Great
SSweetheart672The rooms are great, Beds are so comfortable.. everything was lovely except the cameras on our balcony seemed a little severe. There is no smoking on the property, like apparently not even your own balcony so you have to walk off the property to smoke.. nice pool delicious breakfast. We stayed at RIU after this place because we were trying out different hotels and areas throughout the trip.. their beds are horrible, I would definitely prefer the mill if going back to this area
YYINGCHONGOriginally called The Mill Resort, there is a windmill next to it. Since turning into a Courtyard, the overall tone has improved and the service seems to be average. Room service only cleaned the floor and changed bath towels. Every day, the sun loungers by the pool were filled with bath towels by American aunts. Room facilities are good, there is a small refrigerator and microwave, bathroom space is very spacious. The beggar room that I set up did not eat at the hotel. The breakfast at the Mimosa restaurant under the windmill was about $ 10, which is more cost-effective than having a buffet breakfast at the hotel.
GGuest UserWe were aware that there would be construction around the hotel while Hilton expands, and for the most part it wasn’t an issue. The disappointment was that only one of two pools was open, meaning that sometimes it was hard to find seating around the pool area.
Beach loungers were easy to book and a selection of them were free each day. Palm beach is really beautiful and it was nice to have it so accessible to the hotel.
On the whole, service at the hotel was great, there were a couple of staff members who were potentially having a bad day but generally Aruban’s are extremely friendly. Violet, was in charge of cleaning our room throughout our stay and she was just lovely!
Although not the hotel’s fault, I was told at Che k-in that there was an extra resort charge each day. Trip.com said there would be a small government tax. But mentioned nothing about the resort fee. The government tax was also more than trip.com stated on our booking confirmation.
JJeampolThe hotel's redeeming features are the variety of food, the beach, the activities they schedule, and the good service, except for the reception supervisor who was awful. The negative side is that the hotel is not big, unlike other Rius hotels. When it comes to check-out, they make sure you leave the facilities before 7:00 p.m., and unlike other resorts where I stayed on my name day, I don't receive any details except for a letter telling me to leave the room at the appropriate time. This is definitely not recommended, as there is no relationship between the price you pay and the service you receive.
