Amazing
TTomokuChenThe hotel's reception is quite peculiar. You have to walk through a narrow hallway to get to it, and it's not a traditional lobby, just a small front desk. I'm not sure if this is an intentional design choice.
It feels a bit small-scale, which doesn't quite match the price point of this hotel.
Breakfast: Absolutely amazing! It's connected to the reception, but the setting is incredibly beautiful. Definitely worthy of being in the top three design rankings; you can take beautiful photos effortlessly.
Taste: Even better, truly exceptional.
Location: Many attractions in the old town are within walking distance, which is very convenient.

Amazing
PPengskyThe hotel room was very spacious. However, they assigned us a disabled-access room even though we hadn't requested a special room type. This meant the bathroom facilities were all quite low, which was a bit inconvenient. The service attitude was decent, but considering the price, it offered reasonable value for money. The breakfast was okay; nothing particularly special but clean. The overall environment and infrastructure were good, but the cleanliness definitely needs improvement.
MM.AshalWe had a great stay at Grand Hotel Prague Towers. The service was phenomenal from start to finish, and the rooms were very well cleaned every day, which really stood out.
Food and drinks at the hotel are a bit more expensive compared to prices in the city, but the convenience and wide selection make it worthwhile, especially after a long day. The elevators are fast, so staying on a higher floor is no issue at all.
The room was spacious, with large comfortable beds and a bathtub, which was a nice bonus. If you stay higher up, the views are open and very enjoyable. The spa located at the top of the building is a highlight, and having access to Thai massage on site is a big plus.
There is also a gym with modern equipment. It is not very large, but more than enough to stay active during a trip.
Parking is plentiful at the hotel and included, which is a big advantage. There is also a metro station right outside the hotel, making it very easy and quick to get into the city center.
Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety and honestly nothing to complain about. Overall, a high-quality hotel with great comfort, service, and facilities. I would happily stay here again.
MMandy_HLovely hotel that takes its name from Mozart’s first opera, Don Giovanni. It is conveniently located just 10 minutes outside of Prague city centre, boasting excellent transport links with both tram and underground stations within a few minutes' walk.
The hotel offers a fantastic range of amenities, including two restaurants. The cuisine is lovely, offering a variety of traditional Czech dishes (such as pork dumplings) alongside international staples like pasta and burgers. The desserts are a highlight - don't miss their specially curated ”Czech Inn” cake. For entertainment, there is a games room and even a giant chessboard!
The entrance is truly grand, featuring a dedicated ”selfie area” where you can capture the opulent staircase and a bust of Mozart. The hotel also pays homage to the beloved director Miloš Forman; you'll find several pictures from his Oscar-winning film, Amadeus, adorning the corridors. To maintain the classical theme, a live pianist plays throughout most of the day, including during breakfast.
The breakfast buffet is sumptuous, with a wide array of hot and cold options and delicious pastries (the vanilla custard croissant is a must-try). It does get quite busy, however, so it is best to go early (around 7:00am) or slightly later (just after 10:00am).
For those interested in history, the hotel is located near the New Jewish Cemetery, where you can visit Franz Kafka’s grave.
Overall, a lovely stay for the Easter break!
GGuest UserThe hotel assigned us a newly renovated room, which was spotless and even featured a comfortable, large sofa. On my wife's birthday, the hotel surprised us with a complimentary bottle of red wine and a thoughtful birthday greeting, instantly making us feel so warm and happy. The room offered great value for money, and the breakfast spread was plentiful. Most attractions are easily reachable within about 20 minutes by public transport. The tram stop is just 200 meters to the right when you exit the hotel, and it has a machine where you can purchase various tickets. While the hotel also has a ticket machine, it only accepts coins. However, it's worth noting that most Prague trams now have ticket machines onboard (selling various day passes) which accept bank cards. This hotel comes highly recommended for those traveling by car, with daily parking available for €12.
BBailidaiwangThis hotel has that classic 'old money' vibe, much like the Grand Budapest Hotel with its symmetrical architecture. It's massive, feels like hundreds of rooms. The downside is the 'square with an open center' layout, which meant our room was incredibly far from the elevator – it felt like a five-minute walk just to get there from our door.
The breakfast was delicious with a great variety, and the omelets were particularly good. The person in charge at the breakfast entrance seemed to be training an intern. When we were checking out, we were rushing to catch a train, so we brought our luggage directly to breakfast from our room. At first, the restaurant manager suggested we check our bags at the front desk. I explained we were very short on time, and he handled it expertly in front of the intern. He had the intern seat us in a spot that wouldn't obstruct other guests – that was really good.
However, the hotel slippers were terrible; they were so flimsy they tore after just one day. They felt incredibly cheap and completely out of line with the Hilton brand.
Overall, the hotel feels very solid and reliable, with excellent basic amenities. It's grand and a good choice for a trip.

Very Good
GGuest UserOverall, very convenient and comfortable hotel to stay for short time. Breakfast is great, good amenities if you want to use the gym and laundry. The only thing we noticed that housekeeping only gave fresh towels and emptied bins. It did not look like they cleaned or made the beds. Not sure if you have to request this at reception as there was no sign to put on door to make up the room either. On the other hand the staff were super friendly and helpful. They gave us early check in and late checkout, which allowed us to freshen up before travels. For short time stay, this is a good choice.

Review Title: Mishandled Room Request and Refund Refused
We booked 4 nights at Occidental Praha Five but checked out one night early due to repeated service failures — despite this, we tried to be reasonable, as we are just travelers trying to enjoy our trip, not cause trouble.
Our clear request for two single beds was ignored. We were given a queen bed, then moved — again to a queen. A blanket was handed to us so we could “make do.” The next day, nothing was fixed. After calling reception and waiting 40 minutes, a non-English-speaking cleaner came, confused, and simply threw another blanket on the bed. That was it.
Only after Trip.com intervened did the hotel send us a fruit plate and a bottle of wine — which we did not drink and in fact returned to the reception, because we weren’t looking for superficial gestures — we just wanted the room we booked.
We checked out on Sunday and requested a refund for the unused fourth night. We were told it needed approval from higher management. On Monday, we were shocked to hear the refund was refused, based on the false claim that we never checked out — despite having paid the tourism tax and received an invoice. We were also wrongly accused of drinking minibar water, which we clearly explained was untouched.
This refund is for a night we did not use, and under basic consumer rights, we are entitled to it. The hotel’s disorganization and refusal to take responsibility made a simple issue unnecessarily stressful. I do not recommend this hotel.
PPTRTerraThe room is particularly clean, the facilities are complete, the room size is right, the hotel environment is very good, there is a fountain at the door, there are many cherry trees in the small park not far away, unattended, there are bars, billiard halls, swimming pools, restaurants, etc., parking lot is also quite good. Traffic needs to walk a few hundred meters to the main road to have trams, buses.
