GGuest UserDoesn’t meet Belmond expectations. 1. Food is average, the same we had in a small village, change a chef, not tasty at all. 2. On a breakfast waiters ALWAYS bring fruits and after 5 min asking if I need them. Why on earth I should eat fruits in 5 min? And why do you need it? Quality and variety of breakfast is not nice — all days we had not fresh blueberries. In my home country I have blueberries from Peru and it’s fresher. How it is possible? 3. Welcome is not in Belmond style: no champagne or good chocolate. 4. One day we asked to clean the room before 12, they did, we came and I was sure we are alone in the room. When I was naked I saw a gardener in our private terrace. He also saw me. How it’s possible he entered our terrace when I was in the room????? With no bell and knocking???? 5. Alpacas feeding is also trash: all people from hotel come, you will never get nice pictures like on instagram. Why you don’t make it by appointment? We had a lot of experiences with animals in different countries , this one is the worst. 6. Stuff is not well trained, communication is super artificial. Place is beautiful, but that’s it. Worst Belmond we have been to. Ask Monasterio Belmond about good experience and top notch service.

GGuest UserBesides the location (5mins walk from train and restaurant’s) and quality of the rooms, the reason this is getting a 5 star review from me and my mates was the customer service. The people working at the hotel - in particular Nathale and William - were absolutely wonderful. Probably the best customer service I’ve ever received (I mean this literally). They went above and beyond to answer all our questions and helped us navigate train suspensions and protests (even offered us showers and a place to rest after climbing Machu Picchu, post check out). They didn’t just respond to needs, they assessed and identified what would make us more comfortable and they delivered it proactively.

GGuest UserWe really enjoyed our stay. The staff met us right at the train platform and walked us to the hotel, which was very convenient and thoughtful after a long journey. The hotel is clean, cozy, and comfortable, and you can truly feel the care for guests. After visiting Machu Picchu, even after check-out, we still had plenty of time before our train. The staff kindly allowed us to wait in the lobby, charge our phones, and use the Wi-Fi, which was extremely helpful. We highly recommend this hotel!

Nn a g iI stayed to climb Machu Picchu. The access was good and the bus stop to Machu Picchu was very close. The breakfast time was relatively early and I had to get up early, but it was delicious. Since there is no screen door, it is recommended to be careful not to let insects come in when opening the window, or to look outside without opening. I was grateful that the restaurant in the series was discounted.

MMananxi_MXvery good! I didn't take a lot of photos, but I probably told you about it! First of all, I went to Machu Picchu to stay in Hot Water Town for one night. The town was really small, so this hotel looked far from the station. It took only 3 minutes to walk. I got off the train station and walked uphill. The hotel is four stars, the lobby reception service is very good, there is free hot tea bags for you to drink, there is an elevator with luggage storage service, the room is large, and the bed for two people is almost Queen size. Room facilities are complete: electric fans, heating, blankets It is worth mentioning: Wi-Fi is particularly easy to use, the meeting is very smooth; the faucet is large, the bath is very happy! Watching the river at night to sleep, the white noise of sleep aid Breakfast was too early to experience, but the hotel staff were very enthusiastic and patient. After returning from Machu Picchu, we rested in the lobby and charged to the train station to return to Ouyutai. The price is also very affordable, in short, the experience is very good 😘 recommend everyone to come

GGuest UserMy room was clean and organized. The bathroom is very small but reasonable for myself. The quality of the shampoo and other soaps were poor, so bring your own. If you need a clean and cheap place to stay, this place is good.

AAnsgarMaseFor the Price we paid, it was a great deal. The Stuff was friendly, gave us a take away breakfast. We could store our bags there for Free when we went to Machu Piccu. Its Simple, try to not get a room with Windows to the main street but it calms down at 9pm. Showers are hot and nice pressured The Stuff came twice and ask if everything is okay Overall I defently recommend it and would book it again
