Very well-located hotel, very pleasant staff, however, no elevator and the bathroom was not very functional.

Location was the only thing as advertised. The entry is blocked by ATM machine - hard to get in and out with suitcases. Old carpeting, old paint job with heavy signs of use and dirt on walls. No headboards - single thin pillows right on walls with stains from other peoples use. Substandard bathroom fittings. Substandard low price point very used IKEA furniture. For two rooms they call delux there was one chair in small room. No basic coffee maker or fridge. This hotel was straight out of 1980. Regardless of old architecture - this was a very low quality and used, shabby hotel. My partner and I left right after checking in for another hotel that was as advertised. Unless you are used to travelling in hostels and very low budged price point - don’t bother. The price does not reflect what you will get. Place need serious updates in furnishings and equipment. Just because the building g is historic does not excuse owners from keeping the place up. Others do it quite well.

This hotel is in a great location within the Uffizi, Academica, Il Duomo and Santa Croce all within a 30 minute walk. The front desk people were very helpful and happy to advise on best locations. I’d advise anyone with mobility issues to request a low floor room. For what we paid there were no issues at all

It’s far from Bucharest 2hrs 30 minutes with car it’s amazing place and you can have nice food and the prices are not expensive every thing you need for enjoy you will found it it’s my advice for all and good luck for everyone

Good location, walkable to train station. Very basic but clean. Room was very small. Staff were kind, friendly and helpful.

Air conditioning was strong, bathroom was narrow and dated, mattress was hard and pillows were flat. Location was excellent and close to train station. Oh I forgot to mention there’s no elevator. WiFi was weak. Staff was great.
