Lakeshore Hotel Hualien Taroko has three buildings, which can be a bit confusing, but the staff were all very polite and patiently explained everything. The breakfast in the restaurant was abundant, delicious, and offered a wide and refined selection. I didn't realize when booking that breakfast wasn't included, so I added it for 500 per person, which I felt was well worth it. The room was clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. They also provided complimentary afternoon tea snacks. The surrounding environment is natural and spacious, and you can walk to the beach in just a short while. Overall, I was very satisfied.

Except for last year, I'm a loyal returning guest to Lakeshore Hotel Hualien, staying here every year. I have a lot of sentiment attached to Lakeshore, and I truly hope everything at the hotel continues to develop positively. Therefore, I'd like to share my honest thoughts and offer some suggestions.

Pros:
- The bed was incredibly comfortable.
- The housekeeping staff were very responsible and diligent.
- The front desk ladies provided excellent service.
- They were kind enough to let us park our scooter in the basement, which was a huge plus given the rainy weather during our stay.

Areas for improvement:
- The water pressure in the showerhead was too low.
- The indoor lighting was insufficient; it wasn't bright enough.
- The indoor slippers provided were uncomfortable, making me want to wear my own slippers inside. This would, in turn, make it difficult to keep the indoor floors clean.

This hotel is perfect for family trips! We had such a happy and relaxing stay this time. The double-spring design in the room was a huge plus, even our preschooler had a blast! The overall environment was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient, within walking distance to Su'ao town. The hotel staff were also very friendly, and proactively offered help and showed genuine care. We will definitely be back!

The room was a nice size. Also liked having a totally separate ”room” for the stool. Surprised to see a tub in the room.There must be an issue with humidity but there was a dehumidifier and it wasn't so noisy to disturb our sleep.

Breakfast was plentiful and a large variety however, it's pretty much identical to the Lakeshore Hotel Suao where we spent the next two nights. So the breakfast was boring for three mornings in a row. 

It was very accommodating that you can stay in the breakfast dining room until 13:30. Check out, put luggage in the car and enjoy a leisurely breakfast.

The rooms offer a variety of themes, especially the character-themed rooms designed for children, which are very appealing. The reception staff explained everything clearly, and the 안내 (information/guidance) was also very helpful. The environment is incredibly clean and tidy. The coin laundry is a convenient addition. There's a large kids' play area on the first basement floor that the children absolutely loved. The breakfast had a wide selection, was colorful, and delicious. The kids kept saying they wanted to stay again!

I stayed on a weekday, so the price was quite reasonable. The location is excellent, right next to Big City, and it's less than a 10-minute walk. The room wasn't huge, but the soundproofing was decent, and it was very clean. The breakfast was really delicious! I'd definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Hsinchu!
