shippmanIt's right beside the beach. Cars can go to the parking lot downstairs through the elevator. The hotel has just been refurbished. There is no coffee machine or kettle in the room. It's acceptable. Not bad and not too good.

Guest UserLovely small hotel. In a great location. 10 mins walk to Old Town. 25 mins to beach. Bus stops directly outside the hotel which is very useful.
There are some lovely restaurants and bars within a 5 min walk. I can strongly recommend The Magnolia restaurant 10/10. Some of the best food I've ever had in Spain and a beautiful setting. Book in advance and ask for top terrace. Superb.
The hotel pool is small but big enough to cool down in.
There is no bar or restaurant in the hotel but breakfast and drinks are provided in your room. A nice touch. You also get a glass of cava while you get booked in. Miroslava ( Mexican) was great. She couldn't be more helpful.
The only down side was the room design. The reading lights are too low. If you want to read in bed the only place for the pillows is over the lights. Totally impracticable and very uncomfortable 😕
A small gripe.
Would recommend.

5 stars in Santander,the most prestigious hotel,not so modern,but if you know the history of its creation,you will come back again and again. It was built for the royal court when the royal family came to Magdalene Palace, which is at the bottom of the sea on the peninsula. Since then it is a place to gather all the nobles. Everything is measured and steadily, the public with money and age. Breakfasts are some of the best, especially if covered in the air, but it is like weather luck. The only minus is tired furniture, but I still have my charms here. There is an opportunity, take with the view of the sea (gulf). In the morning with the sunrise the view is incredible. To the center 15 minutes down the city, on the sea 20-25 on foot. Parking is own.

Although it is at the end of the seaside, the room is comfortable and the parking is convenient, especially the restaurant inside the hotel is very good. Recommended as a family travel hotel!

GómezThe hotel is located in an industrial estate, about 20 minutes by car from the center of Santander. The facilities were not bad, but there were some pipes in sight and some stained carpets in the hall. The room itself was pretty good, it was large, and the bathroom was very spacious too. The only thing we missed was a minibar, but everything else was fine. I would surely stay there again.

Guest UserOnly 1 night stopover. Staff friendly. Not 100% clean. Dangerous shower floor very slippery. Need to replace awful chair in room. Easy parking.
