"The room facilities are complete, and the decor style is unique, with a regal, palace-like feel that I absolutely loved! đ It's just a stone's throw from the train station, which is super convenient! Plus, the soundproofing in the room was quite good. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time."

"The staffs are so friendly and helpful. The local is not too far from city centre. We walked to the city centre less than5mins, walk to city wall from the hotel about 15mins but if you walk faster it takes 7-8mins. The breakfast is great."

Amazing
GGuest UserService at the hotel was excellent, staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had a snack (Fried chicken wing starter) which was also very good. I didnt use the spa so cannot comment. The location was excellent 9 min walk from the train station. I would definitely stay again if I returned to Chester.
CChitiThank you for an excellent stay. We deeply appreciate how welcoming and helpful the staff were especially as our stay was unexpectedly eventful. Your kindness and patience given with coffee and toast made a tough time bearable. We will return to experience this lovely place again
GGuest UserGreat Pub in a good location. A little tlc was required in our room to make it closer to great. Not many plug sockets, all in the wrong places (sorry).Â
Staff fabulous, food good. Overall 3.6/5.
GGuest UserA place with old world charm and in a great location. Â The double bed we had was on the small size, so we wished we'd selected a twin room. Breakfast was good, though water should be provided without having to ask. Â The coffee was a disappointing lukewarm warm filter type, despite there being a decent machine in view behind the bar.
JJema MayburyStayed here last night, everything was perfect. Our room was lovely and clean and had everything we needed for one night. The hotel is close to the city so just an uber ride away. The staff were friendly and welcoming and we opted for the breakfast the next day which was delicious. Would definitely stay here again.
GGuest UserLovely hotel with nice big clean rooms. A few issues though - you really need a car to get here as it's a bit far out from the city centre. In my room there was a room service menu and a number to dial for room service, but no phone. The food and drink was ok. During my stay there was only 1 person on the bar and service was a little slow. I ordered a soft drink and it was a bit flat, definitely not worth the ÂŁ4 they charged for it. Because of staff shortages the dining room was filled with tables that needed to be cleaned. Breakfast was also a bit of a disaster. They charge ÂŁ15 for it but definitely not worth it. There's a self serve hot buffet which was fine, nothing exceptional. There was no coffee available, just tea bags and hot water. Also there were no plates available at the continental station - really missing attention to detail when there were quite a few staff members present.
GGuest UserFor a normal size breakfast you had to pay extra, the heating was broken in the spa so it was quite cold. The hotel did look a bit tatty in places. Service was lacking, always had to chase the staff members. Lovely building and good location.
JJamieOn the first night I was out in a small room which was stuffy and unventilated, however after complaining I was put in a much nicer room for the rest of my stay. The second room had a good view and a/c.
Location is superb for Chester Centre.
GGuest UserThe property is very close to the city (short walk) and had plenty of parking. The shower had good water pressure and I found the room comfortable. The member of staff I dealt with was friendly and helpful.
GGuest UserThis is a very traditional hotel. It has a very good leisure centre (so donât forget your swim suit).
The hotel has a large bar area which is very comfortable and the prices reasonable.
There is a large free car park.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
