9am reached the hotel and was lucky they've room available, able to check in room to settle down 😀😀 Service was great for the reception, and free laundry within 4 hrs return my clean clothes, which wrap in clean plastic bag, 👍. Have good sleep which has a comfortable mattress, and breakfast has many varieties. I have a minor concern is the shower head water power not good enough and quite difficult to control the water temperature.

Overall, the room offered excellent value for money. I really liked the charming retro decor – it's clear a lot of care went into the design. Having a smart toilet, a kitchenette, and a washing machine made it feel very well-equipped for longer stays. The breakfast was a definite highlight; it used high-quality ingredients, offered a great mix of Chinese and Western options, and they even focus on sustainability, which is a nice touch. The staff were also very friendly and provided great service. On the downside, there was a noticeable musty smell in the room, which was quite strong. We also spotted a few minor cleanliness issues, like dirty windows that made it hard to clearly enjoy the view outside. Lastly, the shower pressure was quite weak.

I had a fantastic stay at Citadines Songhong Shanghai and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. One of the standout features for me was the exceptional cleanliness of the entire property—from the lobby to the room, everything was spotless and well-maintained. It gave me real peace of mind and made the stay all the more comfortable. The location is also super convenient, with easy access to public transport, restaurants, and shops. Whether you’re in Shanghai for business or leisure, this location puts you in a great spot to get around the city with ease. Another major plus was the in-room washing machine. It made a huge difference, especially for a longer stay. Being able to do laundry right in the room was so convenient and really elevated the experience—it’s these thoughtful amenities that set Citadines apart. All in all, Citadines Songhong exceeded my expectations. Clean, convenient, and comfortable—I’ll definitely be coming back!

The room is hygienic, the environment is quiet, the service is not, and there is no need. It is almost the same for renting a homestay in Hong Kong.

The room was well-appointed and impeccably clean. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the staff and manager warmly welcomed me and helped with my luggage. A standout feature is their complimentary shuttle service to Disneyland, the airport, and the high-speed rail station. Exploring on my own was also very convenient, with the subway entrance just a short 400-meter walk away. All in all, I felt completely at ease and comfortable, and the hotel had a very upscale feel. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip!

The room is big and clean. The breakfast is great. You can use washing machine and dryer for free. No convenient store near the hotel. Some guest smoke in the hotel.

We recently stayed at Mercure Shanghai Hongqiao SOHO and special thanks to Kyrie and all the staffs, everything went well during our stay. The room we stayed was a previlege room with large space we could rest or work as well. We really enjoyed their amazing breakfast every morning. They a lot of options with fresh noodle and fish cakes, eveyday slightly rotation of food which is also nice. At the lobby, there is a coffee machin we could get our cappuccino any time we wanted. The hotel is very close to the metro station, and both side there are big shopping malls. We could move around even at night and felt very safe. We also checked out Skybridge in walking distance which was recommended by hotel. If you walk like 20 mins from hotel, there is Suzhou creek where we went for run one evening. Thank you for making our stay in Shanghai very pleasant and memorable!
