I was very happy with it. Second, the breakfast was incredibly rich and plentiful, easily comparable to many big hotels. Thirdly, every time I encountered a staff member in uniform or a cleaning lady, they were so proactive and friendly towards me. I truly felt at home, and they even helped me with my luggage! And finally, there was a special 'Telunsu' milk souvenir! *sniffle* I was genuinely touched. I'll definitely be a returning customer!

My experience at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! The room was super clean and comfortable, which made my stay very pleasant. What really stood out was the staff's kindness; it truly touched me. When I was struggling to figure out how to order takeout, they patiently explained everything and even personally helped me with a drink purchase since I'm a foreigner and had difficulty with the payment. At checkout, they even gave me a hand cream as a gift, making my trip perfect right until the very end. Thanks to their warm hospitality and the immaculate room, I had a truly wonderful time. I will definitely be back!

This was my second stay at Atour Hotel, and its location is fantastic. It's just a short walk from the subway station, making it super convenient for getting around the city for business or reaching various transportation hubs. The complimentary self-service laundry and dryer are a great bonus! (٩•̤̀ᵕ•̤́๑) I received a free room upgrade, and the room was spacious with a great view. Aside from the occasional door-closing sound from next door near the entrance, the soundproofing was good, and I had a restful stay. Special shoutout to Zhang Guoqi at the front desk – he was excellent! 👍👍

The hotel has an unbeatable location, within walking distance to Jing'an Temple and West Nanjing Road, and right next to the subway entrance, making getting around extremely convenient. The swimming pool area is lovely, featuring a heated pool which is wonderful to soak in after a long day of sightseeing. Overall, considering this commercial district, this hotel offers exceptional value for money.

Located in Jing'an District, it's a bit of a walk from the subway station, about seven or eight minutes, but there's a bus stop right outside. It's an independent hotel, and while the facilities are a bit old, they're still perfectly functional. The room is very spacious, comfortable for staying with children. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores around the hotel. Most importantly, the staff are all very warm and patient, and the breakfast is delicious. It's definitely worth staying.

Extremely satisfied, it was an unexpected pleasant surprise! I had seen some negative reviews online, so I initially thought, 'Well, it's super close to the consulate visa office, just a few minutes walk, and I'm only staying one night, I'll just tough it out.' But then at the front desk, the young lady was incredibly gentle and professional, and I already felt a good vibe. When I opened the guest room door, everything was spotless, the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, the toilet was smart, the AC was powerful and adjustable, and Xiao Du (the smart speaker) even woke me up on time the next morning. Because I had an appointment, the front desk lady kindly agreed to a one-hour late checkout. The hotel was quiet both at night and during the day. The only downsides are that the room is a bit small, though perfectly adequate for one person. Also, the sink is quite close to the bed, but if you're careful, water won't splash onto the bed. Given the room size, this sink arrangement is probably the only option. In any case, the hotel's description and photos didn't hide these minor flaws, so I was prepared for them. The cleanliness, quietness, smart features, and excellent service were truly unexpected delights! I honestly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is centrally located, very convenient to metro services and great food options nearby. What made our first trip to Shanghai so memorable was the helpful and friendly staff. Yoyo, Shirley and Ethan went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after. Highly recommend and if you bump into the staff mentioned, I'm sure you'll feel the same.

The room was very nice and clean. Towels and bath towels were provided separately, and slippers were disinfected. The front desk staff were very attentive. It's a great choice for tourists or business travelers. The common areas are also excellent and suitable for working. The internet speed was smooth.

An excellent experience! The front desk staff were warm and professional, and the location is superb. It's only a two-minute walk to the LV boat, and I even caught the opening of Skims nearby. The flagship Starbucks next door also has a great vibe. Highly recommend!

This was my first time trying a hotel housed in a renovated historic building at 931 West Nanjing Road – the Shanghai Nanjing West Road Unforgettable Hostel (renovated in 2024). The building dates back to the 1920s, making it about 100 years old. Here's my review: 1. **Staff Service:** The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, pleasant, and patient. They always greeted guests with a smile, no matter what, and never showed any sign of displeasure. 2. **Convenient Transportation:** The hotel is very well-connected. You can take Metro Line 2 to easily reach all major attractions like Yu Garden, Chenghuang Temple, The Bund, and Jing'an Temple. 3. **Surrounding Amenities:** There are countless restaurants nearby, covering all meals from breakfast, lunch, and dinner to late-night snacks. This renovated old building truly offers a blend of luxury without being ostentatious. It's a gem worth exploring. If I get the chance to visit Shanghai again, I'll definitely stay at this Unforgettable Hostel to continue my exploration.
