Aleksandra ButovaWe booked this hotel because it's part of the Novotel chain, which is worldwide. It's a bit older, but the rooms meet all expectations and have everything you need. The location is perfect, with the Lotus almost directly opposite. The hotel has its own sunbeds on the beach, but there are only 12 for ALL guests, so it's better not to count on them, especially since they are in the 4th or 5th row from the sea. There are always empty sunbeds closer to the sea for 400k VND (for 2). Breakfasts are excellent and varied. The hotel left a good impression, even though we only stayed overnight and had breakfast there.

Guest UserAlibu was the first hotel we stayed at, and it didn't disappoint. It's a cozy, quiet hotel with a small property, delicious breakfasts, and the room has everything you need. The guest relations officer, Linh, is always available on WhatsApp, and all information is provided in Russian. The hotel's beach is quite small, and the entry might not be convenient for everyone, especially during low tide. However, it's much easier to get in before noon during high tide. The staff also constantly cleans trash from the lagoon. The only minor complaint is the lack of a proper partition between the toilet and shower, and the fact that this area isn't separated from the rest of the room. Overall, we're happy with the hotel. Thanks for a great stay!

Guest UserPros:
The hotel is well-located, with plenty of shops and cafes nearby.
Excellent view from the window.
There's a balcony, good for drying clothes.
Cons:
Cleaning is very poor. There was a dirty stain on the floor on the first day, and it wasn't cleaned for the entire week.
Towels are constantly not replenished. We were two adults and a child, and we paid extra for the child, but they never provided towels, toothbrushes, or anything else for him. Shower gel and soap weren't refilled in the dispensers. They ran out within a week.
There are no rooms for three people – either a family room for four or a double room. We always book a double room with two beds. Usually, these are spacious twin beds. Here, the two beds were very narrow, so we pushed them together. Then, one day, the cleaners took away our third blanket.
The room has a large kitchen, but it's unclear why. There are no dishes, and cooking in the room is not allowed. A big closet would have been more useful.
In a double room, there are only 4 hangers for clothes.
The hairdryer is terrible. You can dry your hair with it, but styling is very difficult. It also broke and was replaced. But the hairdryer holder fell off on the second day.
The bed linen was yellow.

Ekaterina 7We first stayed at this hotel in 2018, and now, 8 years later, it's definitely showing its age. A lot of things need renovation. HOWEVER, we knew this from reviews and were prepared. Because this is the BEST accommodation option in the Nha Trang area. The island itself is simply paradise, large and beautiful, and the beach is magnificent. If you don't want to swim in the sea like on the Russian coast, where you can barely find a spot, but still want to be close to the city, all the cafes, and relative civilization, then this is the place. When we arrived and saw the number of people on the public Nha Trang beach compared to our beach, it was like night and day. Here, it’s a private, peaceful retreat, and every evening we took a speedboat to the city. The speedboats, by the way, have been upgraded since then, which is great – very fast and comfortable. Then you hop on bus 23, and in 10 minutes, you're in the city. By the way, ask the front desk for QR codes for free bus travel. As a result, you'll have free daily entertainment – a trip to the city and back! For dining, I highly recommend Lumia, the best restaurant with excellent prices, delicious food, and a more-or-less European level of comfort. For about 500 rubles, I had a very tasty dinner of shrimp salad and baked oysters. 🦪
At the hotel, we booked a pool villa on the ground floor. Everything was worn out; sometimes things broke down while we were there – the curtain rod tilted, the closet light never turned off, and the furniture was old. You have to pay for extra beds for children, and it's quite expensive, so we didn't get one. Our older child slept on the sofa, and the younger one with us, and it was all fine. The room was large but a bit poorly designed. It was convenient to have direct access to the pool from the room and a gorgeous sea view. Last time, we stayed in a bungalow, and the views there were absolutely incredible, but we've grown by one person, so we wouldn't fit comfortably there anymore. Overall, this villa was also not bad. But again, we were prepared for the outdated rooms and the hotel's general wear and tear. Despite all the drawbacks, this beach and the tranquility are absolutely worth it!
I can't say the breakfasts were 'wow'; after 10 days, we were tired of eating the same thing. The service is typically Asian – relaxed. They could definitely benefit from a European manager to sort out all the issues and improve responsiveness. Also, almost every day we found a huge cockroach, about 5-6 cm long, lying on its back and wiggling, but half-dead. We never figured out if they had been poisoned before we arrived. Not very pleasant, but after the first 'show,' they disappeared. It's Asia, so thank goodness it was just a cockroach! 🪳 You can also walk across the island to the other side, where tourists are brought. It's interesting to explore there too – mud baths, pools with thermal-like water. Will we return to this hotel again? I think yes, but only because of the location, the quietness, the privacy, the calm sea with minimal crowds, and the magnificent nature. We'll endure the rooms somehow and hope they finally get some attention. 😁 (The last photos are of Nha Trang beach and my dinner for approximately 500 rubles. All other photos are on Hon Tam Island.)

Anonymous UserThe rooms are old and the entrance is a staircase, so there's no way to drag luggage. I arrived at 12:00, and the staff informed me that check-in was at 15:00. I left my bags and returned at 14:30, only to see others being checked into their rooms. The staff then told me to wait another 15 minutes. The front desk staff's eye contact and overall service attitude were definitely lacking. During check-in, they asked for a 200k deposit. I mentioned that typically, bookings through OTAs don't require a deposit, and I'd even stayed at a Mercure without being asked for one. I understand that policies vary, but what was absolutely unacceptable was when that specific front desk staff member started muttering in Vietnamese to her colleagues, essentially implying that I was rude, and everyone's gaze felt like they were looking down on a customer. This really needs improvement – it's a service industry after all. Breakfast was okay. However, the lobby restroom was dirty and only had one stall. I ended up using the accessible restroom because the floor was wet and slippery, and the toilet bowl was dirty. When I came out, a cleaning staff member scolded me. For a hotel of this size, having only one lobby restroom, and needing to use the accessible one for a 'heavy' need, is problematic. They seriously need intensive training in service mind and hospitality.

WentulajunzhanghuaPerfect for a family getaway to relax by the beach and pool. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent, especially the beef pho soup at breakfast – so fresh and flavorful! While the facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained. The staff were friendly and very responsive.

Guest UserJust stayed for four nights and had an enjoyable stay. Whilst the hotel is a very busy spot I had no issues with noise in the room and slept well on a very comfortable bed, room size good with plenty of hot water. The breakfast area is busy with reasonable choices and I found enough to last me until the afternoon. Pool area nice and a basic gym, overall a good choice for the price. The Four Seasons shop next door is very handy with good quality products.

The location is fantastic however the room is getting old showing some cracks on the door and holes on the curtain. Room Needs some upgrade to keep up with the time. Also they didn’t provide free bell luggage services as we had to pay extra to keep our luggage. We had to request a microwave as it was not available in the room when we checked in.

The only positives were probably that they let us leave our luggage a day before check-in and the hotel's location. I thought a 5-star hotel would be at least decent, but I was wrong. The worst part was the old mattress, which sank so badly that my back hurt the next morning, even though I asked for a replacement. The breakfasts were terrible; the only food we could eat was eggs. Three- and four-star hotels had everything.
