Great
GGuest UserI stayed at this hostel for two nights, and it might be one of the best I've ever stayed in. It's really clean, well-organized, and you can tell there's attention to detail.
I can confirm what I read in some of the reviews: it's not a particularly social hostel. However, I was still able to meet some people during my stay. They have a WhatsApp group where they post about events and nights out, and on the first evening, I went out with a few people from the hostel for a pub crawl. It was a really fun night.
I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, well-maintained hostel with at least some opportunities to meet new people.
XXIAOHONGGood location, convenient to all attractions, there are many small supermarkets downstairs, trams and subway stations are very close, access is very convenient, health is to be improved
GGuest UserBreakfast is relatively simple, but it is basically enough. There are no sausages or meat. The center is two or three kilometers away, right? The service staff is more enthusiastic, there is a kitchen on each floor, and you can cook by yourself, which is good
GGuest UserIt was way much better than I expected. Perhaps the best hostel experience (I'm not a fan of hostels to be honest) so far. Very friendly staff and room was nice and spacious, nice style. Would probably book again. 😸👍👍
DDukenvicA&O Charles Bridge Prague Retreat Hotel Experience
My stay at the A&O Charles Bridge Prague Retreat Hotel had its highlights and shortcomings. The bunk beds in the room were cleverly spaced, making it easy to move around even when on the top bunk. The room was also very clean and tidy, with no unpleasant odors from the bedding, ensuring a comfortable stay.
However, the hotel service was somewhat disappointing. During check-in, one of the front desk staff was indifferent and expressionless, lacking enthusiasm and patience, which made me feel uncomfortable. Furthermore, I was informed of a significant additional charge before check-in in the early morning, without any prior explanation of the charges, which was unreasonable. One staff member did help heat up food, which is commendable. I would also appreciate the possibility of the hotel providing a communal microwave!
This hotel has good facilities, but the service quality needs improvement. Travelers are advised to confirm charges before checking in to avoid unnecessary trouble. I hope the hotel will pay attention to service issues and make improvements to ensure a more comfortable and enjoyable trip for all guests.
GGuest UserLocation is great, but a big confusing to get to. The large sign outside of the building doesn’t actually say the hostel name (A plus). It says something else. The woman that checked me in and out was friendly and welcoming.
I stayed in a “private” room but the toilets and showers were still shared, which was one of the purposes of me getting a private room…. This wasn’t made clear before booking.
The floors were not cleaned, and my room was not cleaned in the second day (I stayed two nights). The toilets and showers were ok, but should be cleaned. When I was there, they weren’t “dirty”, but didn’t look like they’d been cleaned in quite a while.
The common area was just a bunch of tables and chairs and there wasn’t much socializing going on. When I walked in, there’s was one guy who was taking a nap. That was it. There is a cool old-school elevator that works from the first floor, which is fun.
Not sure why my room was as expensive as it was considering I could have stayed in an actual hotel for relatively the same price. Overall this wasn’t a bad place to stay, but definitely not worth the price.
MmidambleVery clean and the room was large and comfortable.
It was very close to the tram station, so it was easy to sightsee and the supermarket was very convenient in front of you.
