I stayed two days at Royal Pavilion Hua Hin. It is an older 3-star hotel with some renovation, so expectations for facilities and services should be moderate. The housekeeping lady kept the room very clean

The location is very good, close to the night market. The night market is one of the best I have visited in Bangkok, with many seafood restaurants and quite a few places offering live music.
If your budget allows, you may want to consider a 4- or 5-star hotel for more facilities and services."

Our stay at Centara Grand Beach Resort Hua Hin was truly unforgettable. The moment we arrived, we were swept away by its old-world charm — grand colonial-style architecture, amazing gardens, and the most welcoming smiles from the staff. It felt like stepping into another era, where time moved slower and everything was a little more beautiful.
Our room was spacious and elegant, with all the comforts you could ask for. (Bathrobes were not in the closet, but with a phone call to reception , the robes were delivered promptly to our room). Love the beach bag that they provide during our stay.
The resort’s location is unbeatable — just a short, pleasant stroll to charming cafés, restaurants, and the lively Hua Hin Night Market. Everything we needed was within easy reach, yet the resort still felt wonderfully private and serene.
One of the highlights for me was going horse riding along the beach. I didn’t go far though, just enough to take pictures. A little negotiation skill with the horse handler would come handy and I paid THB300 for this lovely experience.
The only small downside is that the beach isn’t really suitable for swimming — but honestly, with the beautiful pools and so much else to enjoy, it didn’t take away from the experience at all.
Centara Hua Hin has a special soul — a rare mix of history, beauty, and genuine hospitality. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already dreaming of coming back! ❤️

GGuest UserBooked a family suite, and the room was absolutely enormous! Dining was on the executive floor, with complimentary afternoon tea and evening cocktail hours. It pretty much covered three meals a day, which was incredibly cost-effective. The location is great, and I loved the poolside bar – sitting there, watching the sea, and listening to the waves was the best part of my day.

SSchweigertIt’s a nice Resort if you want relax. We booked a Villa wirh pool and another room for the kids. Distance between Villa and room not to close but can walk to eat other in a nice garden. Arrival was a little strange nobody there on the concierge station or open beautiful Lobby. But anyway after some minutes we check in. Villa is quite and nice. The room has actually the same layout and furniture and bed everything was good. Housekeeping comes every day and clean up all. It give two pool areas. Main pool is on the heach side and second pool in the lagoon area. We mostly spend our time on the beach side pool which has different depths. Kids and adults can swim and have fun there. Breakfast selection is perfect and can sit outside on the beach pool side or in an aircondition room. Service staff is ok but sometimes they forgot food or drinks which we ordered. But the hotel manager is every morning joining the breakfast time and do a great job. He talked to each table and if have a complain he immediately do his best to solve or compensate it. We really enjoyed the 10 days there and can recommend the hotel.

QQianyoutianxiaThere are two markets nearby. The Cicada Market sells some artistic handicrafts and clothing, as well as some food stalls with a higher sense of quality. The Tamarind Market is mainly for food and is cheaper. The market performances before 11 o'clock on weekends have a little impact on the room. After 11 o'clock, it is relatively quiet. The feeling of the independent house facing the swimming pool is still more casual than the general hotel. Breakfast is ordered one day in advance and delivered to the terrace at the door in the morning. The privacy is quite good! Since there are only 11 rooms, not many people use the swimming pool, which is quite comfortable! It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the beach. You can watch the sunrise in the morning 🌅 and ride horses on the beach.

HHappy sunnyWe were upgraded to second floor with balcony. New looking room extremely large bed can sleep three or four people! Bathroom new, excellent shower with rain shower, strong pressure hot water. Anantara spa amenities. Love it! Renovation going on here and there but noise gone at 6pm. Breakfast location moved to restaurant in front of beach. A bit cramped but nice views of ocean. Especially loved the large bed & shower (no bathtub). Good sleep. Ricky the parrot is super cute!

GGuest UserThe hotel has a Moroccan-style exterior that looks a bit aged, but the interior is quite lovely. Our room had a balcony overlooking the pool, complete with a jacuzzi. The pool is right next to the beach, and sitting on the beanbags by the poolside at night, enjoying the sea breeze, was incredibly relaxing. The breakfast spread was also generous, and it was a real treat to dine by the pool if you enjoy the sunshine.

GGuest UserGreat location as 3 mins from the beach and across the road from Market Village with busses and Tuk Tuks easily available if you want to explore the region. Breakfast had fresh egg choices and different dishes to suit everyone which was fresh and tasty. Hotel has 2 pools and the top one has relaxing views,sunbeds and a bar. Be warned it can be noisy in the evenings because of its location but all quiet before midnight

GGuest UserThis is a good hotel, slightly old fashioned but the staff are friendly and helpful. The room was big and had good storage. WiFi was not good so the smart TV was not usable. Breakfast is cheap if a little limited and would benefit from better quality coffee.
There's a nice pool which would benefit from more sunbeds, parasols and a pool towel station.
The location is great and price is good.
Our room was advertised as mountain view. Make your own mind up about that description!

GGuest UserExcellent location on the beach and close to the night market with convenient parking.
We were in the building furtherest back from the beach (about 100m) but the pathway there was nice.
At 1st, the room we were in (504A) and its amenities seemed a bit old but with a couple of upstairs rooms with enough beds for 6 people in total, 2 toilets and 2 large balconies, it was excellent value for money.
Negatives:
The rooms were nice and clean except for a bit of dust on top of the wardrobe (only noticeable if you’re over 6ft tall) and the couch had a few stains.
The electronic key cards didn’t work at 1st which is always frustrating, especially when it takes time to go to reception and back to the room, the weather is really hot and you have a baby.
The worst thing that needs to be mentioned, is the elevator doors for our particular building, had a crush hazard. Later I noticed the sign but one’s instant reaction to elevator doors prematurely and unexpectedly closing is to put your arm between them.
On a last positive note, the massage service by the pool and ocean was reasonably priced and most enjoyable especially in the evening when it’s a bit cooler and you can hear the waves rolling in.
