SSuebeeI have always held holiday inn express LA California as the best in all of my world travels located close (provided airport transportation) airport, maybe? but within walking distance with side walks to a car rental we used. However, this Holiday In. Express has surpassed my California experience. Employees excellent at checkin. Anthony Joho who displays wonderful mutitaskiing skills, problem solving, and helpful to guests. Checkout 2women and Hispanic man superb also. All are over/beyond my exspections
GGuest UserVery nice hotel and stay. Just a few things that kept me from giving it 5 stars. First was the desk chair. It wasn't completely functional. The adjustment lever would get stuck if you tried to use it, so you were stuck with the chair in the current settings. Second was the coffee. For some reason, they only had 1 regular coffee and 3 decaffeinated coffees. Third, the hotel didn't clean the room on the second day. I was hoping they would provide additional coffee, sugars, and creamers, but they didn't come by at all.
Everything else was outstanding. I loved the room I was in. The studio had a couch with a large swivel TV. The kitchen had everything I needed, and the bathroom was clean, bright, and modern. The complimentary breakfast had a lot of hot options, which was great.
GGuest UserAfter booking reservations online, I arrived at the hotel and was checked in for my 3day/2night grief vacation. The next morning, I received notification from my bank with three pending transactions from the hotel for double the charges. I quickly went down to the front desk to get clarification on why. I was informed that they were not sure why I was charged but assured me that it was corrected in their system and the cost would only be be what I booked online. I explained to the clerk that my money was being held in PENDING transactions which means I have no money available to spend for food and gas. They quickly apologized and gave me a discount but it still didn’t change the fact that my money was still pending. I drove back home with the assurance the clerk cancelled the double transactions. I contacted my bank and I had to wait three days for everything to clear. This trip was suppose to be relaxing and soul searching yet I was stressed and depressed.
KKeile charlesI can't say this enough. The staff is phenomenal. We had the same housekeeper over our 8 days, and Katrina was so caring and patient. She was genuinely interested in making sure my family had wat we needed. If I could change one thing, it would be.. adding meat to breakfast. The one thing I hoped for every day was bacon or sausage links, and that just wasn't there, but everything else was so delicious. I loved the variety of waffles. I hope we can enjoy the pool next time as well. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this hotel as well. Thank you to all the employees we had the pleasure of meeting.
GGuest UserSubject: Concern Regarding Bottled Water Charges
Dear Team,
As a frequent business traveler, I have stayed at many hotels over the past three years. However, this is the first time I have encountered a hotel that charges for the two bottled waters provided in the room. I was surprised to see a charge of USD 6 per bottle (excluding tax), which I find difficult to understand.
While the bottles did have labels, I would not have consumed them had I known they were priced this high. I believe such practices are out of step with the current trend in hotel services, where complimentary water is typically provided to guests.
Small issues like this can unfortunately damage the overall image of the hotel. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, and that the bottled water charges will be waived accordingly.
This experience will make me more cautious when staying at BONVOY hotels in the future.

WW Star USAWe had very good service, the location for our business trip was perfect. We were able to visit the desired residential and business districts.
GGuest UserConvenient place with many stores and shopping around. We had a family of 4. Double bed room. The room and hotel is really old. The room cleanliness was mediocre, lots of stains, rust and even mold along the ceiling. The beds were comfortable. Sheets were felt and looked clean. All the things in the room worked. Free continental breakfast that ends at 9. Waffles, eggs, bagels, muffins, juice and coffee. The staff was not very nice but did provide one extra towel even though we asked for two. Looks to be owned by Indian but not for sure. Not too sure if I plan to stay there again.
