When I checked in, the front desk kindly reminded me that a package was being held at the concierge desk. The concierge staff member was also thoughtful and delivered both my luggage and the package to my room, which made for a great experience. The room was clean and tidy, and the mattress was very comfortable. Many thanks to Kelly, our housekeeper, for her full-service follow-up. Truly a five-star hotel in Fuqing."

The Tianyue Liya Hotel, a short drive from the station (about ten minutes' drive), was a good choice. It's also conveniently located just over a kilometer from Wanda Plaza, Fuqing's commercial center. The spacious lobby, friendly service, and clean, comfortable rooms ensured a good night's sleep."

If you ask the front desk for something or takeout, a small robot will deliver it. The overall feeling is OK. Except for that..."

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we couldn't have breakfast there that morning, so we asked the front desk beforehand if we could take some home. They said yes, but the next day when we asked the cleaning lady for a bag, she rudely asked which receptionist had said we could take it. Her attitude was terrible! Thumbs down! Can't they just talk nicely?!"

"The location is excellent, right by the roadside. The hotel seems to be a commercial-to-residential conversion. Across the street is a park with pedestrian paths, and the night view and lights are beautiful in the evening. It's a 10-minute walk to the ancient street. During Chinese New Year, there's a bus stop opposite with direct routes to the museum and two Wanda Plazas. I felt the room price was a little on the expensive side. There weren't enough staff, so checking in involved waiting for rooms to be cleaned, which is understandable during the holiday season. **Environment:** The owner clearly put thought into it, focusing on a 'tea-meets-friends' theme with tea rooms filling the space. However, the room layout isn't very spacious and isn't as bright as it appears in photos. The bedding quality is good; I slept very well. The in-room smart AI is pretty useless beyond opening and closing the curtains; the voice commands are buggy, and the bedside button switches aren't very responsive. **Facilities:** The shower product description mentioned 'household solar,' implying limited energy supply. The water temperature and quality were just average, not particularly hot. **Service:** Luggage storage is available, and they offer free laundry and drying services. **Breakfast:** The signature fishball soup was great! However, the special seaweed pancake was too dry and hard to swallow without a seaweed filling. I suggest removing it; if the seaweed pancake is too costly, two boiled eggs would be a fine alternative. The drinks, soy milk, tomatoes, and fruit were all very good. Overall, for the Chinese New Year holiday, the price was acceptable, though a bit on the high side. Around 280 would be more reasonable."

"1. The front desk staff at the hotel were incredibly attentive and provided exceptional service. 2. The room's layout was stylish and chic, a refreshing change from typical, cookie-cutter hotels. It really added to the overall ambiance and guest experience. 3. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, even more so than my own at home. I wonder what brand it is? 4. The room also featured a complete Gongfu tea set, though unfortunately, I didn't have my own tea to enjoy it. 5. I had to rush for an early flight, otherwise, I would have loved to try the hotel's breakfast. 6. There's a McDonald's nearby, which is my favorite, and it's open 24 hours. 7. The 6th floor has independent meeting rooms, which is a fantastic amenity for small teams on business trips."
