Excellent
PPedro Jose Hernandez ZarzosaI've found a real gem in this modern tower. The hotel occupies floors 15 to 18, and the reception is a 10/10 – the staff are super friendly, they offer coffee, tea, and little pastries, and there's also a very comfortable coworking area.
The rooms are like a small studio with a kitchenette: microwave, washing machine, dryer, a full-size fridge, and plenty of closet space. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable, and the shower… wow! The water pressure is amazing, absolutely wonderful. The door is floor-to-ceiling, so steam from long showers doesn't escape into the rest of the room. The sink area is a bit small, but it's fine for one or two people. Special mention: the magnifying mirror and the Japanese toilet – a real luxury that I really appreciated.
We were so comfortable that we ended up extending our stay by 3 more days.
The only downside: the metro is about 1 km away, maybe a bit more. But the value for money is so good that what you save on the hotel easily covers a taxi ride. From now on, this will be my go-to place in Shanghai.
Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back.

Outstanding
DDuoduomamaiTaking the kids to Disneyland, this hotel is our top choice! ✨
📍Shanghai Suju (Zhoupu Wanda Plaza Branch)
Seriously, this hotel is right next to Zhoupu Wanda Plaza and the subway station, making transportation and shopping incredibly convenient. Its location is a huge plus.
For just over 100 RMB per person, you get to stay in a smart room. The price is affordable, yet the experience rivals that of big-name hotels.
The room comes with a washing machine and a separate kitchen, which is incredibly useful! It's super convenient for washing clothes daily and heating up meals for the kids.
The entire room is equipped with a Xiaomi smart system, allowing easy voice control of lights, air conditioning, and curtains. No need to walk back and forth, making it much easier when you have kids.
The space is spacious and tidy, with a strong homey vibe. Our whole family stayed comfortably and at ease. Highly recommend for Disneyland trips! 👍
AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is convenient, and it's very quiet at night, ensuring a good sleep. The room's AC and heating system work exceptionally well, and the balcony offers an expansive view. Daphne provided thoughtful and enthusiastic service, and the room was kept clean with warm, dry bedding, no dampness at all.
LLaobuershenweikedemengxiangIt was pretty good! I got a great deal through a group purchase, so I ended up staying twice. The second time, I booked in advance and didn't have to switch rooms, which was convenient. It's close to a residential area, so dining, shopping, and buying things were all very easy. The only minor issue was that getting in and out of the parking lot could be a bit tricky, and sometimes the security guard had to open the gate manually. The front desk isn't 24-hour, so you need to contact them ahead of time if you're arriving or leaving very early or very late, but it didn't affect my stay. Checkout was also quick and easy.
CChoupihuaniuThe room is exquisite with many lovely soft furnishings, and they're well done too. There were also some fruits and snacks, very generously provided. Although the hotel is quite old, the owner has clearly made an effort to perfect the details and ensure cleanliness. The staff were also very nice. Coupled with the excellent location, it's really quite good. My only complaint is that the duvet was too thick; I woke up in the middle of the night feeling hot.

Very Good
YYvTannIt’s our first time in Shanghai and I chose this apartment because of its location. It’s very near to the Jing’an temple, bakeries, very good restaurants like Lai Lai Xiao Loong Bao, Ren He Guan, a Guilin noodle shop that we loved and many more, a Family mart and a short walking distance to the Jing’an temple metro station.
Cosmo World is always guarded at the lobby. The reception team is amazing, especially Lisa. They are all very kind, helpful and always ready to help, even when super busy. They really do go the extra mile. We took a 2-bed room for a family with 1 adult and 2 kids. The room was a good size for us and very well-equipped. We stayed for 2 weeks. The only thing that can be improved is perhaps the shower door, if there’s a rubber seal it would be better so the water doesn’t easily leak outside. Everything else was just perfect for us.

Very Good
LLinjiaerThe apartment hotel has a beautiful and comfortable environment. The front desk service is good. It's a bit inconvenient that you have to go down to pick up your food delivery from outside.
GGuest UserConvenient location with metro train direct entrance around the corner or steps away via a popular food court with many yummy choices. Nice apartment layout. Clean and modern. The split level loft has stairs that may be challenging for ppl with knee problems or very overweight. Attentive and helpful staffs but not intrusive. My floor is quiet. I slept soundly every night. The bed is firm in the right way, super comfortable. There is a fully functioning kitchen with small yet proper refrigerator, conduction stovetop, pots and pan. The shower is strong and hot. I enjoyed my stay so much that I extended it from 3 to 6 nights. I will stay at Modena if I visit Shanghai again.
GGuest UserA hidden gem you won't want to leave once you've stayed! The location is absolutely fantastic, making it super convenient for getting around: it's right next to Shanghai Stadium Station on Line 11, with Lines 3, 4, and 12 also easily accessible. You can walk to Xujiahui commercial district, Star Art Museum, and the Riverside Promenade. The surrounding area has mature amenities, so commuting, shopping, and cultural leisure are all taken care of in one place. Some room types even come with a large terrace or courtyard, perfect for solo travelers who don't want to feel lonely, or small gatherings that won't feel crowded.
The facilities are incredibly rich, covering all aspects of living and entertainment: there's a free gym and yoga room to meet your fitness needs anytime, a shared kitchen and laundry room (with a dryer) to handle daily chores, plus public spaces like an entertainment room, pool table, game consoles, and meeting rooms. And there's an adorable little cat named Xiaolongxia (Crayfish)!
The butler-style service is heartwarming, and you'll feel completely safe: 24-hour security and elevator access control with card ensure peace of mind at night. The butler is on call, helping with luggage during check-in, proactively recommending room types, and even sending small gifts on holidays. I'll definitely stay here again with friends and family if I get the chance.

Ddiyarielari1I stayed here 2 months as a solo female traveler and had a decent experience. First off: Peter was WONDERFUL! He was so extremely helpful and keen that I should have a good time and I am really grateful for his attentive and kind communication. There is a large construction going on right by the building (and it will continue through Dec 2025) so there is noise every day from ca 09:00 to 22:00 (at the latest). Peter helped me change rooms immediately to one that was facing the courtyard, which was better (but lets face it, the noise is still there so if you want peace and quiet, this isnt it). In addition there were repair within the building too when I stayed - of course this is not to the fault of anyone.
** Pros: location is close to 2 metro lines, 2 shopping centres. Its very convenient to get most places and close to SHA airport (Pudong is further off). The security is good. The garbage station is open most of the day. They offered change of sheets and towels weekly which was great.
**Cons: the rooms are a bit old so there is a smell, I also was unlucky that the previous guest had smoked despite it being forbidden. Saw a cockroach once (but never again - be careful to throw away garbage quickly) and also the doors are quite thin so you'll hear your neighbors in the corridors. Rooms are ”surface” clean but not deep clean, so if you like squeaky clean like me you have to get your own materials. There is definitely buildup.
Overall it was a decent stay, and I left with a good feeling thanks to Peter and the nice staff there! Thanks!
