We checked in on New Year's Eve, and they gave the kids New Year's goodie bags. Every day, the lobby staff greeted us warmly! For breakfast the next day, they specially prepared a customized meal for the kids – shrimp fried rice and 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork), which was a delightful surprise! The hotel is relatively new, and our stay was excellent. Getting around by taxi was convenient with no traffic jams. We'll definitely consider staying here again on our next visit!

A true hidden gem in this modern high-rise. The hotel is in the same building as the Novotel – specifically, Citadines occupies floors 15 to 18. The check-in experience is an absolute 10/10: the team is incredibly welcoming, offering coffee, tea, and small pastries, plus there's a very pleasant coworking space. The rooms feel like compact studios with a kitchenette: microwave, washing machine, dryer, a full-sized fridge, and lots of storage. The bed and pillows are supremely cozy, and the shower… just wow! The water pressure is outstanding – truly a delight. The door goes from floor to ceiling, so steam from long, hot showers stays inside the bathroom. The sink area is a little tight, but perfectly fine for one or two people. Special shout-out: the magnifying mirror and the Japanese toilet – a real touch of luxury that I thoroughly enjoyed. This time was just a long weekend, and we had a fantastic, relaxing stay. The only small drawback: the metro is about 1 km away, maybe slightly farther. But the value for money is so excellent that what you save on the hotel more than covers a taxi ride. In fact, I had a 6:00 am train from Hongqiao and pre-ordered a Didi – it took just 15 minutes door to door, which was incredibly convenient for me. Considering how reasonable the price at Citadines already is, the Didi cost felt like nothing. That sealed the deal for me. This is my third time staying here, and it remains my go-to place in Shanghai. Highly recommended – I'll be back again soon.

My family, this stay at the esports hotel was an absolute blast! The computer was top-notch, and it played AAA games without any lag. The screen was high-definition, and the keyboard and mouse felt fantastic. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The staff was friendly and responsive, and the surrounding area was convenient for dining. I'll definitely be back for another gaming experience here. Highly recommended!

Traveling with my child, I booked a twin room. When we first entered, I realized we couldn't push the beds together. I called reception and they quickly moved us to another room, and two staff members even helped us combine the beds. We stayed for two days, and my overall impression is that this is a brand-name hotel with excellent service. Staff always greeted us when we entered and exited the lobby, and everyone we encountered was smiling. Overall, while the room wasn't huge, it was very comfortable. The location is also very convenient, and it offers good value for money.

The beds were soft and comfortable, with clean and plush pillows and duvets, ensuring we had a good night's sleep every night. The in-room amenities were also excellent and fully met all our needs. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always offering assistance with a smile. Whenever we had an issue, they patiently addressed our concerns and went out of their way to resolve them. All in all, this hotel truly stood out as a highlight of our trip. We were extremely satisfied with everything, from the service and facilities to the overall environment. We would definitely choose this hotel again for future stays and wholeheartedly recommend it to other travelers.

This is a neighborhood where locals live, not a tourist area. Therefore, Chinese food is predominant in the area, so if you are not accustomed to Chinese cuisine, finding a place to eat nearby might be difficult. However, if you enjoy Chinese food, the prices are affordable and the food is delicious. The subway station is about a 10-minute walk from the accommodation. The room was not cleaned during my stay. Since I was staying alone and switched rooms mid-stay, it didn't bother me much, but if you are not in a similar situation, you should request cleaning.

The room was quiet and comfortable with a small number of people. The bed sheets and quilt covers were very fluffy, but the bed wasn't firm enough. When the upper bunk moved, it shook loudly, like thunder. The refrigerator was small and full of stuff. The red indicator light on the socket was bright and couldn't be turned off, which was glaring and affected my rest. The room had no windows, and the air conditioner was on all day. When there were many people, the room was not well ventilated. The water in the high basin of the bathroom always overflowed, and the urinal flushed too hard, easily splashing water on me. The location was also not good.

The location is very convenient for traveling. The subway station is very close. The owner is also very nice. He asked us to coordinate a room with better ventilation, which he arranged for us. The air conditioning was a little bit not very effective, and the cooling effect was not good. It would be better if it could be improved.
