Shangrao Hotels with Breakfast

This guesthouse near Wangxian Valley offers incredible value for money, far exceeding our expectations. It's only a few minutes' drive from the scenic area, and the owner provides complimentary shuttle service, making getting around super convenient. The room was clean and tidy, with a cozy layout, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, fully stocked with toiletries – every detail was well thought out. The owners were incredibly warm and hospitable, genuinely welcoming us with fresh fruit upon arrival and offering thoughtful recommendations for local eateries. Tucked away in the mountains, the guesthouse boasts a tranquil and quiet environment, free from traffic noise, ensuring a great night's sleep after a long day of exploring. With excellent facilities, convenient parking, and an affordable price, it's perfect for families or friends traveling together, and an outstanding choice for accommodation when visiting Wangxian Valley.

Lovely, warm and kind lady owner, and her family, who ensure you enjoy your stay Including providing free transport to Wangxian Valley from and back to the hotel. She even offered us breakfast which was the best tasting noodles we had during our 1 week journey in China thus far. Lucky for us, she's willing to share her secret recipe! We got upgraded for our room. The room is spacious, with nice design just as shown on the photos. If we have the chance to come back again to Shangrao, we will definitely stay here again.

The guesthouse is located on a mountain. The rooms are large and clean, and it's very close to the scenic area entrance, saving you the cost of the cable car. The landlady is very welcoming; she always arranges for her own tricycle to pick us up and drop us off whenever we go to the scenic area, and she also helps guests arrange shared rides. The prices are reasonable, and the service is excellent. It's a great place.

We had a fantastic time and highly recommend this place for tourists (including foreign tourists). Nancy and the staff were so kind, helpful and friendly - they shared recommendations on where to visit. The food was absolutely delicious; we recommend ordering lunch and dinner there too. The room was lovely; the view from the balcony was stunning and very peaceful. We recommend hiring Master Yu as the driver; He drove us around the various villages (Wuyuan is his hometown, so he knows all the good places to visit). He is so thoughtful and took our picture many times! The afternoon tea was also very special. We had a wonderful trip!

The breakfast was delicious, and there are many restaurants nearby. It's very close to the scenic area, the property is brand new and spotless, and the room is quite spacious, making it easy to store luggage.

I opted for one of their newly opened rooms for this stay. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring I slept soundly right until dawn. What I particularly loved was the Huipai architectural style, with its classic white walls, dark tiled roofs, and charmingly arranged courtyards. The subtle aroma of tea permeated the air, instantly putting me at ease.

I came to Wunvzhou for a trip and booked a hotel inside the scenic area. It included two-day admission tickets for two people, as well as tickets to the water park and the children's fun museum, which was excellent value for money. Initially, I was worried that hotels within a scenic area might be noisy, but my concerns were alleviated after staying there. My room was assigned facing the street, but with the windows closed, the noise from outside was manageable. Most people were out watching performances anyway, so it wasn't a big issue. The performances in the scenic area lasted until past 10 PM. After a long walk around the area, it was great to be able to walk a few steps back to the hotel and rest immediately. In the mornings, the scenic area was quiet, so sleeping in wasn't a problem. The hotel provided two breakfast vouchers. It would be inconvenient if you didn't want to eat at the hotel or missed the breakfast time. Restaurants and convenience stores in the scenic area open quite late, usually after 10:30 AM, so be sure to pay attention to breakfast times. Hotel shuttle service: If you drive, park in the underground parking lot, then check in at the visitor service center. Afterward, an electric shuttle will take you to the scenic area. Wunvzhou Water Park: The hotel gave me one adult ticket to the water park. You can buy extra tickets to bring children along. However, sometimes the outdoor sections are closed, which significantly reduces the fun.

The hotel is located right near the Waishuangxi Ropeway. We stayed in the Yunxi building, which has a great environment, nestled by the mountains and a stream. The hotel room was also very spacious, well-equipped, and clean. Parking was convenient and free. Our whole family loved it.

We came for a biking holiday. We stayed 4 nights. We left every morning on a different biking route. Lots of roads and villages. We each had a guest room. I was disappointed that I had the smallest room but they thought I wanted to be on the same floor as my friends. They moved me to the 2nd floor and now I had the same HUGE place as my friends. In the sitting room, is an L-shaped couch. It pulls out as a bed. So I guess this room could fit up to 4 people. The shower is huge. There is plenty of space to wash our bikes. The sauna/hot air thing was great for drying our clothes too! Had we been more people, we probably would have rented one of the bigger places and shared instead of getting our own guest rooms. It's fairly quiet. Breakfast was served in a separate traditional building. Normal Chinese breakfast, but asked for the noodles with the fried eggs! The kitchen staff were very accommodating when we asked if we could have breakfast at 7 am. Also, we asked for a late check-out because we wanted to shower after our ride. They let each of us have our rooms till 4pm at no charge. It would be great if the stone tiles could be power washed as it was quite slippery when it rained. I didn't have my driver's license but I needed to go pick up my friend and his broken bike. So I went back to ask the manager if he could drive our car 35 km to pick up my friend. He was happy to drive me! The sign to the guest house was not installed but if you look for the castle-like building, you'll find it. It was tricky getting to the hotel because we arrived late and it was absolutely chucking down with rain. This is a great, gorgeous place if you want peace and quiet. My room had a river view. Great for relaxation. Highly recommend this place.
