Great
VVIVI-PriscillaThe room was beautiful and much larger than I expected. It was a suite, featuring a living room, a bar area, a dining table, and a separate bedroom, making for a fantastic overall environment. Breakfast was a standard American spread, which was decent, including items like omelets, fruit, cereal, bread, milk, coffee, and juice. Occasionally, there were homeless individuals near the hotel's main entrance. The staff, including front desk personnel and bellhops, were professional but not overly warm or enthusiastic; they were perfectly adequate and caused no issues. The deposit was promptly refunded upon check-out. The hotel's location is excellent: it's next to a Microsoft office, with upscale brand stores like Tiffany nearby, and a pharmacy just around the corner. The White House is also easily accessible on foot. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

GGuest UserWe booked Holiday Inns in almost every location on this trip, and this one was one of the better ones. It's conveniently located, has a small swimming pool, and is within walking distance of restaurants, supermarkets, and pharmacies. The rooms are clean, spacious, and cleaned daily. There's a microwave in the room, and breakfast is self-service, but juices are à la carte. Even with breakfast coupons, there might be a service charge. We didn't order any. There's free coffee in the lobby 24 hours a day.
GGuest UserOur recent stay at the Residence Inn Washington, DC National Mall was fantastic for our group of 6! The One Bedroom Two Queen Suite with Sofa Bed provided plenty of space for everyone to stay comfortably. The suite was perfectly sized with two queen beds in the separate bedroom and a queen-sized sofa bed in the living area. The spacious layout allowed all six of us to move around comfortably without feeling cramped, especially with the separate living and sleeping areas.
Location: 5/5 - Prime spot near the National Mall
Cleanliness: 5/5 - Everything was spotless and well-maintained
Service: 5/5 - Staff was accommodating
Facilities: 5/5 - All amenities exceeded expectations
The suite proved to be an ideal choice for our group of 6. The queen-sized beds, including the sofa bed, provided comfortable sleeping arrangements for everyone. The living area offered enough space for us to gather and socialize, making it a perfect base for our DC adventure. For anyone traveling with a group of 6, I can confidently say this suite configuration works great, offering both comfort and convenience in an excellent location.
GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel during the Christmas holiday, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is excellent — very close to the White House, with plenty of restaurants nearby. What I really appreciated was the daily cleaning service, which was always done thoroughly.
The restaurant on the first floor was also impressive, with food and service comparable to a fine-dining restaurant. Everything about this hotel was perfect the location, cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff.
If I visit Washington again, I will definitely stay here again.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of the Noma district. There's a Harris Teeter supermarket just around the corner downstairs, and a Trader Joe's a few hundred meters north. The closest metro entrance is 100 meters away, and another is about 200 meters, with a 7-Eleven next to it. Noma, in general, is very new; the streets are clean, and it looks much newer than many other areas in DC. It feels quite safe at night, with many apartment buildings around, housing a lot of working professionals. There are also plenty of dining options, including fast food. The room was relatively quiet, with typical Hilton amenities, though some facilities showed a bit of wear and tear, which wasn't a major issue. The staff, mostly Black or South Asian, were polite, enthusiastic, and easy to communicate with.
GGuest UserIt was an overall worthwhile and satisfactory experience. There was one incident though where I requested for a cab service to DCA on the night before I checked out. There was no reservation made. It’s quite disappointing but it nevertheless worked out for me since I had other means. But had I not, I would have thrown a fit! At the very least they should have reconfirmed with me at the time I checked out if I still needed the cab service.
Apart from this, all else was great- the food choices for breakfast, even the coffee and tea options. Location was also great since it was quite near the White House and CVS. The room was also about right size for a single occupant, clean and with adequate amenities.

YYingfadashiThe hotel is super close to many popular attractions, all within walking distance. There's a shared parking lot, but you can't park your car yourself; you have to leave it at the building's entrance for a hotel attendant to valet park it. The hotel itself is on the second floor, and there isn't a very noticeable sign downstairs. It's also near a subway station, making public transport to many places incredibly convenient. However, I did feel a bit unsafe in the evenings due to the perceived lack of security.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel has a good location in DC. We spent four days in the hotel, and we explored the central part of DC (National Hall, Washington Monument, White House, Capitol Hill, and many Smithsonian Museums) by walk (all less than 30-minute walk, which is reasonable) most of the daytimes. The front desk ladies were welcoming and friendly. One thing deserves to be complained about is that the soundproofing of the hotel was not good. We hear nextdoor’s customers talking and street car sirens. But our overall experience is good.
GGuest UserDisappointed in first room which had odd layout and faces alley so I requested better room and they quickly accommodated but would’ve preferred they gave me better room to begin with since I think most people don’t like odd layout with view facing alley. Otherwise, room/bathroom was clean, tv had good selection of channels, and location was perfect where we were just minutes walk from White House and national mall and many good restaurants. Note that I used SpotHero app and found cheaper parking than what hotel offered. Not all garages allow unlimited in and out so make sure to check for this before booking.

IIainThis was such a great discovery. Within easy walking distance of Union Station and Capitol Hill, I arrived after midnight, but the 24 hour concierge was on hand to welcome me, and quickly assist when I realised I was missing an email with door entry codes (resolved with one phone call to a 24/7 support line.) The suite itself was vast, light and airy, spotlessly clean and well equipped with mostly brand new cooking utensils, silverware, etc. All you could need from the kitchen, and a relaxing lounge area. The roof of the building boasts a pool large enough to do lengths, and the gym, shared with the Marriott Hotel next door was enormous, and well equipped with fully functioning equipment - rarely occupied by more that 6-8 others when I used it. Several local supermarkets are within 5 mins walk, and the receptionist was more than happy to let me leave my bag for the day after checkout and work from their relaxing lobby space.
